My name is #PennyRose they also call me the #PrettyPenny and sometimes they even call me their Pooping Penny but we won’t talk about that today.. Today I just want to say I LOVE MY Ronald Bullock more than anyone could realize!!! He is #MyBubby and I WILL protect him from everything!! When I hear him coming I jump up and down with pure joy and excitement because I know #HeLpvesMe too!! #RonnieBullock is always willing to give me a bottle when I ask him and he always allows me to eat his favorite food even if I eat it all… He tells me that I am beautiful and smart always making me feel like a million bucks and he totally melts when I groom him.. As a matter of fact I can start to groom him and put him to sleep before I sneak away and get into his bookbag.. I like to check his homework for him and make sure he has the needed supplies.. I also remove anything I don’t think he needs anymore.. I do allow the little #MightyMaurice to be around as the Bubby and I play but he is so tiny and hyper how could you not??? ANYHOOOOO Ronnie says I need to make sure that #TheHuman does his laundry today so I better get to sorting things out and helping her or she will never get it done.. REMINDER: #LifeIsTooShortToFitIn

Is it just me or does #GypsySue already appear older????? Swear it feels like I just got home from picking her up from Pennsylvania and she was given me my first BIG HUGG!!! It was #PRICELESS and made ALL the effort of working with the authorities to get her out of jail and the long drive and money worth it!!! #GippySue is the sweetest and most precious #RhesusMacaque EVER!!! It’s SOOOOOO CUTE when she starts to do something that she isn’t supposed to do and I say AAAATTTT or GIPPPPPPY WHAT ARE YOU DOIN???? Because she will instantly STOP and RUN to me wrapping her little arms and legs around me hugging me as tight as she can with those precious little lips smacking kisses as though she is saying “I AM SO SORRY MOM!!! PLEASE DON’T BE MAD!!! I LOVE YOU MY HUMAN”… She totally MELTS MY HEART!!!!!!! I am praying to God that the authorities revise the fence laws and we can build them a REAL FENCE without a top on it that will give the #Macaque’s a REAL HABITAT that will meet their actual needs for hunting and exercising that they deserve.. I thank God for the pen we do have that does give them a tad bit of hunting space and sunshine but we all know that no amount of play toys can possibly provide equal to what nature can provide.. They deserve real trees to climb and branches to jump on back and forth on… OMGOSH ITS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO AMAZING TO WATCH THEM JUMP OUT NEAR THE EDGE OF THE BRANCHES AND LET IT FLING THEM BACK INTO THE AIR TO CATCH A DIFFERENT BRANCH AND KEEP ON GOING!!!! That of course is when they are younger because just like us the older and heavier they get they start figuring out it takes longer to heal and become less daring.. HOWEVER THEY ALWAYS LOVE SITTING IN THE TREES IN THE SUNSHINE!!! Heck #BugsBullock spent so much time sitting on a special branch that over the years the branch formed to fit his butt almost creating a like a swing would be but didn’t move of course.. You can’t mimic nature no matter how hard you try and try deserve to be MONKEYS as well as they DESERVE access to the #Human amenities that they were raised to enjoy.. Say a prayer that the #ODA will find it in their hearts to make the fencing law to include a large area for primates that can be held with electric to keep them from escaping.. Truth is when the area is large enough they will not be trying to escape.. They quickly learn not to climb the fence and start learning hunting areas.. They can have a pond for swimming, fishing, hunting, and kayak for floating.. The trees provide hunting, exercise, safety, and natural enrichment for grooming or napping.. The large grass areas with blueberries, tomatoes, peppers, etc growing randomly is amazing hunting and foraging for them.. I could sit here for HOURS listing was that it took away from the #MonkKidz when they changed the law saying they had to have a roof.. Monkeys are held ALL OVER THE WORLD with fence and electric I don’t understand why they made the caging laws that take away from the animals NEEDS but let’s pray that they are going to reconsider it for us!!! In my opinion when WHATEVER it is your providing a home to can be from one side of their living space to the other in less than a second IT ISNT BIG ENOUGH!! Heck both #Gypsy and #PennyRose can be across ANY pen “other than the 3/4 acre capuchin pen that isn’t roofed so they don’t get to explore” in less than a second.. It breaks my heart knowing that they deserve more AND WE HAVE THE SPACE FOR THEM TO HAVE MORE but it is not lawful for us to give it to them because they have to be roofed.. The saddest part of this story is that the reason these CAGING LAWS were put into effect was a GUY TURNED LOOSE A BUNCH OF EXOTIC ANIMALS HERE IN OHIO AND A BUCH WERE SHOT VS CAPTURED!! #HEARTBREAKING for the animals!! The HUMAN OPENED THE GATES AND TURNED THEM LOOSE!!!! The HUMAN caused the death of MANY of the animals and the HUMANS are still punishing the ANIMALS!!! The caging was NEVER the problem!!! HUMANS are always the problem!!! I pray one day that the HUMANS get their minds right and start using their heads for more than a place to carry earbuds!!! #RantOver #SorryNotSorry #LifeIsTooShortToFitIn #TheyOwnMe

