Abby Louise and Bugs Bullock are Java Macaque monkeys who have recently moved in together.. They are building a bond together slowly.. Abby was considered legally dead for two years.. Nobody really knows what the baby went through during that time.. I do know at one point she was kept in a cage next to chimpanzees.. I don't know if she was stuck with other macaque that was abusive to her but she has is really taking her time getting close to Bugs.. Part of me thinks she has a fear from an experienced in the past.. you can tell how much she wants to love and trust him but her ability to do so just isn't there yet.. I have no doubt that in time these two will snuggle together in a heartbeat come bedtime.. they just have to establish some boundaries first.. They own me!! Life is too short to fit in!!

Penny Rose will be 4 years old February 8, 2022 and is feeling tougher than ever.. She is a ball of fire running 120 MPH the entire time her eyes are open most dayz.. Tonight Ralphie D and Bugs Bullock are being slow and not participating in playtime like she wants.. SO she got out the diaper monkey someone sent her back when she and Ralphie D first moved in and taken out her frustration on it unmercifully!! I kept waiting for her to roll outta the swing but her incredible monkey balance kept her afloat till she willfully fell to the floor where she was sneak attacked by Ralphie D.. Just a few minutes before this video I yelled at her to leave him alone.. They LOVE each other yet drive each other crazy!! I LOVE their super ornery personalities. They own me.. Life is too short to fit in!!

Last night we had a popcorn party!! #TheHuman put the entire ear of corn into the microwave and wallah the corn popped right on the cob!! It was CRAZY!! #RalphieD was on top of the Humans shoulders watching through the microwave door with her when suddenly one popped!! Ralphie D jumped big time.. Then another popped right when he leaned back down.. He jumped high again.. Then a few of the kernels started popping!! Ralphie D thought he was being shot at.. He hid under the Humans hair quickly!! Then he started peeping out from underneath her hair to see while a whole BUNCH of kernels popped.. The way he kept jerking when they pooped would have made you think he was actually feeling each hit.. Ralphie D has SERIOUS ANXIETY ISSUES.. He is overly concerned about EVERYTHING and this is a perfect example.. No wonder he SUFFERS SERIOUSLY from hard core acid reflux.. He is overly paranoid making him very submissive/good and you know what they say!! Good guys finish last.. He is lowest on the totem pole around here as far as the pecking order goes.. ANYHOO we all got a whole ear of popcorn last night and it was the coolest popcorn I ever had!! I carried mine everywhere while Ralphie D and #BugsBullock sit on the Human and #AbbyLouise sat on top the cage to enjoy theirs.. I carried it all around with me even when Ralphie and I played chase!! Bugs went a grabbed the bowl that she scooped all the blown up popcorn into and took off running with it.. OMGOSH THERE WAS POPCORN EVERYWHERE by the end of the game!! It was much fun!! Making a mess always is!! On my way to bed I collected the ears of corn the boys had left and took to the bedroom with me.. I was SHOCKED they had left so many kernels on there ears that hadn't popped.. I love unpopped kernels so I sat and picked every single one of them off.. My pouches in my jaws was loaded by the time we turned the lights off and laid down.. I always give my Human bunches of kisses and huggs as I wind down for the evening.. Last night I gave her kernel kisses!! Yep I kept coming back hugging her across the face and then dropping a few kernels each time on top her lips as a kiss.. At first she thought it was a accident and just blew it off.. Then she yelled #PennyRose #WTH?? #StopIt!! Your doin that on purpose and I know it!! I was like DUHHH but I didn't say anything.. I did go back and land a few more kernel kisses on her before getting under the covers for the evening..After I was under the covers I wasn't done partying!! I got my remaining kernels outta my mouth pockets but I must've dozed off at that point..When we woke up the Humans leg looked like a ear of corn!! It had kernels all over it.. We started the morning with a DANGGGGGG PENNY!! LOOK AT THIS MESS!! Guess it was an all night party.. #OOPS #WhoKnew?? #SorryNotSorry

It was a good night with the normal Macaque Kidz plus the newest Macaque Abby Louise.. Abby woke up early and started to groom me!! OHHH YEAH IT WAS FANTASTIC!! They did well together last night but it didn't take long for Penny Rose to get jealous of Abby Louise.. They started making faces at each other so without hesitation I snatched Penny Rose up and started for the door with her.. When I grabbed Penny Rose I guess Abby thought it was time for her to make a move and ran towards us as though she was going to grab Penny.. Needless to say Ralphie D had Penny's back so he too got a quick ride to the barn.. I was shocked we all got to sleep together drama free.. It lasted longer than I expected I guess.. For that I. thankful and will consider the night a WIN!! They own me.. Life is too short to fit in!!

