Please understand that even though I have made it through MANY difficulties over the years NOTHING has ever hit as hard as this!! I have a LOT of trouble speaking about it so PLEASE READ the explanation that I took time to write through the tears and don't ask me to repeat it over and over again.. I MENTALLY CAN'T

My baby girl was MURDERED!! I am so sick to my stomach.. I have been having a HARD time dealing/comprehending all of this.. I wake up in panic attacks trying to get her help over and over!! I feel SO STUPID because I was CLUELESS when I got her to the fire department and told them the wrong thing that was wrong with her.. I thought it had to be the cleaner I was spraying she was having a reaction to.. They gave her oxygen and CPR but would not give her a shot even though I offered them my car, my home, my life JUST PLEASE GOD HELP HER!! Chief called someone else to convince me she was gone but I just couldn't believe it.. WHERE DID SHE GO?? She was happy and EXTREMELY HEALTHY one minute and jello in my hands not even trying to breathe the next!!! I was so upset that they wouldn't TRY the shot and had even removed the oxygen at this point.. I guess I was trying to blame them for not trying hard enough because it had only been MINUTES!! THEY HAD TO BE ABLE TO HELP HER!!! NOTHING HAPPENED!!! They were convinced she was gone but I was still working her heart and trying CPR as I got back into my car and I headed to the church where I continued to work her body and beg God for her to come back.. after a while her little eyes were starting to look dry so I took her home still working her chest and giving her air.. SHE HAD TO STILL BE THERE!!! NOTHING HAPPENED!! WHERE COULD SHE BE??? I put Vaseline in her little eyes like they do for surgery and I wrapped her in a heating blanket so she wouldn't drop in body temperature.. I swear I could hear a faint beat when I pressed my ear to her chest.. All the monkeys groomed her and I continued to work her chest till I feel asleep.. I woke suddenly SO UPSET I HAD FALLEN ASLEEP AND STOPPED WORKING HER HEART.. SHE NEVER CAME BACK!! GOD I HURT SO BAD!! SHE WAS MY BABY!! SHE WAS WITH ME 24/7 AND WAS ON MY BACK WHEN THIS HAPPENED!! HOWWWW??? WHYYYY??? WHAT????? I was cleaning the monkey barn and had went over to get me a pop and the sprayer from the house.. This was a normal routine to empty the barn.. Spray it down with water then add the disinfect and sanitizer.. I then allow it to sit for a few minutes and basically everything worshes away from there.. Ronnie was painting the 10 commandments from church and Alice Rae was giving him a hard time messing with his paint.. SHE WAS IN PERFECT HEALTH BEING THE PERFECT LITTLE MONKEY GIRL SHE WAS BUILT TO BE when I walked in the monkey barn and yet was dying/gone 3-4 minutes later as I sprayed the cages/floor down.. In my mind the room was EMPTY and she was on my shoulder the ENTIRE time she was in there so it had to be the chemicals that I had used in my sprayer was the ONLY thing I could wrap my mind around that could be wrong when I saw there was a problem.. That is what I told the fire department was wrong with her upon arrival there.. When chef asked how long has she been like this and I said JUST NOW I could see the doubt in his eyes but it was the truth.. As I was trying to absorb everything that following day I just couldn't grasp ANY of it!! It was the exact same chemicals I always clean with!! She wasn't gasping for air!! There was no twitching!! No ANYTHING!! I have grown up my entire life on a farm.. In the past 52 years sadly I have witnessed a lot of death.. I can honestly say I have never seen anything die like this!!! She become jello in my hands!! ALLLLLLL LIFE WAS GONE!!! OOOOOOOOOO GOD HELP ME UNDERSTAND!!!! I had bought green fly traps for a USDA inspection that I had coming up.. The green trap had bowls at the bottom and the instruction said bait was the key!! I googled best fly bait and there's a golden stuff that came up as super high rated by everyone.. I got excited because I remember years ago I had bought some and never got around to getting something to put it in.. I went and got it and put it in the trays as recommended.. I hung three of them up and I never thought anything else about it.. The stuff said that it was safe for barn use in which is what I was doing.. I had it hanging from the ceiling out of reach.. I know she obviously did have to reach