Everyone please say a prayer for Teresa Bullock owner of Misfitland Monkey Rescue as she lost Bugs this Sunday. Bugs was 22.5 years old.

#BugsBullock 22.5 years old.. He is the first monkey I ever rescued.. He was 14 months old when he came.. He was bought by a lady who had lost her husband.. She was extremely lonely after her husband passed away and used the remainder of his life insurance to buy her a friend.. She named him #Buddy because that's what he was #HerBuddy.. Unfortunately within a year of loosing her husband she unfortunately lost her home as well and had to move in with her daughter who now had kids and a husband as well.. Of course there were a lot of cute times with the grandkids and the baby monkey but there was also the times both the children wanted something and the baby monkey wanted it too.. As always when it comes to kid vs monkey the monkey will win EVERY TIME!! Of course the father was taking up for the kids and like any true loving mother she felt he was being too hard on/rough with her baby.. She had a friend who had always wanted him so with a broken heart she passed her "Buddy" on to the friend for a better life for him, her family, and the whole living situation.. The friend put him in a cage.. He had never been in a cage before!! The next day the friend opened the door to feed him and PRESTO he was gone!! MONKEYS ARE FAST DELUXE!! I guess they must've been in a city because she said they had to shut down traffic in both directions.. She said there was police, fire department, animal control, a helicopter, news media, and the entire general public gathered around trying to catch him as he ran a muck wreaking havoc before he was captured.. I wish we would have had internet back then.. I would have loved to have had the news article and saw the footage although it would have broken my heart to have seen them actually capture him and haul him off to monkey jail.. HIS #HUMOMMY REALLY LOVED HIM THOUGH!! She went to court and fought for him!! She could have said Nope he belongs to her now and she turned him loose BUT SHE DIDN'T!! She jumped through all the hoops of the court and got him back.. Then she contacted #MonkeyMatters a group I was on the adoption list to help Rescue a monkey.. She contacted me and without hesitation I said yes!! #JuniorG was 2 and #AngelBullock was 3.. I couldn't wait to meet him and see how they act together.. At that time I was VERY NAIVE TO THE MONKEY KINGDOM!! I went to #MonkeySchool the same way I went every other school in life.. #TheHardWay!! I had no intention of ever locking my monkeys up!! My dogs, cats, and even the pig ran free so would my #MonkKidz and they did!! I am the dead end of the dead end road.. I was surrounded with trees and wildlife.. It was the PERFECT PLAYGROUND for primates!! I remember being so scared that when they would get here and she seen I live in a mobile home that she would refuse to let him stay BUT SHE DIDN'T!! As a matter of fact her first words was THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT HE NEEDS!! as she looked around.. My heart swelled knowing she wasn't going to change her mind!! I can still see him coming down the driveway in that big green truck walking across the dashboard looking at me pulling those eyebrows back checking me out.. GOSH HE WAS SO HANDSOME!! She talked with me and told me that she just wants him to be able to be a monkey without getting in trouble for it and NOT in a cage.. She had a BIG problem with the thought of him being in a cage.. I promised her I would make sure he wasn't EVER kept in a small cage again!! She told me how he would say mooooom.. I didn't really believe her at first BUT HE REALLY DID!! He quickly became bonded to me and my daughter Rosa.. He was SO FULL OF ENERGY and loveable as could be.. My brother's name is Buddy and we have a very strained relationship so changing his name became important but I didn't want it to affect/confuse him by changing it.. I started calling him my little Bugs Buddy.. In no time his head would move when he heard Bugs and I dropped the Buddy leaving it a middle name for him.. He LOVED jumping and climbing in the trees with #AngelAndJuniorG!! NOTHING was as fun as watching them.. They would chase each other from limb to limb, tree to tree.. I can see them now landing on the edge of the branches allowing them to bind down