Roam wasn’t built in a day and neither was Misfitland Monkey Rescue BUT WE ARE STILL TRYING!!!! Got everyone to the vet and home Wednesday GEEEZZZZEEEE WHAT A DAY!!!! Great News about the #ReesieCup vet said he didn’t feel a hole and he must just be gaining weight and that’s fat I am seeing that I was fearful was a hernia.. If you could see his goofy butt 12 foot in the air feet behind him chest out and arms pulled behind him swinging back and forth for no reason at all other than he CAN you would understand why it was SO easy for me to think that was what was happening to him… Anyway he is up to date on all shots and got to have a super exciting adventure including sleeping in the living room with me and riding on the back of the 6X4 Gator for a lift over to the trailer.. He seems to have enjoyed his adventure and I am EXTREMELY PLEASED that I don’t have to worry about confining him while he heals!!! I wasn’t looking forward to him being ripped open and healing up!! I hate that part of this job!!! It’s super hard to tell them NO!!! I am just not good at it!!! lol.. #GypsySue done WONDERFUL with her surgery and shots!! I noticed today that she is climbing up MUCH EASIER and I saw her sorta running as she was moving towards me across her outside pen where she was out hunting.. No worries at all about her Thank God!!! #MightMaurice don’t even realize his balls are gone, he has a chip in his back, and that he got shots!! He has been running at 210 mph ever since the drugs wore off.. lol.. #DieselDog also lost his balls, got shots, and a microchip… He too has no memory of the event and is bouncing off walls doing WONDERFUL… Then came the #BabyBee!!! You remember her right??? She is #LouieRay’s sister that looks and acts just like him.. GOSH I LOVE THAT LITTLE GIRL!!! She spent her day volunteering with me helping to do laundry, the dishes, and cleaning up at His Hands Extended Sanctuary while the others were being worked on.. She entertained the other workers and helped supervise them from on top the pile of blankets watching them work out the window.. She is SO PERFECT!!! I forgot my phone at home so I didn’t get the photos of her working so hard but she sure was precious!!! Then they came out to get her for her surgery.. She needed fixed and shots as well.. When Doc first opened her up it was a bit confusing because her ovaries were SO INFLATED THAT THEY LOOKED LIKE A BLADDER VS A OVARY!!! After realizing that the huge mass was the ovary and the shock that came with that realization had past he said now let’s see the best way to get it out.. As he said that and twisted it a LITTLE BIT trying to get a better look and BOOM and I do mean BOOOOOM it EXPLODED!!!!!!!!!! When that happened Doc said that we saved her LIFE that day!!! He said that IF THAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED INSIDE OF HER THAT SHE WOULD HAVE BEEN DEAD WITHIN 24 HOURS!!!!!! 24 HOURS!!!! OMGOSH!!! What a nightmare that would have been!!! She was able to be spade and is now up to date on shots HOWEVER SHE HAS TO GO BACK IN A MONTH!! It is feared that #BeatriceDay also has #BrestCancer!!! When we go back he wants to do a biopsy to make sure of what it is BUT AFTER LOOKING AT THE STUFF HE PULLED OUT WITH THE SYRINGE HE SUSPECTS THATS WHAT IT IS!!!!!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PRAY FOR HER AND THE #CANCER THAT I FEAR SHE IS FIGHTING!!!

TOMORROW IS A HUGE DAY FOR US!!! I have been working hard to make a way to take #ReesieCup to the vet.. He has what appears to be a hernia that I am wanting Doc to look at ALONG WITH #GypsySue and the #MightyMaurice needing fixed.. The #DieselDog is also getting clipped!! I am going to pick up #LouieRay’s sister #BeatriceDay and taking her to be fixed as well.. This makes the driving alone 3.5 hours EACH WAY so we have 7 hours of just drive time to look forward to.. YES I AM BEING SARCASTIC!! I have not gotten to set up the REAL SWIMMING POOLS due to wanting to run special monkey proof hoses and God knows the filter that came with it isn’t going to keep the monkeyfied pool clean so I am trying to find bigger filters as well SOOOO I GAVE THEM THEIR FEED TROUGH FOR RIGHT NOW… Gosh they LOVE water!!! Now we must get Reese in the to go cage!!! LMAO!!! You don’t make this boy do ANYTHING he doesn’t want to do SOOOO this will be interesting DELUXE

The difference between human and nonhuman primates are not as far apart as we would often like to think they are.. The bonds between human and nonhuman primates ARE JUST AS REAL AS THE BOND BETWEEN HUMAN/HUMAN RELATIONSHIPS!!! The nonhuman primates can and often will literally starve themselves to death missing their FAMILIES when separated from the humans that raised them.. The heart inside these animals are filled with MORE LOVE AND EMOTION than the majority of all mankind.. They own me.. Life is too short to fit in..