in there but the point is I DID AS INSTRUCTED and it MURDERED my baby!! If I had been a mother with a human baby in a backpack the exact same thing would have happened and THEN people would care.. When I started realizing it HAD to be the fly bait I called Dr Jodi with my theory.. Her first words was no it was probably a sting.. I told her I seen her get stung in the kitchen and she had a sore hand but that's all.. She, a EXTREMELY INTELLIGENT WOMAN, pulled up the fly bait and said to me "I would eat a handful of this and it wouldn't hurt me.. It's focused on flies!!" I asked are you sure Dr. Jodi?? I told her I saw where someone had found their dogs head still in the dish licking it up it had died so fast!! I NEVER SAW ANYTHING DIE LIKE THIS!!! I told her.. She said wait a minute let me look at it closer.. Then she starts saying OH, OH NO, OHH YEAH I AGREE!! She must've gotten her little hand in it.. She is shocked by the potency of this as well.. The label even says it can be scattered around the barnyard!! This would kill the wild birds, my chickens and anything else that ate it YET ADVERTISED FOR BARNS!! That's not all it gets worse!! Rabbit found something that said that IF a mouse eats a fly that ate the bait the mouse will die too!! That means EVEN IF this is kept out of reach it can still kill your pets!! Chickens, wild birds, KIDZ, and the monkeys eat dead flies ALLLLLLLLLLL the time!! THIS STUFF SHOULD BE ILLEGAL!!! I CAN'T EVEN IMAGINE ALL THE MURDERING THIS PRODUCT DOES!! THIS STUFF SHOULD NOT BE ON THE MARKET!! AT MINIMUM YOU SHOULD HAVE TO BE A LICENSED PROFESSIONAL TO HANDLE IT!!!! If I was a serial killer I could wipe out crowds of people just by dropping it into their drink and it would take them forever to figure out what I was doing.. #AliceRae was WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY more than my emotional support.. She was also the FUTURE of Misfitland!! She already had a following of people that LOVED her VERY MUCH and wanted to be a part of her growing!! I wake up CRYING and trying to save her OVER AND OVER!! I suffer from C-PTSD.. It makes it difficult to function some times.. Please forgive me for not being able to communicate about this.. I am still trying to figure out how to understand it myself.. EVERYONE here has had an EXTREMELY HARD time absorbing this tragedy.. PLEASE PRAY FOR US

FYI my #AliceRae is a GENIUS!!! She is 9 months old and only been here around Humans since she was 5.5 months old.. She watches #GunnerBoeh get his silver bucket and bring it to us when he wants what we have or some whipped cream in it.. Just a minute ago little bitty Alice Rae came across the kitchen floor with a silver bucket wanting something in it!! SHE IS BRILLIANT I SWEAR!! #ILoveHer #TheGoodStuff

#AliceRae #TheMissing #IAm!! SOOOOOOOOO #TheHuman about cut a hole into the wall trying to find me when I was playing hide and seek last night!! #ISwear!! Honestly you can't make this stuff up!! What happened was she had been out push mowing our pens.. She was #SuperDuper tired, as always, and came in to make our dinner.. #GunnerBoeh and I was totally happy to see her and was climbing all over the counter and her.. #AbbyLouise started yelling for a bottle so I helped her make her one before diving on to Gunner's back and starting our game of chase.. We was running and sliding across the floor with our toys to make noise and jumping and climbing across our swings enjoying life waiting for dinner to be served.. She had to wash and clear the counter along with the other normal stuff servants needs to do before tending to their masters.. She was busy and didn't even realize we had quit playing chase and moved on to the next adventure of the evening.. OOOOOOPPPPSSSSS I made one little slip and suddenly I was #STUCKDELUXE!! I MEAN HARD CORE SERIOUS STUCK STUCK STUCK DELUXE!! I started calling for #MyHuman!! She KNOWS my HELP ME MOMMY cry because sometimes I get my lead hung up and call for her.. She instantly turn around saying OH NO DOES MY BABY ALICE RAE NEED HELP?? She walked in to the living room looking for me.. I kept crying answering her but she couldn't find me.. She went all the way to the porch where she could no longer hear me before heading back through the living room and kitchen to her room looking up down over and under everything along the way.. I was doing my part responding back to her as she came back out from her room