Opie Rae is an adorable 16 year old capuchin monkey… Watching her sit over there with her little elbow propped up on the door just cracks me up DELUXE!!! If Opie has it her way I would never pull out of the driveway without her!!! She LOVEZ to go bye bye and God knows I LOVE her company.. She owns me!! Life is too short to fit in!!!

#TotallyAdorable #OpieRae #IAm!! See we have this #TotallyAmazing friend who seen a NEED to help some of the homeless people she passes as she reports to work.. She said God laid it onto her heart to make up gift baskets to hand out to try and relieve some of their day to day stress.. She had a goal to hand out 50 bags/boxes of food, toiletries, and things to help them to be more comfortable.. We donated some of the shirts that we had to put in the gifts that Lisa Newby is making to hand out!! If you have never had the opportunity to meet Lisa I am here to tell you that she has a heart the size of blue sky!!! SHE IS A ANGEL WALKING EARTH!!! SOOO I helped #MyHuman pack up some T-shirts and we took them to the #PostOffice to send to Lisa.. I had to get behind the counter and help with the address and such just to be 100% sure nothing gets messed up along the way.. The postmaster was so happy with my help and I believe she was ready to hire me full time to work with her!! She was extremely impressed with my cuteness.. She allowed me to have a spearmint candy.. I loved it SO MUCH I shared it with her by leaving some for her on her forehead.. That way when she gets home she will have a snack ready and waiting for her.. She doesn’t know it yet but I dropped some down her shirt as well.. That way she can have a snack before bed as well.. She said she would come see me this year at the #MisfitlandHomecoming!! I hope she does because we are now friends and kinda like coworkers.. What a wonderful day that will be… HOPE YOU ARE PLANNING TO BE HERE TOO!!! #LifeIsTooShortToFitIn #TheGoodStuff

#OpieRae hauling hay #IAm!! I grew up being a city monkey but now I am a #FarmGirl #OnAMission!!! Now I take care of cows as well as everything else that eats and poops around here.. I have to keep #MyHuman in check making sure that she pays attention to details like DONT HIT THE FENCE and stuff like that when we drive!! It turns out that #SheNeedsMe because she can not focus without a monkey on her constantly.. She feels naked and incomplete by herself!! That’s because she IS!! Our #MonkeyLove is her inspiration.. I mean seriously LOOK AT MY FACE!! I am INSPIRATION to the entire world!! Everyone wants to be like ME

When your helper is #SoCute that the neighbors show up to watch her work/ caulk bathe.. #OpieRae the #Goofy #Capuchin.. In the wild #CapuchinMonkey’s take baths with eucalyptus leaves.. they rub them all over their bodies to get the scent on them.. it is believed that they do this to keep the bugs away from biting them.. it’s funny because it’s different smells will sit them into a drooling, rubbing rage.. it’s almost as though they are in a trance when they find the odor that gives them the urge.. Apparently the smell of #PaintersCaulk does it for #MizzOpie

#IAm the #Emotional #OpieRae!! I have an #AnxietyDisorder #DELUXE!!! I am perfectly fine as long as #MyHuman is in my sight!!! She is NOT allowed to go anywhere including the bathroom without me or my anxiety takes over and I will sit at the bathroom door making ALLLLLL KINDS of crying noise as though I am never going to see her again!!! ITS AWFUL!!! The other day I was napping and suddenly looked up and she was GONE!!! It was a nightmare!! I took off hunting her down while I was scared to death she was a goner!!! Turns out she went out to the mailbox WITHOUT ME!!! I spotted her heading back my way and took off running as FAST as I could to get to her!!! I screamed at the top of my little monkey lungs as I charged towards her!! She picked me up saying how she would NEVER leave her Opie Rae and BLAH BLAH BLAH!!! All I could think was YOU JUST DID WOMAN!!!! Is my #StupidSign blinking????

