GOSH I AM BLESSED!!!! Look at this precious little Gypsy Sue taken great care of her pet human!!! Dang it feels good to be me!! Isn’t she PERFECT??? She absolutely LOVEZ her chirping cardinal!!! Every time I find them on sale I grab her a new one because God knows she will carry it around with her until it is of no good at all… She is so cute, sweet, adorable, and overall PRECIOUS!!! I feel so blessed to be her Human… God really outdone Himself when he made her!!! NO DOUBT!!! She owns me!! Life is too short to fit in!!!

The #GypsySue #IAm!!! Y’all might remember that when I moved in here at Misfitland Monkey Rescue I had a purple duck that I was REALLY ATTACHED to!!! My new #Humom almost beat the woman down with my stuffed duck when she got there to pick me up… See my real #Humommy kept saying to her over and over how she prays that they let me have MY DUCK and my blanket that she had sent with me the morning that the men in uniforms came in and took me from my home… She had STRESSED TO THEM how important MY duck was to me and even my blanket but mostly MY DUCK!!!! The new human kept reassuring her that she was sure that I would have had it.. She didn’t see ANY REASON why I wouldn’t have it UNTIL SHE GOT THERE 8 WEEKS LATER AND I DIDNT HAVE IT!!!! I had NO idea what was happening that day AGAIN!!! They had taken me from my troop against my will to a place that didn’t touch nor hold my scared and shaking body for 8weeks and now something was happening AGAIN… I HAD NEVER BEEN TREATED LIKE THAT IN MY LIFE!!! They didn’t even tell me that things was going to be OKAY!!! They spoke to each other ABOUT ME but never to me!!! They took MY DUCK and MY BLANKET away when i arrived just to toss me in a cold dark lonely cage.. See these people had never had a primate of any type even though they had a permit for wild animals.. Then one day they take me from that cage and place me in a pet taxi.. They ripped up dirty ol newspapers and put in there then left me there ON THE FLOOR!!! I was SO SCARED!!!! Even if they had to put me in a tiny cage WHYYYY LEAVE ME ON THE FLOOR????? I am a monkey!!!! I like to be higher than the threats that surround me!!! I could see MY duck sitting high up on the shelf across the room but I could not hold it nor groom it!!! WHAT A NIGHTMARE I was stuck in!!! There were so many different sounds and smells that made me scared I was being hunted!!! They had many other exotic animals that I was on the food chain of and NOBODY to back me up except MY DUCK who I could only view in the distance… Suddenly the door came open again with more humans coming in.. There was a new one this time and this one SAW ME!!!! Not like the other ones who had been coming in and out viewing me, throwing food at me and talking about me without interacting with the intelligent being that I am… THIS ONE CAME STRAIGHT TO ME ASKING WHY I WAS ON THW FLOOR AS SHE WAS PICKING ME UP OFF THE FLOOR!!! I liked her ALREADY!!! She said she come to bust me out of there.. She was completely shocked to see me sitting in all of that paper, knowing how us Monkey’s have to put everything in our mouth and chew it up… She asked about my DUCK and my blanket because it was obviously not with ME as she expected it to be knowing it would bring comfort to me.. When the woman went over to the shelf and got the duck my new human said SO SHE HASNT HAD HER DUCK???? I have seen a human MAD before so I could easily tell that this human had her blood BOILING!!! When the woman said “No i was afraid she would tear it up” #TheHuman said in an extremely firm voice “ITS HER DUCK!!! IF SHE TEARS IT UP SHE TEARS IT UP BUT ITS HER DUCK” She later told me that she had to just shut up before she caught a charge for beating another humann down with a stuffed animal!!! She said she never wanted to pound someone in the head with a duck so badly in her life!!! I knew right then for the first time since they kidnapped me from my bed that morning that things was going to be ALRIGHT!!! I wasn’t sure where we were going or what we was doing but I knew that this person would LISTEN TO ME and INCLUDE ME in the situation and that was WAYYYYYYY more than I had ever since that one bad morning 2 months ago!!!! The woman had NO CLUE about my blanket (this told my new human that I had not had it either since I had been kidnapped) but did give my new human MY DUCK!!! #MyHuman snatched MY duck from her hands grabbed me and we headed to the van she had driven up to get me in!! She was talking TO ME the entire time telling me it was going to get better now!!! We pulled out the driveway and pulled into another driveway.. I was still pacing in circles.. She kept saying you gotta calm down baby girl.. She just didn’t know how SCARY this thing has been!!! I had NEVER been away from my human troop this long!!! She rolled up the windows and locked all the doors while saying “Look I brought snacks and blankets and I want you to have your duck so I need you to be good and back up so I can put them in with you PLEASE” and I did just that!! She carefully swung the door open while shoving the blankets, treats, and MY DUCK in and QUICKLY shutting the door again… Then she went back to driving and of course still talking to me… I quickly slowed down the pacing in a circle as I was carrying MY duck in my foot!!! She kept talking (never shuts up) and driving asking me all sorts of questions about what I like to eat??? Do I like to hunt??? Do I like cats?? just goofy stuff that somehow got me to stop pacing altogether… Next thing she knew I was eating snacks and grooming my duck just hanging out enjoying the ride and conversation…I STILL HAVE MY DUCK but I have kinda started hanging out with my cardinal lately… The cardinal is smaller to carry AND it chirps!!! I have burned up a few of these things since moving in but #OMGOSH I can’t help it!!! Isn’t it PERFECT??? You should hear it chirp!!! I was told ducks quack but mine never has… Isn’t that odd??? My Humom found them on sale again sooooooooo I GOT A NEW ONE!!! Bet you wish you could have a cardinal like me huh????