where she could no longer hear me to the kitchen.. At this point she was walking faster, getting louder, hushing everyone else starting to allow her imagination to run off.. She started screaming for Ronnie to come help her as she turned off the fan and television.. #RonnieBullock came running and he too could HEAR me but couldn't locate me whatsoever.. In a panic the Human ripped the stove outta the hole it sits in.. She opened all the doors and drawers under the counter and sent Ronnie outside to see if I had somehow got to there..By this time my Humans voice is sounding Shakey.. She had even climbed up on top of the counter top to see if there was ANY way I could have fallen between/down/behind the cabinets SOMEHOW?? but everything was sealed tight!! She looked like a hound dog down on all 4s trying to figure out where my cry/answer was coming from!! I was watching her thinking HOW DO YOU NOT SEE ME?? Ronnie came back in laughing because he scared #RaymondArnold when he ran out looking for me.. She kinda hurt his feelings which wasn't nice of her at all and she feels bad about it now because she said BUT DID YOU HEAR ALICE RAE FROM THERE??? He says No and she says OKAY!! I GUESS THE ONLY THING LEFT TO DO IS CUT THIS WALL OUT!! SHE ISN'T MOVING!! THE SOUND IS STAYING RIGHT IN THIS AREA!! I was looking at them both thinking HOWWWWWWW DO YOU NOT SEE ME??? Suddenly the Human grabs the potato bin and the #MonkeyChow bin and slings them outta the way.. She jumps down on the floor and starts pounding on the wall trying to feel where studs are located and such.. I was watching with disgust when she said IT'S OKAY #BABYGIRL!! WE'RE GOING GET YOU OUT OF THERE!! Once again I answered her with my adorable little #HelpMe cry.. Suddenly her head spun around like an owl and she says to Ronnie DID YOU HEAR THAT?? SHE MOVED!! I was thinking DUH!!!!! YOU SHOVED ME ACROSS THE FLOOR WOMAN!! Then FINALLY she looked right at me!! What happened was I wanted a #MonkeyBiscuit and decided to get it myself since she was busy and tired.. Somehow I lost my footing and landed down inside the container and the lid closed on top of me.. My Mouthy #Humommy was like WHY DIDN'T YOU JUST PUSH THE LID BACK UP?? IT WASN'T LATCHED.. I looked at her with my I am 9 months old lady face!! She knows I have a lot to learn.. GIVE ME A CHANCE!! I AM JUST A BABY IN A REALLY BIG WORLD!! Us #MonkKidz enjoy our monkey Chow/Biscuits.. We like both the new world monkey chow like our GREAT FRIEND AND VOLUNTEER #VICKIGAULT introduced us to and the Zupreme Primate Diet we have always been given.. Needless to say it is QUITE EXPENSIVE and ANY AND ALL HELP TO BUY IT AND OTHER FOOD/SUPPLIES IS MUCH NEEDED AND SOOOOOOOOO APPRECIATED

Alice Rae is 7.5 months old now.. She has been here almost 2 months now.. She is really coming out of her shell and starting to trust humans.. Alice Rae was going to be left on her monkey momma forever.. The lady who owned her and her mommy enjoys her monkeys from the outside of the pen.. She was never going to separate them.. Unfortunately the mother monkey named Coconut passed away and Alice wouldn't let go of her dead body.. That's how she ended up here.. She was scared and sad at first.. It took a while for her to start to trust me.. Over the weeks she has learned that I am here to protect her and keep her safe.. She now runs back to me and yells for me if she wants something.. Capuchin Monkey Alice Rae was out and about shopping for cricket food and stumbled upon some birds, hamsters, mice, and fish.. It's so fun watching her be amazed by nature.. Monkeys are a lot like cats and dogs when it comes to moving objects.. If it moves it has their attention!! If it runs they MUST chase it!! IF it runs back towards them they often run the other way.. What should monkeys eat?? A healthy diet is full of things that God intended us to have.. Monkeys hunt up to 7 hours per day.. They don't sit down and eat meals like us.. Instead they hunt looking for plants, bugs, birds, eggs, and other tasty things they can find.. The hunt is as important as the meal.. The hunt is stimulating to their enrichment providing hours of something to do. .. Little Alice Rae is 6months old and just learning WHAT'S good for her and how to find it. She is enjoying the learning process and I am enjoying teaching her even though I am the one who gets to clean up her mess.. She owns me.. Life is too short to fit in!!