#OpieRae girl on a mission #IAm!!! Been a long crazy week and I am not even joking!!! I find it difficult to understand HOW they give most of the Humans a driver’s license!! When we were going to Home Depot Beechmont and I made mental note of the Human actions going on along the way!! I counted 3 vehicles not using turn signals… 1 vehicle ran through a traffic light and even worse at 2 different lights we were stopped at the drivers were so busy texting on her phone that they didn’t even see my TOTALLY ADORABLE FACE watching them.. DO NOT EVEN TRY TO TELL ME THAT THERE IS SOMETHING BETTER TO LOOK AT THAN ME!!!! Then I had a full blown #PanicAttack thinking that she she forgot the debit card after we drove all the way over!! No worries I found it in her coat pocket so we were able to spend WAY MORE than we should have!! I am not sure what she is complaining about all time with repairs, pricing, and broke down but it REALLLLLLY sets her OFF!! I keep giving her the adorable look that rest across my face trying to explain to her that she CAN go ahead and put it in the cart to go home with us because I found the magic plastic card!!! WE DONT NEED MONEY!!! DUH #HUMAN!!! #LifeIsTooShortToFitIn here at Misfitland Monkey Rescue

#OMGOSH THIS #HUMAN LOVEZ ME!!! #OpieRae the #ADORABLE #IAm!!!! You know what??? There is no way anyone could possibly know that I just moved in here!!! Well I mean of course YOU know because you love the troop but anyone who doesn’t know the history of me moving in could NEVER guess it just happened… I mean I #JustFit in #PERFECT!!! I already have this goofy Human eating from the palm of my we little hands!! I bet I could make her do cartwheels if I really wanted to!! I really enjoy being with her and I make sure she knows it!! For example if she goes to the restroom and somehow I didn’t get to go in with her I will sit at the bathroom door and cry until she opens it!! This melts her world and makes her realize SHE done me wrong and she needs to make up for her self centered actions!! At that point I get LOADZ OF HUGGZ AND KISSES along with some sunflower seeds, one of my favorite snacks, or anything else I want along with her ongoing verbal apology.. Today EVERYTHING is frozen!! Around noon it was 4 degrees outside.. Therefore we have spent a lot of time covered up and being very lazy!! PERFECT TIME FOR A WRESTLING MATCH along with some cuddles because when we defrost you know she is is going to have a bunch of busted lines to fix and TONZZZZZZZZ of poop to shovel from forcing ALLLLLLLL the animals inside!!! Them dang chickens just don’t care about where they poop!!! Glad she put them over in the monkey barn vs porch!! I ain’t cleaning it!!! That’s what God gave me a Human for!!! ANYHOOOOOOO I win the wrestling match and for loosing she had to provide me with a #BellyRub and sunflower snack!!! #LifeIsGood COLD but good #TheGoodStuff #LifeIsTooShortToFitIn #MizzOpie #MommysGirl #ILoveHer #SheOwnsMe

HOLY SMOKES WTHECK IS THAT questions the little Opie Rae.. Little Opie was 4 years old when taken to to the vet and told that it’s a SHE not a he but she already knew the name Opie and kept it.. OMGOSH THIS GIRL IS THE SWEETEST!!! I am totally in LOVE with her personality!!! She is a spunky little thing to say the least.. She cracks me up with her ADORABLE little expressions and sounds.. I will be honest though.. She can really be a loud mouth with SOOOOOOOOO much to say that can sometimes go on LOUDLY for 3-5 minutes at a time.. It cracks me up but can get annoying when trying to hear something over and OVER again and she won’t hush but let’s face it she is adorable and can get by with things like that.. She seems AMAZED by all the new things she is seeing around here.. This thing is BIG and LOUD in front of us.. I wish you could feel her little hands gripping ahold of me while she checks out the big machine in front of us.. I LOVE this precious little girl and everything about her INCLUDING HER NAME.. She owns me.. Life is too short to fit in.. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE GIVE US A “LIKE” IT HELPS FEED THE MONKEYS AND OTHER ANIMALS!!!

Opie Rae is one of the MOST ADORABLE capuchin monkey personalities I’ve ever had the pleasure of interacting with and she just seem to get sweeter EACH DAY!! Look at her discovering the plug in part for this donated electric blanket.. She thinks she has really hit the jackpot with her awesome discovery.. I am sure she will spend much time figuring out exactly HOW she is going to remove the “EXTRA PARTS”.. We are extremely thankful to Andrea Fritz for sending her extra blankets for the monk kidz and other rescued animals here at Misfitland Monkey Rescue.. It means a LOT!! Life is too short to fit in!!!