My name is #GypsySue.. I am one of the prettiest #RhesusMacaque’s #God ever made!!!! #IKnow this because #MyHuman says so!!! She tells me how #PERFECT #IAm ALLLLLLLLLL the time!!! Ronald Bullock spent the night with a friend so #TheHuman and I had a special #GyppiSue night all to ourselves!!! We ate, we showered, we played and we slept… I gave her a good grooming session and she seemed to respond well to it… Next thing I knew she was snoring!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE my new binky she got me!!! I believe it just might last a few days but only time will tell for sure!!! I also had to clean my #BarbieDoll… Each strand of hair needed to be separated and cleaned individually!!! It was a lot of work but someone has to do it!!! It already afternoon and I am still inside BECAUSE I AM SO GOOD!!! #ThisGirl #GypsySue is a #HeadBanging #FOOL!!!! She has one of those chirping #CatToys that Lisa Newby introduced me to as a #MonkeyToy many years ago and it never fails to impress them and that includes the Gypsy Sue!! She will carry the thing with her EVERYWHERE!!! If her hands are full she will carry it with her foot BUT SHE KEEPS IT CLOSE at all times!! This seems to be more important to her than the duck she came with.. I think it’s cause it’s smaller and she it makes noise.. It’s a Win Win for a little #MonkKid #LifeIsTooShortToFitIn

The view from my office is so darn ADORABLE I just can’t stand it sometimes.. LOOK AT THIS PERFECT LITTLE GIRL!!! A lot of what my job consists of is making sure that these monk kidz has PLENTY of healthy enrichment in their life.. It’s also one of my FAVORITE parts of the job.. Unlike Human Primates Nonhuman Primates are very easy to please and appreciate everything you do for them… When I brought the old milk crate in my plan was to screw it to the pen and use it as a toy box to toss the smaller stuff BUT AFTER TURNING AROUND AND SEEING MY GYPSY SUE SITTING SO HAPPILY INSIDE IT I LEFT IT UNATTACHED FOR HER TO ENJOY FOR A WHILE… I can throw it up to be a toy box AFTER it gets done bein a toy… SEE WHAT I MEAN ABOUT EASY TO PLEASE???? &&&&&& later in life it might become a swing.. Who knows?? She owns me!! Life is too short to fit in!! SPONSOR A MONKEY TODAY!! THEY NEED US TO PROVIDE A SAFE, HAPPY, and CONTENT REST OF THEIR LIFE!!! I, Misfitland Monkey Rescue, ONLY RESCUES!!! Everyone is fixed and just trying to have the best possible rest of their life that can be given to them.. Therefore the income is very limited!!! IF I SOLD/REHOMED MONKEYS MONEY WOULD NEVER BE A ISSUE!! MY PHONE RINGS EVERY DAY WITH PEOPLE WANTING TO BUY ONE OFFERING ME MORE THAN I CAN MAKE IN A YEAR FOR JUST ONE OF THEM!!! If I was a money hungry person I would have an empty building TRUST ME!!! That’s NOT what Misfitland is!! It’s the LAST home these babies will ever have to adjust to!! NEVER AGAIN will they be scared because they are in a new home,around new people who don’t understand how to communicate with them and has new rules that they don’t understand.. I have been struggling trying to figure out HOW I am going to leave them with way to make money once I die because they are NOT DISPLAY MONKEYS who will be forced to sit in the sunshine/rain/cold whatever for public satisfaction BUT MUST HAVE A INCOME UPON MY DEATH!! That’s where my MONKEY BIODOME comes in 👍❤️🙊🙈🙉