Little #AliceRae is starting to accept me as her #Humom.. It has been 10 days since she moved in to #Misfitland and had never been held by Humans before that day.. I have done a LOT of sucking up and it appears to be working.. She stays with me 24/7 and I think she enjoys the closeness and protection.. She goes to the vet tomorrow to get her own personal microchip number and blood work to make sure she is completely healthy.. I think she is to young to be fixed but if that is possible that too will happen.. If you would like to help with Alice's vet care, daily care, and upkeep it will be more than appreciated.. Together there are SO MANY MORE MONKEYS TO RESCUE!! Join us in changing life one monk at a time..

They call me #AliceRae but I think #Cinderella is more fitting!! Seems like I am either helping with dishes, laundry, garbage, shoveling Mudd, carrying wood, , filling feeders, cleaning funk, or sweeping a floor.. You wouldn't BELIEVE the time we spend sweeping floors!!! I don't even know WHY we sweep them!! As we are sweeping #PennyRose, #RalphieD, #GunnerBoeh and sometimes even #AbbyLouise and #BugsBullock are dropping things and messing it back up!! Seriously!! AT THE SAME TIME!! I know I am little but I already understand THAT is a IMPOSSIBLE win.. I have been here 9 days today.. It wasn't always this easy to just #HangOut and play with my toys like this.. I admit I was SO SCARED when I was abducted from my Father and Auntie and given #NoChoice about moving to #Misfitland I didn't know WHAT to do!! I mean I know Daddy and Auntie bit my nose leaving a hole from their canines but that wasn't really their fault.. Mommy was cold and #SuperSleepy.. She REALLY needed a shower!! I held on and held on to her but she never seemed to wanna wake up.. I got REALLY HUNGRY because Mommy's milk wouldn't work and she didn't take me up to the feeding and watering place to eat for a LONG time.. It was scary having to travel to the upstairs without Mommy and I wanted to hold on to someone.. I missed Mommies body being warm and I just wanted to have that feeling again!! Auntie was pretty good about tending to me and so was Daddy BUT they didn't want to carry me ALL the time like I was begging them to do.. Monkey discipline can often be extremely painful and sometimes as life-changing as blind in one eye or missing limbs.. In this case they could have seriously pierced my nasal cavity and caused me breathing problems for the rest of my life but THANK GOD I AM FINE!! Just saying could and DOES happen .. I over heard #TheHuman talking about the #WildMonkeys in #KLMalaysia and how beat up and sad some of them are.. She said when they are Hungry they fight over the food as though they are fighting for their life.. I guess really they are.. I am so Thankful Daddy and Auntie didn't do permit damage to me.. I realize even though they do love me BUNCHES they could have seriously Harmed or even Killed me without Mommy's protection.. Hanging on my #NewHuman reminds me of hanging on Mom.. I am feeling MUCH SAFER and more comfortable without my head covered these past couple days.. I still duck and hide now and then but overall I just #HangAround and learn #HowTo stuff.. I have been working on training #MyHuman on how I like my water served to me.. See where I came from we #CapuchinMonkey's had our own sink where we could turn the water on and sometimes back off.. Since I was born I have always cupped my little handing the faucet water stream to make the water flow to #MyMouth while hanging from my Mommies