My name is #OpieRae.. I am a #SassyPrincess who believes that #Iam in #TotalControl!! You know what they say EVERYBODY IS A #GANGSTER UNTIL A REAL GANGSTER SHOWS UP!!! I am cute yet controlling!! I often get told how I have to share my new Human and how the others are allowed to be on her too or that my Ronald Bullock belongs to everyone and that I have to share him as well.. I LOVE MY #RonnieBullock AND I DONT WANT TO SHARE HIM!!! Then nighttime rolls around and I was told that #MyRonnie was going to sleep with the #PennyRose and that I could sleep with #TheHuman if I wanted to but to stay out of his room tonight because she will be in there with him…I was like #WHATEVER!!!! I am the boss of me and will do as I please!!! Have you not noticed how #TikiTorch and #GunnerBoeh jump when I say???? Have you not noticed how that #BitsyDog will run if I tell her to??? Have you not noticed that even that big ol #ReeseBullock pays attention when I want something?? Sure he thinks I am cute and all but overall I think it’s because he knows I am tough as nails and he is scared of my #ToughGirl #attitude!! #MyHuman says I should not push him because he poops bigger than I am but I say he looks scared!! That’s how I wanna keep him!!! ANYHOOOO back to sleeping with MY RONNIE!! He went out and got the #PrettyPenny and he clipped her lead to his bed so she could not come out to the living room area where all of us was.. He could not shut his door.. There was a door but the other day he shut that door and locked my Human out so she got her battery drill out and removed it.. Now that door is out in the garage.. SOOOO at first I sat out in the living room folding clothes with the Human but after a bit I decided to go CLAIM WHAT WAS MINE and snuck into #Bubbies room to chase the Penny Rose away from MYYYY RONNIE!!! Turns out Penny Rose is a #RealGangster!!! She was snuggled up with Ronnie under the covers when I grabbed her to scare her off.. OMGOSH she didn’t run!!! She sat up and quickly grabbed a entire handful of my hair!!! Bubby grabbed her and I made a run for it!!! I couldn’t believe it!!! Everyone else INCLUDING THE BULL runs when I say!! WTHECK JUST WENT WRONG??? Needless to say I didn’t go back in Bubbys room that night!!! I don’t know how she missed the memo saying that I AM ALPHA but she clearly did… The part that really stinks for me but she is taken TOTAL ADVANTAGE OF is #AbbyLouise looks a LOT like Penny Rose!!! Abby used to get up and move a couple feet away from wherever I was at.. You know what I mean!! When she saw me coming she would step aside as though I was ROYALTY and deserved space!! I LIKED IT!!! As a matter of fact it has a LOT to do with the overgrown ego I was getting… NOW all the sudden I guess she saw I was showing a tad bit of resistance and fear in my eyes, she does look a lot like Penny Rose and I wanna keep my hair from being pulled so I am not as confident as I once was towards her.. SHE KNOWS IT TOO!! So perhaps I will start letting my guard down a bit and quit trying to be #alpha.. I mean seriously I am more along the lines of #ADORABLE anyway!! My #Humommy tells me so!! SOOOOOO I have been Han out taking care of bills and socializing with other humans and just ignoring the #MonkKidz and trying to figure out just exactly where I fit in on the totem pole for now!! Life is a process and I guess I will be content with whatever part of that pole I end up being on because I know I am LOVED #DELUXE for the rest of my life