Us #MonkKidz got a bumper car from #TheHuman.. She thought we would like it/drive it because we like to play with the joystick on the electric wheelchair and make it move.. HOWEVER so far NOT ONE OF US HAS TOUCHED THE JOY STICK!! Oh I done a thorough inspection of the undercarriage and it appears it could be safe to use but haven't tried it yet.. The people are supposed to be mailing us the remote control for it.. Maybe if it was moving one of us would wanna jump on it and ride?? All I know is she needs to come up with a better plan to make it more interesting or else she just waisted her time and money. js

The monk kidz got a new swing.. After I put it together I hung it from the ceiling inside and OMGOSH it's a MAJOR BIG HIT!! Watch Penny Rose and Ralphie D jump climb and swing.. At first it was Brittany and I lounging and enjoying life but then here comes Penny!! She was grabbing Brittany's nose, pulling her hair, bouncing on her head, and pulling her nose!! God knows I LOVE this Monk Child of mine even though she goes at 9,000 MPH a lot of the time.. She has been out playing doing her thing for HOURS burning off energy in the play area swinging, jumping, running, and climbing.. Yet she still comes in EXPLODING WITH ENERGY!! That's typical of a young female Macaque monkey.. The boys are hyper and into things just like the girls but I gotta say I believe the girls are way more ornery and inquisitive.. HOWEVER the girls are usually easier to get to comply when reprimanded than the boys are even though you have to get on them more.. They own me.. Life is too short to fit in!!

#SPOILED???? Maybe a bit.. I LOVE ALL MONKEYS but #JavaMacaques are my passion!! Maybe because #AngelBullock was my FIRST monkey/true love and seeing parts of her in them makes my heart smile IDK but for whatever reason #TheyOwnMe!! I have lived with capuchin monkeys now for 3.5 years and they have become my second passion!! THERE IS MANY MANY MANY DIFFERENCES IN THE 2 BREEDS.. The Java Macaques, especially females, are even more destructive than the Capuchins.. The Java Macaques are EXTREMELY HARD TO TRAIN.. Java Macaques are smart and determined to get/do whatever they are not allowed to!! They are smart enough to wait till your back is turned to grab/smash/break the forbidden fruit.. This means for instance you have a new pair of glasses or an expensive pair of earrings or a special handmade picture from the grandkids or etc they are just waiting for the right moment to snatch it and run!! ONCE THEIR HANDS IS ON IT THEY ARE OFTEN WILLING TO FIGHT OVER IT BEFORE GIVEN IT UP or they get somewhere high enough you can't get them where they can chew/break/get to the middle/inside of whatever it is!!! Capuchin monkeys aren't as EXTREME it seems when they get something.. As a matter of fact they will OFTEN bring you stuff to open for them.. You can often talk them into giving something back after they take it without a scuffle.. Java Macaques are old world monkeys and have pouches in their mouths to hide food/EARRINGS/MONEY/REMOTE BUTTONS/TOYS/ or anything that's missing for the most part.. Capuchins are new world monkeys and don't have that ability.. Java Macaques also LOVEZ to swim!! I could watch them swim all day.. They even do it with their eyes open.. Capuchins seems to like water but I haven't seen them SWIM like the javas.. Java Macaques shake EVERYTHING!! Cages, TV's, chairs, ANYTHING.. It's a power thing to intimidate and show strength so everything is always flipped over.. Java Macaques are also LOVERS!! They are AMAZING groomers and come night time they huddle together with the troop for safety and warmth.. THIS IS MY FAVORITE TIME OF DAY!! Has been for 24.5 years now that I have had Java Macaque monkeys!! There is NOTHING BETTER than their little warm hairy monkey bodies snuggled as CLOSE to you as they can possibly get to make you feel LOVED!! #LifeIsTooShortToFitIn

Java Macaque Monkeys Penny Rose and Ralphie D are in for the night.. The monkeys here at Misfitland Monkey Rescue are domesticated rescued monkeys.. That means they are all born and breed here in the USA and raised in private homes.. They have never known the wild and has zero desire to be in the wild HOWEVER they do desire to be playful monkeys.. That's why we work so hard to provide them with the ability to have the things that they were raised with TV, soft boxes/beds, provided meals, and a stress free life for the rest of their life.. All the animals here are fixed and unable to create more lives.. We feel there is no need for us to populate when there is so many in need of homes.. We want to EDUCATE people about what REAL LIFE is like with a monkey.. It's not the 15 minutes that you watched on a cute video.. Please check out misfitland.org to learn more.. The Macaques had been out all day in this video.. By that I mean they have their own heated space in the barn with TV, food, water, beds, toys, and their own personal door to go outside and play any time they want!! They have large play yards with 12' fence, fresh grass for their hunting needs, ropes, swings, trampolines etc to play on and wear themselves out with BUT THEY STILL COME IN BUSTING WITH ENERGY!! Gosh what I would give to be able to GO like them!! They own me.. Life is too short to fit in..

My favorite time of the day is when everything is over and I get to lay down on the couch and wait for the monk kidz to come lay down with me.. One by one, usually Bugs Bullock first, they pile on top of me as they finish their snacks before bed.. I keep Family Feud on to have something to listen to that makes sense even though I can't see the TV because my head is usually covered in monkeys.. Next comes the grooming!! Seems we all take turns getting taken care of.. ITS SO LOVING AND RELAXING!! Tonight was Bugs Bullock's turn to be taken care of.. Needless to say HE LOVEZ it!! Little Penny Rose worked so hard tending to him it put her to sleep.. Ralphie D was already exhausted and crashed out.. They own me.. Life is too short to fit in!!