chest.. THAT'S HOW I WANT MY WATER SERVED!! I don't want it in the bottle like my other stuff!! I want her to lean over the sink and let me put my adorable little hand in the flow and get my own drink!! That's how Mommy taught me and THAT'S what needs to happen!! She is picking up what I am laying down slowly.. I have noticed a few times today she has remembered to offer it without me having to pull towards it first.. I am starting to think she might be somewhat trainable.. Only time will tell.. Now we must go scrub #MonkeyFunk!! Tomorrow is the monthly meeting for #MisfitlandMonkeyRescue and it will probably last a long time JUST BECAUSE OF ME so we need to Get ER Done today.. THANKZ FOR READING

#AliceRae #IAm!! I spend my time hanging out in #TheHuman's hoodie.. She wears her shirt backwards keeping me close to her heart and it gives me a secure feeling while I learn this #NewLife I am experiencing.. I am getting more and more use to things.. I have started inspecting #MyHuman.. I softly reach out and touch her face and play with her hair.. I have slept close to her neck 2 nights in a row.. I don't start out sleeping there but I worked my way up there as the night goes on.. I have had MANY MANY MANY chances to sneak off and even started to a couple times but changed my mind and went back to #ThatHuman before going to far.. I know she will LET me go and that's good enough for me.. I don't like to feel trapped but I do enjoy feeling LOVED.. I went bye bye yesterday.. I took #GunnerBoeh to #HisHuman's and was feeling pretty confident walking in their house UNTIL #GUNNER STARTED SCREAMING AT THE TOP OF HIS LUNGS!! I covered my head and hid DEEP in my pouch.. I didn't know WHAT just happened to him but OMGOSH I didn't want it to happen to me.. My Human says it's okay and that he does that EVERY time he sees his Humans.. She said it's his way of saying he is SUPER DUPER HAPPY.. I say he shouldn't be allowed to scare me like that!! GEEZZZZZ!! Then I went grocery shopping.. I picked me out a seafood package that has shrimp, lobster, octopus, and muscle in it.. She gathered food, fruits, cleaning supplies and goodies for everyone.. She also grabbed me some newborn diapers because my bottom is So Tiny and I can't share the others diapers Debra Ann Weiss sends for the others.. Then we picked Gunner up and headed home.. After getting home she put those rubber boots on and we tracked back and forth 50 times through MASSIVE MUDD carrying everything inside so she could put it all away.. IT WAS EXHAUSTING.. I had to take a nap!! FINALLY she put some pieces of my seafood bag in the warm water.. It turns out I LOVE octopus!! Well that's what she thinks it is.. She doesn't do seafood and don't know much about it.. My #MonkSister #PennyRose is a true inspiration for me.. She LOVEZ me and protects me.. She grooms me and holds my bottle.. She let's me hugg her like a mommy would.. She even holds my bottle and often taste test it for me.. The Human is always yelling #DamnItPenny because she REALLY likes to grab her stuff and RUN.. I think it looks like a SUPER FUN GAME.. Who knows one day I might even try to play.. I think I could be faster than that

At only 5.5 months old black cap Capuchin monkey Alice Rae already has developed the instinct to bathe herself in fresh onions just like they do in the wild.. I seen somewhere that some times they even offer onions to each other as love offerings. Isn't Alice the cutest thing you ever saw?? I LOVE her SO MUCH ALREADY.. She Owns Me.. Life is too short to fit in!!