My name is #OpieRae.. #IAm a black cap capuchin monkey who recently moved in to Misfitland Monkey Rescue… See I used to live with #Tiki and his Daddy until his daddy suddenly passed away… The reason I was living with them was because #MyHuman has become physically unable to keep up with me anymore.. I AM A VERY VERY VERY GOOD GIRL but I am still a monkey and we are a HANDFUL even at our very best to say the least.. I was very happy living there with them and extremely sad when everything suddenly changed outta nowhere and I went somewhere else to stay.. They were very nice to me and such but I was already missing my real #Humommy and now both #BigDaddy and the #TikiTourch were just GONE and I was missing them as well now too… When my REAL Human seen how Tiki had #FREEDOM she wanted me to have it too.. She asked if I got to go also??? When she was told no because I had already moved away it broke her heart.. See I am healthy and totally ADORABLE so EVERYONE wants me unlike a grown unhealthy and tough boy monkey that requires expensive shots each day that he doesn’t want to take!! My Mommy was sad because she wanted me to experience the joy of playing and hunting with my brother that I had grown to know and LOVE as #MyTroop/family.. She LOVEZ me VERY much and didn’t want me to be any more stressed than necessary!! She asked for me back and we got to be together again!! I got me ALLLLLL KINDS OF LOVINZ FROM HER!!! It was MAGICAL!! I certainly LOVE MY HUMOMMY and she clearly LOVEZ ME TOO!! She told me to be good and to eat all my vegetables!! She said she is going to come and see me and Tiki here at the new address every chance she gets then I got handed over to the #CrazyLady who tried to stick her hands into MY small travel cage and touch me!!! I was like WTHECK WOMAN!!! GET YOUR MIND RIGHT!!! Just because they said I was EXTREMELY SWEET and LOVING DONT mean that I want YOU a total stranger touching ME especially in such a small tight space and reaching towards MY PRIVATE AREAS trying to get me to put a diaper across my bottom!!! I told her OFF DELUXE and let her know that our relationship wasn’t like THAT and that she was by far crossing the line!!! I have been playing #HardToGet every since I got with her!! I admit that I got to thinking that I had her scared because I could tell she was kissing my butt trying to convince me that she wasn’t going to hurt me and blah blah blah… She was offering me treats and gifts if I would just let her put a diaper on my butt but I was like NOPE NOT HAPPENING and go back in to the pet taxi.. She kept trying to explain that in order for me to run loose in the food and couch areas that I MUST cover my private areas so that it don’t touch stuff.. Something about me not wiping good enough or whatever!!! ANYHOOOOO I WAS LIKE WHAT PART OF NO DONT YOU UNDERSTAND!!!! Making it clear how I felt about the entire diaper issue she said to me WELLLLLLLLL #MissOpie you can’t just sit in a freaking tiny area let’s tie you out on to the porch with #GunnerBoeh where it’s OKAY to run diaper free and took me out front and latched a 20 foot lead to me explaining how IF I had a diaper on I would be allowed to enter the house but since I don’t she was shutting the door so I couldn’t enter.. I was happy out there to be honest!!! We had BUCKETS of crickets to eat!! It was UNBELIEVABLE and DELICIOUS!! However next thing I knew I had a FULL belly and was VERY tired!!! I kept climbing up looking in the window showing off my cute little self but trying to play it cool when she would walk out asking if I wanted a diaper so I could come in!! Each time I answered NO and yes believe me I totally understood each word she was saying!! Then she could tell I was super duper sleepy… She had made my taxi all fresh and clean again with fresh blankets, pillows, and toys but offered me a chance to put on the diaper and sit inside FREE or get into the taxi to go inside.. It was a #NoBrainer!! #YesHello get outta my way imma going to MY taxi.. Then she shut the door saying OKAY BUT TOMORROW WE ARE PUTTING THE DIAPER ON YOUR BUTT SO BE PREPARED!! I AM DONE ASKING AND APOLOGIZING FOR SCARING YOU!! She was like YOU HAVE TO KNOW BY NOW THAT I AM NOT GOING TO HARM YOU!! I don’t know what makes her think she is a psychic, but that’s what she said!! Next thing I knew she was trying to touch me on MY TAIL AGAIN!!! I started standing my ground like each day before but she had gone psycho and wasn’t paying attention to anything I had to say… Forcing me to take it to the #NextLevel I started to try to work my little mouth around to her hand when she grabbed the bath towel from the sink we were sitting next to and wrapped it army shoulders and held me down saying ITS OKAY ITS OKAY at the same time she was FORCING the diaper on to my little buttocks!!! I WAS VIOLATED AND IT WAS NEVER REPORTED TO THE MONKEY POLICE!!! As soon as she was able to get the second strap between my legs and the Velcro snapped she did release me and I will admit I was extremely happy to be able to check out ALLLLLL the stuff I had been looking at so intensely and curious about but was restricted from going to because she didn’t want me to poop or pee on it.. THE #BatShitCrazy PART WAS SHE TURNED AROUND AND WANTED TO TAKE IT BACK OFF AGAIN!!! WTHECK YOU WEIRDO!!! DONT TOUCH ME DOWN THERE!!! NO WAY YOUR MEMORY IS THAT OFF!!! So we had the exact same issue taken it back off BUT TODAY she showed up in the bathroom with my Ronald Bullock and they both started on this stupid diaper thing AGAIN!!!! I did run my mouth quite a bit about it BUT ALLOWED IT TO HAPPEN knowing it does come with a freedom that I certainly do enjoy and being honest it really doesn’t hurt anything other than my pride to wear it.. I always wore it before BUT I was honestly hoping to be #alpha here!! What can I say?? Another dream shattered… I am going to have to settle for being a #Princess LOVED by my FOREVER troop at #Misfitland