and fling them back in to the air to grab the next!! Watching them NEVER GOT OLD!! Over time they all started working together and breaking into the house when I wasn't home. This forced me to sell my Harley and build a monkey pen.. One with electric on the top where they could go inside and outside any time they wanted WITHOUT being totally loose.. They still had a pond, trees, grass, about 3/4 acre BUT wasn't able to tear down walls or let the air out of the tires anymore.. I hated confining them but it became necessary!! Bugs personality grew STRONG!! He wanted to be alpha and wanted everyone to know it.. He loved getting up in the morning and going hunting.. He would hunt for many hours before heading back in to watch TV during the heat of the day.. He often passed time playing in his pond chasing frogs fish and bugs.. He liked to sit on his kayak in the pond and hunt from the side of it.. Hunting was the MOST IMPORTANT PART OF HIS DAY!! He would always head back out in the later afternoon to hunt again.. Just like #AngelBullock grasshopper season was his FAVORITE time of year!! He just couldn't get enough of them.. I seen him eating one last night before we came in.. Some things never change.. Bugs has been fighting a liver issue for years now and every day since I found that out I have known was a true gift given to me from God.. Doc gave him little hope when he sent him home with me back then.. I have spent all my time and effort trying to find things to make his liver work again.. I had no idea the liver controlled so much but because of the liver his thyroid kidney and colon has struggled to operate properly.. I just left the fire department from trying to get him help.. I tried to get to our emergency vet but was given a website to try and look up when I called.. I tried but my reading vision is AWFUL and I couldn't find my glasses.. Time was EXTREMELY IMPORTANT so I rushed him to the fire department for help.. He gave him oxygen but as I feared his time here was over.. He quit trying to breathe and his eyes stayed put.. He left me.. I knew we were on borrowed time but I was still praying for more.. That SPACE in-between his arrival and today is filled with more LOVE, LAUGHS, TEARS, PAIN, JOY, COMFORT, PEACE, AND HAPPINESS than you will ever know.. I am BROKEN inside.. #ILoveYou #RIP

#BugsBullock #MyCaregiver  He seems to be feeling MUCH BETTER since he finished his antibiotics and is still taking his liver and prostate natural liquid supplements I have been giving him.. He is quite a lover anymore.. He seriously enjoys being allowed to hang out inside and has been very well behaved in order to keep his privilege.. #BugsBullock #TheHungry #IAm!! #MyHuman tries to make sure we get all the live insects we can eat!! She believes the best diet for us is to be as NATURAL as possible!! She knows we hunt/eat 7+ hours per day and insects are a MAJOR part of that hunt.. HOWEVER I THINK MY #GRANDmammy has a MUCH better hunting plan than #TheHuman ever has had!! My GRANDmammy has a special device that sits outside her house and has a 5 acre territory it covers sucking live flying insects into a chamber that safely saves them for her to be able to dump them into a bag and send them home for me!!! BRILLIANT!!! All I had to do was sit and sort through the massive pile of delicious nutritious fresh insects!! It was like having a smorgasport of all my favorites.. You remember about a year and a half ago when Doc found my liver problem then again about 6 months ago when I couldn't pee at all and Doc had to catheterized me to make it come out?? Well since then #MyHuman is always trying to find natural stuff to HELP my little body function better.. She thinks God given stuff is always better than man-made drugs even though she gave me the man-made drugs as well.. The problem is the man-made stuff only lasts a couple weeks and then you wait till it comes back and then use it again.. She has said something to me a few times about noticing I am climbing more and grooming more BUT YESTERDAY!!! YESTERDAY WAS THE TRUEEEEE TELL TELL THAT THE PROSTATE STUFF IS WHAT I NEEDED!!! I had a bag put up someone sent for Bugs Bullock that Abby Louise found.. Unfortunately she ripped it open but I got it from her before she ripped them all out.. He was OVERLY EXCITED to get the pack of bugs .. #BugsBullock the #LOVED #IAm!!
