#PennyRose was helping fill the swimming pool Lisa brought her . It got REALLY funny when #RalphieD decided that picking the hose up out of the water was SCARY!! SHE WAS PLAYING WITH IT BEFORE THE WATER GOT OVER TOP OF IT AND IT WAS FINE!! Once it was covered and the noise was gone I guess Ralph thought it became something else?? LISTEN to him tell her to WATCH OUT each time she goes to pick it up.. Funny thing is SHE LISTENS TO HIM!! Watch her look at him for approval.. She will drop it and run as though it's gonna get her!! Started to let #LouieRay open these gifts but it was OBVIOUS the babies was the ones who needed to open them after I seen what was in them.. Louie was SUPER EXCITED to get his favorite drink from Debra Ann and quickly drank one down but his bug of choice is crickets so I saved the other bag for #RalphieAndPenny to open.. Then their was a box filled with goodies from Anna P that I knew was gonna be a BIG hit!! Penny still hasn't stopped eating the vegetable mix and Ralphie has now moved on to the dried fruit mix.. They are both sharing a bottle of the drink.. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH LADIES!! YOU MADE THEIR NIGHT!!

Found a small dish to put some water in for #RalphieAndPenny on the inside.. They have the water fountain outside but still might end up with a small pool inside.. They can't swim in the fountain like they can a pool.. Ralphie isn't a bath fan but he does enjoy playing in it from the side.. #PennyRosel is a water bug!! It's perfect enrichment for them..

These two got to open mail that wasn't theirs and they couldn't be happier about it 🤣 Turns out Tammie Bryant Fister sent the super cool soccer ball beautifully wrapped for Mr. #LouieRay.. I will be sure to wrap it back up and give it to him.. I won't tell him how much fun they are having with it and how it has been drug from kitchen to living room about 20 times already. I should have known she sent something for everyone.. SORRY TAMMIE!! I am super excited about Penny's new shirts!! They are SOOOOOOO CUTE!! Penny was SOOOOOOOOOOOO excited about the mealworms.. Played potatoes and onions with #RalphieD tonight.. That's where you roll all the potatoes and onions around the kitchen floor then tucking them under your arm and running till you gather as many as you can on your side.. I won tonight's game with 3 large potatoes and 2 onions.. I decided to eat some of my onion before calling it a night and getting #TheHuman groomed up for bed.. Mowing the babies pen trying to beat the rain.. Both #RalphieAndPenny sat on top of the water fountain watching me mow till I got a good bit mowed Then Penny quickly went to work!! She reminds me so much of #AngelBullock hunting carefully threw the chopped up grass for either tasty bugs or grass to eat.. She is very selective searching carefully for any sign of movement or good fresh smells that fire up her taste buds.. #RalphieD likes to hunt but he likes to look more for bugs that have landed on the fence or toys up high.. He lovez to try to catch them in the air!! IT'S SOOOOOOO CUTE!!! If something flies past him he quickly has his lil skinny arms swinging in the air trying to catch it.. He's gonna LOVE grasshopper season but has plenty of black crickets to catch until then.. Watching her hunt made me finish mowing in the rain BUT didn't start POURING until I got the mower to the porch!! My guardian Angel watching out of me 😊

#RalphieD and I got to hang out with my GRANDHumans this afternoon 😊my GRADpaps is nice but is a intimidating alpha so I respect that and approach him carefully 😉 I played pull your hair and get your glasses with the GRANDmammy.. Couple of my favourite games and she has PERFECT hair and glasses for it 😁 I grab them and jerk a few times quickly pullin away and #TheHuman yells EVERY TIME while the GRANDmammy reaches for the back of her head!! Its very predictable games but still enjoyable!! GRANDmammy gave us some nuts to eat and got us a bottle to drink.. After that was over I wanted to play got your leg with #Spanky but then #MyHumom said something about pushing my luck and final staws.. This time I got jail time without warning or a trail!! I was floored!! This was supposed to be our special #HumomsDay and now she blew it!! She needs a anger management class!! I was only playing 🙄 #HappyMothersDay