#AliceRae busy today I was!! It's a lot of work being a pouch monkey!! First I helped feed the pigs and collect the eggs.. When we came out there was a #SketchyCow looking at me!! I hid under the bag for a moment till we passed him.. I held on tight as she dug the covered PVC pipe.. There was a couple big rocks we dug out that was a lot of extra work but I held on tight and made it through.. Then I helped #TheHuman take down the the temporary fence and roll it up.. It was a MESS but we untangled what had been wadded up and got it ready to put away.. I also help build my first fire today!! We picked things up and threw them in a big pile.. There are broken tree limbs EVERYWHERE so this is gonna take a while to get done!! I worked hard!! I helped carry some papers down to ignite it with.. There was so many of them we had to use my head as a balance board to keep from dropping them.. I didn't mind.. I like to be hid and it was like my own personal hide out.. She told me that one day #GunnerBoeh and I will run wild and free in this #NewFence area but I took a good look at the Mudd in there.. I'm not playing in THAT!!! #CapuchinMonkeyPrincess #IAm

My name is #AliceRae.. I LOVE my warm Simalic bottle along with the baby oatmeal in it!! I LOVE cucumbers and slices of apples.. I LOVE peas and shrimp.. I drink LOTZ of water and I talk a lot... Life has changed drastically for me in the past week and a half.. I am learning a LOT of new things.. Like how to take a bottle and wear a diaper..I learned how to take a bath and dry off with a towel.. I am a GIFTED when it comes to climbing and jumping I just don't know how I keep finding myself cornered?? Everyone here seems to LOVE me and I am KINDA starting to like them too.. Who knows before long I just might wanna sit out there with my head uncovered.. Only time will tell

My name is #AliceRae born September 1, 2021 to a black cap capuchin monkey Mommy who LOVED ME VERY MUCH!! She was a GREAT Mommy who carried me everywhere and taught me all she could until she got sick one day.. #TheHuman we owned tried to get her help but Mommy left for heaven before Doctor's could come in.. I stayed with Mommy waiting for her to come back but that never happened.. I AM SO SCARED!! #ThoseHumans was trying to get to my Mommy's body but my Daddy was having NO PART OF THAT HAPPENING!! My Daddy is SUPER STRONG and EXTREMELY PROTECTIVE!! It took a crew of people to make all the elements to aline up perfectly in order to get to my Mommy.. I was SO PETRIFIED that day!! Until then I had only played with humans from behind a fence and hanging safely off my Mom.. That Humom was SUPER NICE and often gave me shrimp and berries.. She always talked nice and sweet and even called me #Peanut.. See my Mommy's name was #TheCoconut and I was #ThePeanut.. I plan to keep that nickname throughout my life!! js.. BUT THIS!! THIS WAS INSANE!! THESE PEOPLE WAS IN MY AREA NOT BEHIND THE FENCE WHERE THEY BELONGED &&& MOMMY STILL WASN'T REACTING &&& DADDY WAS GONE AND SO WAS MY AUNTIE!! I WAS PETRIFIED!! When they found Mommy they wrapped her up and took her away.. I watched from a distance not understanding exactly what was happening.. They opened up a big box with a door and peep holes.. It had a big fluffy blanket in it and a couple toys.. I continued to watch till they turned and looked at me!! At that point I SERIOUSLY wanted my parents.. THE PANIC WAS UNDISCRIABLE!! I ran as fast as I could to get away from the #SketchyHumans that was on the wrong side of my fence but despite my best efforts I ran into the end of the bookshelf forcing me to JUMP.. I was heading over that Angela woman's head when she caught me in mid air!! OMG WHAT WAS HAPPENING TO ME?? WHYYYY?? WHERE'S DADDY AND AUNTIE?? I WANTED MY MOMMY MORE THAN EVER!! Now EVERYTHING is different!!! I haven't seen Daddy in days &&& where's Auntie?? I keep looking for them and of course longing for Mommy!! The new Human can tell how scared I am and keeps saying it's gonna be alright.. She just doesn't understand how scary this is!! There is a fellow monk here named #GunnerBoeh.. I can understand what he's saying but he is a big boy and I have been disciplined before by Daddy and Auntie so I am kinda worried about getting to close to him.. There is a Java Macaque monkey here named #AbbyLouise that I really like but she only let's me sit beside her.. She doesn't hold me like Mommy did and that's what I really want her to do.. The new Humom has a sling around her neck I do enjoy riding in I just wish I knew if I could fully trust her or not.. She does kiss and groom me a lot and I really like that.. I enjoy the bottles she makes me and the food she brings me BUT this having to wear a diaper thing is a bit ridiculous!! I mean what if my butt itches?? How am I to scratch through that thing?? She did quit putting that long leash on me but now she has to GRAB me and that is SUPER DUPER SCARY!! I am starting to think that MAYBE she is semi okay but not letting my guard down.. I mean SHE STOLE ME FROM MY HOUSE, MY DADDY, AND MY AUNTIE!! WHAT'S NEXT?? She tells me I will see them again SOON and that they will always be a part of my life but it seems like it's been forever already and no sign of anyone.. We brought the bags with my Mommy with us when we left that day.. It rained ALL DAY yesterday but today we are burying her where I will one day be playing in the yard with friends.. That way we can always be together.. Say a prayer for me.. I miss my family terribly.. I know my new family keeps telling me they love me but that doesn't change the fact that I love my real Family and want them back!!