Do you realize this time last year you and #TheHuman was praying daily/hourly for a miracle to make me get better and honestly hopeful I would make it to see Christmas?? Do you realize because of your love and support I was able to receive every possible test and medicine needed to figure out what was causing the life-threatening liver issues/growths/fungus that was secretly killing me?? Oh yeah I am still under Doctor's care BUT I have a had a #LifeChanging experience and am trying to turn my life around living the #BestLifeEver now.. WHAT DO I MEAN?? I done 12 to 15 years of #HardTime!! YES PEOPLE 12 TO 15 YEARS NO LIE!! I was what you call doing a life sentence for being a #Repeatoffender.. I was only allowed to have #HumanContact with #MyHuman due to attitude.. I never got to go into the house, the bed, or even the bathtub during this time.. What happened was I hit puberty and I admit my hormones got the best of me.. I wish still a very very VERY good boy 90 to 95% of the time.. HOWEVER if I got a hold of something I didn't want to give up or if there was something I didn't want to do I would make it CLEAR I wasn't doing it!! Food is a necessity of life so of course I feel a need to be protective of it.. I also felt I was a big boy and had no need to be put in a pin or a cage and would refuse to do so when she would try to put me in it was ON!! #IAdmit #ThatHuman of mine can be pretty spunky when she is provoked!! She got to where she knew when my body started tensing up we was about to go a round or 10!! First I would try jumping from her arms digging my heavy duty nails in DEEP with my #extremelyStrong hands and feet.. She was pretty much a pro at this move because she had my two older step siblings #JuniorG and #AngelBullock that had been training her along with me for years at this point.. The move that I would pull that #AngelLouise never pulled but #JRG did try once in a while was bitting her.. I don't know what would come over me that would make me do it because I was #InstantlySorry #EveryTime right afterwards.. I gotta say though the woman never gave in even when I put EVERY OUNCE of #ToughLove I had into trying to free myself from her restrictions!! Often we would end up on the ground with me pinned underneath her and her hand squeezing my mouth closed.. I got #SoStrong that she would not only need her arms but also her body weight to contain me.. It was yet another job for her to make it to the pen with me and get it locked.. After MANY of these episodes she sold her Harley Davidson Sportster 1200 because it was the only thing she owned of any value and had a fence company come in and build a fence.. Then my #GRANDpaps helped her put electric wire on the top of the fence and he dug us a pond leaving us many trees.. The fence attached to the barn where Junior G, Angel, and I could use it BUT I wasn't allowed back out of pen.. She was tired of fighting.. I had NO IDEA she would stick to it this time!! She threatened me CONSTANTLY that she was gonna put me in prison and leave me but she NEVER stuck to it till that one day.. YEARS and YEARS and YEARS passed.. She would hold me and tell me how badly she wanted me to come in with her and would almost do it then I would do/act/SOMETHING would happen that would remind her I probably wasn't ready to handle that yet.. BUT NOW???? NOW I am what they call a #ReformedPrisioner!! I came in when I was VERY sick having to sit in that travel cage being pushed around on a scuffle because she wanted me in here with her but knew she had to take me back and forth to see Doc so she didn't get me out for fear of not being able to put me back in.. Finally after MANY trips every other day I got to get out of that little cage and into the time out cage.. WAY BETTER!! Then I was so weak she would leave my door open after meds, food, syringing me stuff etc just trying to entice me to move.. I was super sore from surgery but slowly it encouraged me to move about.. I could see the concern on her face when she came back from the laundry room and I was in the floor the first time but she REALLY WANTED ME ACTIVE AND ALIVE so she faced that fear.. I TURNED ON THE CHARM FROM THERE!! I remember EVERY THING about sleeping in the big comfy bed, swimming in big comfy tub, eating out of the big filled cabinets, and watching TV while cuddling on the couch!! #IWANTTHATAGAIN and have done EVERYTHING necessary to keep that in my life this time as I have felt better!! OH yeah I've crossed the line a couple times and had to go to the barn for punishment.. OKAY OKAY OKAY MAYBE IT'S BEEN MORE LIKE 15 OR 20 TIMES but regardless all I did was give up and go do my time for the rest of the day and be allowed to come back in.. I actually run and hide when she raises her voice letting her know that WHATEVER is going on #ItWasntMe!! I would never think about crossing that line again!! I am too old to do another #PrisonSentence like that!