1 year ago today I got to go to Virginia and meet Craig and Nancy Kluin who would change my life forever.. The precious gift they gave me of #RalphieD and #PennyRose is nothing short of life changing.. It was LOVE at first sight when Kari Thurmer and I walked into the living room and saw their lil faces for the first time. It was almost to much to comprehend honestly!! I had just went through a nightmare with a lab monkey AND one I had tried to pay to rescue . Never did I think I would get to raise another BABY monkey and the fact there was 2 of them made it even harder to believe.. We packed up all their toys and cages then headed to the vet for paperwork.. Once we had them in the car I had BIG butterflies in my stomach.. it was feeling real but there was still the paperwork from the State of Ohio that had to be cleared.. We got to the vets office and they came out with all the signed paperwork saying they was allowed to enter the State of Ohio and I was sick from my nerves!! The I's were dotted and the T's were crossed!! THEY WERE GOING HOME WITH ME 😏 They held each other all the way home.. Kari feed them and tended to them along the way. They responded to us well from minute one starting the bond off great.. I forgot what a handful babies were.. #AngelBullock was a few days shy of 22 when she passed and #Bugs don't come in the house at all because he is out of control. so EVERYTHING was WAY different than I was use to.. They were chewing on the walls and furniture, climbing the blinds, in the cabinets, knocking over chairs, hanging off the ceiling fan, in the garbage, taken buttons out of the remotes, and the list goes on!! Somehow their mischievous ways has helped me through the worst state of depression I have ever been in.. This past year I have went from no reason to they need me!! I lost my purpose when I lost #MyAngel.. I had no idea how to find a new normal without her nor did I want to!! She took a LOT of me with her when she left!! Nancy said the reason she got Penny was she fell in LOVE with Angel.. I guess God was planning this whole thing out from way back then!! She could never be #AngelLouise nor would I want her to be!! BUT she is Penny Rose sent by the works of Angel and she brings LOVE and purpose into my life every day!! She also came with the bonus of a 8month old brother named Ralphie after the kid in the movie A Christmas Story.. He is very inquisitive and ADORABLE!! He pushes his luck with his sister yanking, biting, and pulling her tail like it's a personal toy of his.. She will get mad and go after him and he will scream and leap into my arms for safety 🤣 He really LOVEZ his sissy and has even come up and bit me on the cheek when I was holding her down given her meds one time.. they have each other's back!! When Craig and Nancy had to give them up this was a BIG concern for them!! They knew they were bonded and wanted them kept together!! Others wanted Penny as a breeder and had no use for Ralphie already even at his young age.. That's why they chose Misfitland as a forever home where they will always be near each other!! They say God works in mysterious ways and I am living proof of it!! He has used monkeys to transform me so many times in so many ways over my life and continues to do so daily!! For that I am THANKFUL 😊

I am #PennyRose #CuteStuff Bullock! I get by with way more than I should according to #TheHuman but I think she exaggerates things! I bet others get by with MORE! Most the time she is hugging me calling me cute stuff getting my belly and kissing all over me BUT the very next minute I can grab a dogs tail and she blows up like a loud horn that won't shut off! and and and I am always hearing #PennyRose GET DOWN OFF THOSE BLINDS as soon as I start having any fun! I mean she even complained about me putting on MY OWN chapstick! So I might've hit my teeth with it a few times! DON'T JUDGE ME! Sometimes I think she forgets her place around here. She is the feeder cleaner picker uper that is here to serve us and meet our needs! I cry often missing all my babies. Its a pain that cannot be explained and i would imagine that its close to that of having lost a human child. Im sure it will hurt forever because part of my heart is now missing. But then I see their videos and pics like this and it gives me a sense of pride and peace even through all the hurt knowing how loved and happy they are encourages me to know that I did the best for them. I knew that with my health and finance issues we couldn't give them everything they deserved but in reality we did. Thank you Teresa Bullock and Misfitland

I stand here trying to snap my bra as #PennyRose swings from the snaps I am trying to fasten right before #RalphieD goes running past me trying to hold onto the cats tail 🙄 when I start yellin at him to leave the cat alone #LouieRay starts banging his door on the barn to let them know he hears me and has my back 😎 in no time #Spanky starts yelping to let me know she is near him.. Not touching him just near him 😉 I go to put Spanky out so he isnt stressed and Penny jumps towards him still not touching him but acting like she was gonna.. Lying in bed with #RalphieAndPenny feeling #PennyRose gently groom through my hair with her itty bitty fingers remembering the times as a child I would not only pray but BEG God to just let my barbie doll come to life to be my friend.. I remember making deals with God that I would sneak enough food up to keep her alive and it would be our secret never letting anyone know if he would just do it for me.. This morning I realized he again answered my prayers from way back then in his time and his way.. I guess it has taken me 23 years of having monkeys to realize he substituted a hard plastic body for a cute fuzzy loving one 😊 and I had to wait till I left home because my parents would have never put up with a monkey and you surely can't keep them hid 🤣