Here is #AliceRae's first bath, her first bottle, her first night hanging out with #AbbyLouise, and her first time eating with her older brother #GunnerBoeh.. #Gunner is totally infatuated with her.. She is a bit leery of him.. You will notice a little puncture wound on her nose.. That most likely came from one of the other Capuchins canines that she was in with.. It might take her a bit to trust Gun but I have no doubt they're going to be best of friends!! A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE ASKING WHY I DIDN'T TAKE THE OTHER TWO MONKEYS.. The emergency was getting the baby away from them and the proper nutrition that it's still needs to be getting because it's so young.. The hope is to some day bring the other two adults here BUT HOUSING IS NECESSARY BEFORE THAT CAN BE DONE!! They have an owner and she wasn't planning to give them or the baby up.. It's just after the mommy died she got extremely concerned about nutrition factor and wanted to do what was best for the baby.. She herself is not in good enough Health to be able to tend to a baby monkey.. She had NO INTENTION OF SEPARATING MOMMY AND BABY so there wasn't a plan for raising it outside of mom's care.. Due to health reasons in time the remaining two will be moved over to here but that can't happen without the proper shift caging and such so we are governed by funds as to timing.. When Rescuing animals especially primates but happens VERY OFTEN even with dogs, cats, birds, and even fish people keep them when they are young but by the time they are adults they are unwilling or unable to handle the adult they grow into and a "RE-HOME" situation comes up...When I decided to dedicate the rest of my life to building a way to rescue monkeys AND MOST IMPORTANTLY building a way for the #MonkKidz brought to #MisfitlandMonkeyRescue to be able to support themselves by the time I die I figured I would be dealing with a couple different categories of people traits.. #1 the "MOUTHY TEENAGERS" age 3 and up in the #MonkHood and the "HARDEN CRIMINALS" ages 8 and up dead set in their ways determined to push their luck till they win!!! I really didn't think I would ever get the pleasure of raising a baby again.. I had long ago realized how blessed I was to have the resources to provide a lasting home to #AngelBullock #JuniorG and #BugsBullock making up my mind that I would never buy another baby.. Just like the dog pounds are overflowing with dogs and cats the Monkey Rescues are the same EXCEPT there are very limited rescues out there for monkeys and the MOST of them DON'T BELIEVE IN GIVEN THEM THE THINGS THEY GREW UP WITH AND DESIRE.. They want them to be #WildAnimals without human interaction.. This breaks my heart because MOST of these animals have known NOTHING BUT human interaction often sending them into a state of Depression so deep they have been known to starve themselves and die from sadness... I wanted to change the course of their life.. I wanted to build a place where they are fixed and only living there life out the best they can.. Where they will have access to go out side to hunt, climb, swing, swim, sunbathe, feel the breeze, etc with the option to go back inside ANY time they want to lay in their beds/boxes with their blankets and stuffies/toys and watch TV, eat, sleep, groom play and feel safe.. I never thought I would get to raise a baby again because this is when they are cute and everyone wants them.. More so then that they aren't cheap and people usually want to try to at least get some of their money back.. For these reasons I figured I would be dealing with older more aggressive monkeys from then on out.. Then God blessed us with not only one but 2 baby Macaques!! I WAS HAPPILY SHOCKED TO GET THE CALL ABOUT #PENNYROSE AND #RALPHIED.. Penny Rose was 13 months and Ralphie D was 8 months old.. The