#GypsySue is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ADORABLE!!!! #OMGOSH she couldn’t be any cuter!!! She LOVEZ to hunt!!! DID YOU KNOW MONKEYS SPEND UP TO 7 HOURS A DAY EATING/HUNTING??????? Hunting is an EXTREMELY IMPORTANT part of their life enrichment to be healthy and happy!!! It’s not only a diet thing for them but an exercise thing as well.. #JippySue is a #RhesusMacaque which is an old world monkey that has pouches in their jaws.. If you look closely you can see that Gypsy is storing stuff in hers for later and to keep #DaisyMae from getting it.. Wouldn’t it be nice to have built in loot carrier’s????? #LifeIsTooShortToFitIn

I was working on a water fountain project for the Rhesus Macaque girls pen when THIS happened!!!! Gypsy Sue is a young rhesus monkey who moved in a few months ago after being taken to monkey jail during a police investigation in Pennsylvania, where monkeys are not allowed.. It took 9 weeks to bust her out of jail and release the stress that overwhelmed her little body from being thrown into a situation with no human contact for 9 full weeks and the one stuffed animal that she clung to for life, her purple duck, being taken from her… As we drove down the road I could SEE the stress slowly leaving her little body as she quit passing in a circle, started hugging her duck, and snacking on the goodies that I brought her.. After arriving back home after the 10 hour trip for her, 20 hours for me round trip, I SWEAR TO YOU I opened the door and THIS BABY GIRL GRABBED ME AND HUGGED ME SO TIGHT I ALMOST CRIED!!! Talk about a SPECIAL little being!!! I am so in LOVE with her I feel like I have raised her vs only being her pet human for this short period of time… She owns me!!Life is too short to fit in!!

Just LOOK at those #GypsySue eyelashes!!! Isn’t she BEAUTIFUL???? She might also be a little bit #Spoiled… One thing that I have no doubt about is #ThisGirl has been EXTREMELY LOVED in her life time.. She is TOTALLY RELAXED when being hugged on and gives the GREATEST HUGGS EVER!! She thinks it’s funny to pull your hair but honestly that’s a monkey trait and I am sure with age that will become less of a great game to her but if not THATS OKAY!!! I love her just the way she is!!

I am out cleaning #MonkeyFunk so I moved #PennyRose and #RalphieD over to the other side and turned #GypsySue loose in the big pen while I scrub and such.. She has been CRACKING me up DELUXE trying out EVERYTHING in the pen.. I am going to share this with you BUT I WILL NOT BE OUT HERE TO RESPOND so I wanted you to know it will be later when I read your comment.. I have a LOT of funk to scrub with the 9 #MonkKidz so I must keep moving but REALLY THOUGHT YOU MIGHT ENJOY HER ANTICS