I have to physically hold #PennyRose trapped down to syringe her medicine in her.. At that point she will get up run away then rub her mouth and tongue all over anything trying to wipe it out of her mouth.. She refuses to swallow!! It's unbelievable!! #RalphieD acts like he is missing out because I don't give it to him.. IT'S CRAZY!! i just pray I am getting enough in to do her good!! Tried to hold her down till she swallowed but got scared she was gonna chock.. I tasted the medicine and it's not that bad!! I think she just don't wanna do it because I want her to 🤔 she is a lil on the spoiled side 🥰

Talk about having each others back #RalphieAndPenny do!!! #PennyRose wasnt feeling well and seemed kinda congested 🤨 doc said I could give her some antibiotic that I had so I put it in a syringe to squirt it in her 😉 when I tried to give it to her she went APE 😲 Screaming and pulling fighting me in every way she could 🤔 next thing I know here comes #RalphieD up my arm across my shoulder and nips me in the cheek to tell me to leave his sissy alone 😏 it was cute cause he is so tiny but wont be cute here soon 🙄 guess I better remember this for any future forceful things I must do 😉 he is a lil defender of his family 😍

OMG they wont stop this morning!!! Penny is THROWING things!!! Had Macaques over 22 years and never had one pitch like this!! She throws like a capuchin!!! I had her tied to the bed and she was slinging toys at me one at a time 🤣the mess is not funny but her attitude is 😊 THEN I went to the kitchen to make a cereal bottle for them 😋suddenly I heard a bunch of banging 🤔 I instantly yelled PENNY ROSE STOP IT knowing it was her but the banging went on and sounded different from her normal shake 🤔🤔 by the time I made it to the room she had my big mirror torn off the wall and was bouncing it down behind the bed like she was hiding it from me 🙄🙄 I said PENNY WHAT DID YOU DO??? she then jumps to me grabbing a handful of hair with one hand and wrapping her other around my neck pulling me close and kissing my face... I cant stay mad at her no matter what she does!!! That one lil move she makes with that hugg kiss and hair tug melts heart 😍😍😍 they are both in the mood to wrestle and have landed themselves a free ride to the barn where they can get rid of the energy 😂🤣 Now #LouieRay and I are gonna do some laundry and clean up this monkey hood 🤣😂🤣

Penny woke up in a loving mood 😍its SOOOOOO hard to walk away from her 🙄 she is SO tiny and can be so gentle it's hard to believe she is real sometimes 😊 her lil touches go straight to my heart and she could get away with murder at that point 😎Ralphie got sick last night for no reason but seems fine today as he bounces off my head 😂 often I look into their lil faces and just thank God WE was the chosen ones who get to raise these precious little babies 😍😍😍

Each day I can feel the babies gettin stronger 😎 they are building muscle tone in their lil arms and legs 🤩 they are eating just about everything now or at least trying everything now 😋 I forgot how much they do play with their toys when this young 😍😍 they sleep right on my head but they are ready to head out to the barn the second they finish breakfast because they love the freedom they get there 😎 they seem to look up to #Bugs in a mighty way as though he is a ruler of some type 😂🤣 they are learning to be nice to the cats and dogs 🤪 and totally have me wrapped around their lil fingers😍
After a long day playing in the barn these rowdy kids are ready to settle down FINALLY!! I took them to the other room for more excitement but it seems to somehow settle them down to a manageable speed... Not sure what they thought I was going to do to them in that room but they didn't want to be there... Silly Monkeys

They pick and choose from nutz and seeds of all types THANKZ to the people who are helping raise them by sending from their wish list 😍😋😁 there is a variety of nuts seeds fruits and monkey Chow kept in front of them at all times AND NOW they even have access to the cricket tub 😋😋they are very curious about hunting the crickets but haven't quite gotten the taste for them just yet 🙄🙄 mealworms is another thing they are still working on but very curious about 🙄 it's just a matter of time before that is a regular part of their diet as well 😜😏they also enjoy playing with the new kitties 😉😁 but what Monkey don't like kitties 🤔🤨🤣