WELLLLLLLLLLLL #AbbyLouise’s kitten is now 10 weeks old and arrived just in time for #Easter2024 HOWEVER it turns out #GunnerBoeh was equally excited IF NOT MORE EXCITED to choose a kitten!!!
#SonyaRoberts, one of our extremely important board members, knew someone who had the mother cat and had promised to help find homes and of course Abby was to be a home for one of them.. Abby has been waiting since #Christmas2023 for her kitten to be born and old enough to take from her mommy.. She got a litter robot for Christmas and no kitty to poop in it.. WHAT A RIP OFF!!
Sonya had pick up the 4 kittens the other day and had kept them for the new owners.. The bad thing is that one of the new owners backed out of taking theirs so Sonya brought the remaining 2 so Abby could choose the right one for her..
HOWEVER upon Sonya’s arrival #Gunner rushed to her quickly and I do mean QUICKLY and started bonding with the black one.. IT WAS VERY SPECIAL!! Abby was watching from a distance as they fell in LOVE.. During this time the orange one snuck out of Sonya’s jacket and walked towards Abby.. She didn’t react like I expected BUT SHE DID FOLLOW IT AND PROTECTED IT FROM EVERYONE ELSE IN THE ROOM.. Sonya was very emotional.. I could tell she had REALLY gotten attached to them and was hurt that her adult cat was being so mean to them because one of them wasn’t going to have a home now..
She was talking about how close they are and how they play and sleep together constantly.. She got me emotional as well!! WHY DONT PEOPLE SPAY AND NEUTER???? Long story short the #EasterBunny2024 brought 2 kittens to Misfitland Monkey Rescue and the place is already #CRAZY!!!! You have NO IDEA WHAT LEVEL OF CRAZY I AM SPEAKING OF EITHER
Don’t forget the REAL REASON THAT WE CELEBRATE #EASTER!!! The tomb is EMPTY!!! #Jesus concord death!! We too WILL LIVE AGAIN!! #PraiseGod #TheGoodStuff!!

I HAVE THE GREATEST LIFE OF ALL!!!! How many people can honestly say that they are blessed enough that they can lay on their couch and watch 3 different types of monkeys groom each other??? I have said it a zillion times and I will say it a zillion more… I will never be WEALTHY but believe me when I say I am RICH!!!!! Money can never buy THIS FEELING… I can sit and watch these monk kidz and when I do EVERY PROBLEM IN MY LIFE DISAPPEARS!!! So many times a day I just have to yell out a big THANK YOU GOD FOR CHOOSING ME TO BE THEIRS!!!

We The #MonkKidz officially declare that we are #ThankfulGratefulAndBlessed to be able to go to sleep each night KNOWING FOR A FACT that each and every one of us is LOVED beyond comprehension to the #AverageHuman!! We know that over and beyond ANYTHING she owns, though technically WE own her, that we are the ONLY priceless possessions that she has!! Over the past 27 years she has lived with us #MonkKids with each and every day being a learning experience for her!! She chose to bring monkeys into a home so therefore EVERYTHING that goes wrong was a conscious thought out decision she made and she needs to own it!! We have taught her that #UnconditionalLove has no price tags or boundaries!! She has learned that #TrueLove is overlooking the stupid stuff that would normally upset her and treasuring the memory that it left behind.. The one thing that we all know for a FACT is she is a FARRRRRR CRY from perfect #TrustMe!!!! #OMGOSH the stories of her mistakes that we could tell would take up an entire library if written down!!! HOWEVER each mistake she makes is with a pure heart filled with #MegaLove for us!! I guess if she wasn’t trying to build a better life for us she wouldn’t make so many mistakes BUT NOTHING WOULD EVER GET DONE THAT WAY!! Truth is if you are trying you gotta be able to accept the failures that come along with the road to SUCCESS!!! So we just Hugg her TIGHT letting her know that we accept the fact that she is PERFECTLY IMPERFECT for #OurTroop..

MISFITLAND MONKEY RESCUEI work hard to try and keep things fun different and interesting for the Monk Kidz.. I understand that HUNTING is something that in the wild they do up to 7 hours per day.. The HUNT is not just a food thing but a mental and physical health thing as well.. I believe with all my heart that captive breed monkeys desire and deserve to experience what God intended for them to be healthy in each and every way… Rescued monkeys living their life out at Misfitland Monkey Rescue have the ability to go inside to a soft bed and television OR to go outside in to their 12 foot high enclosures and hunt, play, climb, swing, or just lay in the sunshine soaking up the vitamin D and fresh air any time of day that they want to.. This year we added tunnel slides to each pen and OMGOSH they are a hit!!! It funny to think about how hard I work just to be able to unlock their doors and watch them check out the new stuff!!! They own me!! Life is too short to fit in!!