I FINALLY got to pick up ONE of the 2 monkeys from a road side zoo that the were confiscated during a search warrant of the peoples home and placed there by the Fish and Game Commission until resolved.. I am very upset knowing that the animals were taken from an environment then this place is allowed to use them as DISPLAY ANIMALS.. My problem with it is because these animals are on DISPLAY for the public they are not allowed to have their stuffed animals that is a MAJOR COMFORT to them.. A LOT of people pull their monkeys from the mother early in their lives and put them on a STUFFY.. Therefore in the animals mind they have bonded with the stuffy as though it’s their mother.. Taking it from them is like taking away the ONLY COMFORT they have left.. They grew up with toys and soft places to sleep with blankets and pillows but the zoo’s don’t want them to have comfort.. Zoo’s are about pleasing the PUBLIC not the animals.. The only thing that is a concern is keeping the money pouring in AND THE ANIMALS DONT GET TO USE THE MONEY THAT THEY EARN!!! If so they would have STUFF TO DO.. The good news is WE HAVE GYPSY and at least SHE won’t be neglected of the worldly things that she grew up with and that includes HUGGS AND KISSES!! LOTZ AND LOTZ AND LOTZZZZZZZZ OF HUGGS AND KISSES!!! She was loaded in a pet taxi with shredded newspaper ONLY when I got there to get her.. I asked about her blanket that her mom told me that she begged them to keep with her but they didn’t even know what I was talking about.. They did however HAND me her stuffed duck that she was SO BONDED TO that her mother had stressed to them that she NEEDED because it is her comfort.. I don’t think she has been able to touch it since she was woken up at 6 a.m. over a month ago when the cops and game warden showed up and took her from everything she knew.. She was taken from everything she knew INCLUDING HER BLANKETS AND TOYS and put in the hands of people who didn’t even know what type of monkey she and Jazzy were.. They thought they were capuchin monkeys!! THEY ARE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT MONKEYS TO ANY NAKED EYE so how anyone could assume they were the same is beyond me and they clearly are not capuchins.. I am not saying they were in ideal situations before being taken because the truth is I don’t know that situation either…HOWEVER IT IS VERY VERY VERY CLEAR TO ME THAT THIS BABY HAS BEEN LOVED ON AND CHERISHED VERY MUCH!! I had only been home with her for a couple hours when this video was taken.. Took me 12 hours round trip to get her here BUT SHE IS HERE TO STAY AND BE LOVED ON WITH HER BELONGINGS FOR THE REST OF HER LIFE!! She acts like a TOTAL DIFFERENT MONKEY THAN THE ONE I WALKED IN THE DOOR AND PICKED UP A FEW HOURS AGO.. As soon as I left their property I pulled over and locked my doors and windows.. I got a blanket from the stuff I brought and put some monkey chow, nut, seeds, and some baby rattles that I had brought for her and folded it up.. I had to make sure she didn’t escape so I carefully told her what I was doing and to stay back.. With a quickness I opened the door and shoved the stuff in to her!! INSTANTLY SHE QUIT PASSING GRABBED HER DUCK AND IN NO TIME SHE WAS EATING HER SNACKS HUGGING HER DUCK AND PLAYING WITH THE RATTLES.. It made my heart SO HAPPY to physically SEE the stress leaving her body.. I spoke to her the entire ride and feel like she was listening.. I swear holding her feels like she has ALWAYS BEEN HERE!! Her Huggs are TIGHT and her chatter is ADORABLE!! I feel VERY BLESSED that from here on out I get to be her PET HUMAN!!! I have the GREATEST JOB ON EARTH!!! She owns me!! Life is too short to fit in!!

HAVE YOU HEARD THE NEWS??? It’s all over town!!! IF YOU AINT HEARD IT BOYZ YOU BETTER SIT DOWN!!! Grab ahold of something!! HOLD ON TIGHT!!! Papers are SIGNED and it looks like #Gyspy’s coming #HomeToMisfitland hopefully next week!!! Here are some more recent photos of her I am SO EXCITED FOR THE #REESIECUP!! He is going to have someone on HIS communication level.. I honestly thought he and #PennyRose would have hit it off but yeah that’s another story I gotta admit that the little #RalphieD REALLY looks up to #ReeseBullock and often tries to sneak over near his pen to visit.. IT SCARES ME even though they are being friendly because Reese poops bigger than Ralph but they seem to have a respect for each other and that’s good.. ANYHOO the important part of this post is our troop is growing again

Still #NoWord about little #Gypsy.. I know you are as concerned about her being away and not eating just like we are.. PLEASE KEEP PRAYING FOR HER!!!! I can’t seem to get her off my mind!!! DO YOU REALIZE THAT YESTERDAY WAS A YEAR SINCE #ReeseBullock came to Misfitland Monkey Rescue???? HOW DID THAT HAPPEN????? Do you also realize that little Gypsy is a #RhesusMacaque??? I can’t help but think that having HIM would help her to adapt quicker just like having other #SquirrelMonkey’s helped the other one to adapt… THEY ABSOLUTELY DO COMMUNICATE and maybe that’s what she is longing for in some way??? #IDK that answer but I do know that #WeLoveHerAlready and just praying that she somehow manages to find happiness and start eating properly knowing that she is WANTED AND LOVED!!! That no one wanted this to happen to her and that SHE has done nothing wrong!!! Ronald Bullock and I speak of her constantly as though she’s already part of our troop!!!