I had every intention of letting #RalphieAndPenny open their SPECIAL boxes that came for them tonight BUT poor Penny just isn't feelin it so we will wait till tomorrow and hope for a better day 😉 You would never know anything happen to Ralphie 😊 he is EVERYWHERE and even ate a lil 😋 Penny is sore and uncomfortable no appetite at all just wants to be held SOOOOOO that's what she is gettin😉😍 next couple of days will be rough on her but once she heals she is done with the hard stuff and just has to be a happy monkey the rest of her life 😉😊
Surgery is over!!! They are UTD on EVERYTHING and ready to heal!!!! There was $330.00 called in directly to the vet along with the fund raiser that not only covered both vet bills from this month but will also take care of the gasoline!!!! My name is Penny Rose.. I am a Java Macaque.. Where I was breed at they called me, a minature Java Macaque so I won’t get very big.. I come to live at Misfitland at age months on May 8, 2019 .. The trip was long.. I moved here from Virginia where my humans had some health issues and could no longer keep my brother, Ralphie, and I.. It was very sad leaving them.. They loved us MUCH.. So much that they made LOTZ of effort to make sure we would always be together on the same farm.. They heard and witnessed stories of monkeys being sold off as breeders and the boy monkeys become no good because there are so many so they get tossed from place to place having to defend themselves over and over they didn’t want that for us!! They found Misfitland for us to live happy ever after.. It’s a monkey rescue that tries to give us the best of the world we are use to along with the wild world our lil monkey bodies desire to have… This is day 5.. Hard to believe its already been that long.. We are both doin better with diaper changes and we have no problem eating.. Last night I even caught my first cricket… Didn’t eat it BUT I CAUGHT IT!! We now have a LARGE new play room where we can be diaper free and spend most of our time without getting into trouble.. We have a LOT of sunshine in the room along with our own TV, jungle gym, club house, and toys toys toys.. The jungle gym hangs sideways on the wall makin for better climbin and more floor room for a swimming pool in time.. This mornin I was sittin on the human taken my morning baby cereal bottle life was WONDERFUL when suddenly Sara a dog that lives here with us come walking up to the couch where we sat.. WHO WAS THIS DOG??? WHAT MADE HER THINK SHE HAS THE RIGHT TO COME UP HERE??? DID SHE NOT GET THE MEMO THAT I AM THE NEW QUEEN AROUND HERE??? MY PERMISSION MUST BE GRANTED BEFORE ENTRY!!! SOOOOOOO I grabbed her by the ear with my WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE tone of voice??? I was floored that we was even having the conversation when suddenly the human acts like ITS MYYYYY FAULT!!! My level of annoyed is through the roof at this point!!! Don’t tell me you don’t know how this works woman!! ANYHOOOOO I am in the big play room now because I guess she somewhat disagrees with my methods but whatever WE WILL SEE HOW THAT GOES!!! After arrival into the outdoor cage I tested out the double caging set up she has going on… See its set up that if we get out of one cage the other wall and door holds us in… So far that works.. She about had a panic attack when I escaped but quickly got over it when she realized everything is doin what its supposed to do.. I was back in the big pin watchin Bubble Guppies in no time.. Day 3 Louie Ray and Ralphie got into a disagreement of some type.. Still not sure what that was all about but they got over it.. I think Ralphie is just to clingy and mouthy myself but I guess Louie Ray has a mouth problem himself.. Must be a boy thing.. Ralphie and I went over to the barn to meet Bugs.. He sure is a BIG guy!!! We blew some kisses to each other but we wasn’t allowed to get to close because we are just SOOOO TINY next to him… Louie Ray and her went to Home Depot and got some chicken wire to put between the fence so we can spend some time over there with him in the big cage.. Together but not…
AND SO THE DRAMA BEGINS 🙄 Ralphie woke up feelin REALLY good 😁 he was jumping all over and had started playing with Sara who seemed to be enjoying his attention and playfulness 😎 suddenly Penny decided it was enough took off and jumped on Sara makin her I WILL GET YOU NOISE 🙄 Poor Sara come running for me because as soon as #Penny started #Ralphie started as well SOOOOOOOOOOOOO both #RalphieAndPenny are already out in the big cage gettin rid of the extra energy 😂🤣😂 GOD SHE REMINDS ME OF #MYANGEL 😍😍😍😍😍😍 #Memories