odds of babies that young coming here was slim to none and ONLY HAPPENED because more so than getting the money back the owners wanted them kept together forever because they were bonded so tightly.. That's why they choose to send them here.. They choose love over money.. Now we have been blessed with #ThisGirl who is only 5.5 months old.. WOW!! I can't believe how lucky we are to get to be #HERS.. Again the owner could have chosen to get close to $20,000. out of her but was WAY more interested in a permanent home with a social group and TONZ of attention for the rest of her life.. NO going into #RescuingMonkeys isn't a profitable job like selling monkeys would be and no it's not a fancy place with a big fancy appearance but it's a safe place for monkeys of any age to live their lives out and that makes me so #PROUD

WHAT A DAY TODAY HAS BEEN!!! WERE HOME!! Before I get into today's events let me start by saying WE ONLY RESCUE MONKEYS..THIS BABY IS HERE FOR THE REST OF IT'S LIFE.. As soon as physically possible it will be fixed and unable to create life beyond its own.. When I started #MisfitlandMonkeyRescue I wanted it to be an HONEST educational resource about life with a monkey.. SOMETHING THAT WAS UNAVAILABLE FOR ME WHEN I WANTED A MONKEY.. There was the PRO monkey people and the was the ANTI monkey people but all that done was force me to make a decision that if I didn't live where I live and work where I used to work I wouldn't have been able to provide the forever home that I have for the babies I thought would be "Different".. OBVIOUSLY IT'S NOT ALL GOOD AND OBVIOUSLY IT'S NOT ALL BAD BUT HONESTLY IT'S WAY MORE THAN ANYONE TALKS ABOUT OR EVER COMES CLOSE TO REALIZING.. The other part of #Misfitland is to provide a place for the monkeys that find themselves domesticated and spoiled to escape to and live their life out with the things they were raised with along with the freedom to go out and be the monkey they were designed to be.. We was able to capture the 5.5 month old Capuchin monkey we got the call about that it's Mommy passed away and it was clinging to her body today.. It actually went pretty well due to the quick hands of Angela Metcalf!! The hardest part was getting the other 2 large monkeys away from the place to trap the baby in a private area.. We finally got them away and was able to block it into the basement.. When Angela and I entered the room it was in you could see it's fear.. It started running back and forth across these bookshelf things till it dead ended to the back of the shelving and had to go forward towards Angela!! Without missing a beat Angela snatched it in mid air.. I ran to her to help get a better grip as you can imagine the squirming going on!! We quickly went to the pet taxi and placed it in there..As soon as we got home we offered a bottle till it was totally refused.. Then it was bath time.. I ran a sink full of warm water and lowered him down into it.. He instantly LOVED it.. Earlier that day Angela was saying how when she got Annie, her capuchin, that she was told it was a boy but it turned out to be a girl.. I was thinking oh wow how cool would that be to happen here.. So after the bath I asked Angela to check.. She lifted the tail and said NOPE TERESA I THINK IT'S A BOY.. Oh well.. I was already IN LOVE regardless!! Then Angela took him to put the diaper on and I started getting the other monkz something to eat.. Then suddenly Angela says OOOOOOO NOOO TERESA!!!! I THINK YOU GOT YOURSELF A LITTLE GIRL!!!! After a double check it was discovered that she is female!! Capuchins are hard to tell.. ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY ARE YOUNG!! She is laying here on my chest.. She is scared of course but only bit me once.. She is trying to trust me but it will take time.. She misses her Mommy.. I have been calling her Alice