WOW!!!!! How does this happen??? My PERFECT little GRANDson isn’t so LITTLE anymore!!! Do you remember him as a weeeeee little tyke running around here with his Java macaque Angel Bullock ALWAYS up to something even if it was just a game of Got Your Nose??? Here’s a link as a small reminder of “THEM”    • Angel Bullock Given Her Ronnie Bulloc...   … God knows he LOVEZ his monk family and they LOVE and honesty ADORE him!! He is their hero!! He has a WAY with them.. They can tell how much he LOVEZ them AND they know they can talk him into ANYTHING!! He often plays the part of the “COOL UNCLE” that sneaks treats in when you are younger allowing you to do/have things that you didn’t always get by with otherwise.. ANYWAY I was looking for a moped for his birthday.. I thought that would be extremely exciting to him due to the fact that it was a MAJOR changing experience in my life opening up a door of FREEDOM that was LIFE CHANGING to me.. At 14 he can become a licensed driver and I thought that would be BIG for him.. HOWEVER as I was looking for one on Facebook Marketplace I realized that they are not really MAKING actual Mopeds anymore.. Seems like the electric bicycle has taken over and blah Blah BLAH.. Aggravated with my searches and such I ended up slipping up in front of Ronnie about what I was trying to do.. He in return wanted to know how much a moped is going to be.. I was about to blow up thinking that he was going to say CANT i just have the money to buy Roblox??? BUT I WAS WRONG even though I wasn’t to terribly far off with where he was going with his question.. Turns out that he has been wanting a XBox to be able to interact with some of his friends at school and from the skating rink at the same time yet everyone is at there own homes.. HECK I LIKE THIS THOUGHT A LOT BETTER THAN HIM INTERACTING WITH STRANGERS THAT MIGHT BE HIS AGE IN THE PHONE GAMES.. SOOOOOOOOOOO I changed my search history and even got him to start looking on Marketplace as well.. At first he was showing me the really old ones that were cheaper BUT YOU HAVE TO BUY GAMES FOR AND OTHER CRAP.. I know I am a cheapie squeezing a penny so tight it SCREAMS but hey what can I say???? There is only so much money!!! Anyway he gets upset with me saying that there’s NO WAY we could possibly find the “NEWER” versions that keep the stuff in cyberspace allowing it to transfer if you buy a new game vs having to buy EVERYTHING again and again and AGAIN!!! What a money pit!!! I told him we had a couple months and maybe he would change his mind and want something different anyway.. He was like NOOOOOOOOOO WAY!!!! I am NOT changing my mind!!! Within a few days he had found one 15 minutes away from our home but he would NOT come down to my price.. HOWEVER THE FELLA WAS $50.00 HIGHER THAN MY MAX VS $500.00 HIGHER LIKE MOST EVERYONE ELSE.. Soooooooooo as soon as Ronnie went to bed that night I got his phone and found the messages between them and who the guy was.. Then I wrote him from my account and ended up meeting up with him that day.. I had explained to the fella that Ronnie had no clue that I was speaking to him or meeting him.. I asked him if Ronnie wrote him to just please say that he sold it and to not give my surprise to him away.. Ronnie wasn’t home 20 minutes and he came outta his room VERY upset that the guy had sold HIS game!! It was SO HARD NOT TO BUST OUT LAUGHING as he was saying how MESSED UP it was that the guy hadn’t written him back before he went to school after he waited for him to respond while he was working.. I asked DID YOU TELL THE GUY THAT YOU 100% FOR SURE WAS GOING TO BUY IT??? He says NO BUT I WOULD HAVE IF I HAD A CHANCE!! I said well you can’t get mad at someone that done the exact same thing you would have done if you was in his shoes.. He said well I think I would have waited for the first one to answer before selling it on him!! I asked well what if you never wrote him back AND he told the other guy no because he was waiting for you??? Then he still needs his money but has NO ONE to buy it!! He said I guess as he mumbled away.. He looked a couple more days and gave up on finding a DEAL that I would agree to without any luck and kinda give up I guess.. LOOK AT THAT FACE!!! He isn’t upset with that fella anymore either.. He is floating on cloud 9!!! Gosh that grin owns me!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE YOU MY RONNIE!!!! Hope 14 is off the hook AMAZING!!! Make GOOD HEARTED DECISIONS THAT WILL ALWAYS MAKE ME AND JESUS PROUD!!! WE BOTH LOVE YOU MORE THAN OUR OWN LIFE!!