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU TO THOSE WHO CHOOSE TO SUPPORT US RESCUED ANIMALS HERE AT #MISFITLANDMONKEYRESCUE!! PROUD TO ANNOUNCE #BUGSBULLOCK WOKE UP WITH A WET DIAPER AND PEED SINCE!! I have to keep a close eye on the amounts and make sure he is getting enough out. He is still taken the augmentin Dr Jodi put him on.. Doc thinks because of the antibiotic his blood work showed OK but he thinks that infection was the entire problem and that antibiotic is the fix he needed long-term.. only time will tell.. He seems more AWAKE today and in a great mood so those are all good signs.. Keep praying for him PLEASE!! He is a good boy and deserves the best #ILoveHim #MyMainMan #TheBugs

I BELIEVE IN THE POWER OF PRAYER!!! PRAYERS WERE HEARD AND ANSWERED TODAY!! At first the catheter wouldn't go in and Doc said let me check his prostate.. the first thing that came up when I googled the question why can't I pee what is prostate issues... It was like trying to steal and I felt so sick to my stomach while he examined it.. the release that came over me when you said no that's not it is undescribable!! Then he worked a little more with the catheter.. there was a urine test and full blood workup done.. he is showing high levels in his thyroid.. Doc is going to look further into that but overall EVERYTHING LOOKS GOOD!! FOR HIS AGE AND PAST HISTORY THAT'S INCREDIBLE!! The fact that Dr Jodi gave him the antibiotic on Friday is the reason it is not showing any infection in him Doc believes.. Dr Jodi may have saved his life by getting him started on that!! Is krampus real that the infection was the entire problem but of course wants him monitored for a while.. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU FOR THE LOVE AND THE PRAYERS AND THE EMOTIONAL SUPPORT!!!! YOU WILL NEVER KNOW HOW MUCH IT MEANS TO ME DO YOU KNOW THERE IS PEOPLE OUT THERE THAT LOVE THESE ANIMALS LIKE I DO!! Y'ALL ARE OUR TROOP

UPDATE!! #BugsBullock"s uretha is completely clogged!! They don't have a catheter that is the right size for him so I am running to another vet office to pick one up while they keep him sedated.. THANK GOD FOR THIS VETS OFFICE THAT HAS ONE!! Doc was able to squeeze enough urine out of him that they are going to be able to run a test on it while I'm gone.. As soon as Doc examine him he shook his head in a negative direction. I swear my heart hit the ground and exploded..Then he said don't worry we're going to get him some relief today.. He just doesn't know why it's clogged like that yet.. KEEP PRAYING FOR SIMPLE FIXABLE RESULTS!!!

#BugsBullock has been EXCELLENT on the ride up here.. He is checking out EVERYTHING that is going on.. I WANTED YOU TO GET TO SEE HIM BEFORE WE GO IN!! I PRAY TO GOD THIS IS KIDNEY STONES OR SOMETHING FIXABLE!! PLEASE PRAY WITH ME!! He did get more pee out last night than he has in a few days BUT not near enough.. #BugsBullock the getting spoiled #IAm!! I haven't felt real good lately.. On Wednesday afternoon/evening #TheHuman changed my diaper and I was good and wet.. Later as we were getting ready for bed she went to change me again and I was dry!! It had been a LONG time and she was SHOCKED because I was drinking quite a bit.. Thanksgiving morning I woke up dry.. Now the #Humom was getting very concerned.. Of course my Doctor was closed for the holiday.. She kept a close eye on me all day.. I did eat bits and I did drink a bit but no pee.. Friday morning she spoke with Dr Jodi, my other Doctor.. With some signs pointing towards a kidney infection she called me in some augmentin that the Human ran and got with a quickness given me 2 doses of it that day.. Saturday I seemed to feel a wee bit better but still no pee.. The Human has worked herself into a frenzy concerned about the awful time I had right at a year ago this time.. Last night I got to go to the #ChristmasLights ALL BY MYSELF!! Yep just the Humom and I out enjoying the evening!! THEN WE CAME HOME and she took the babies out another snack and turned them both in to where they could get to each other and came back in WITHOUT THEM!! I couldn't believe it!! Next thing you know we got ready for bed and just she and I slept great with me tucked in tightly across her chest.. Many years ago she was trying to figure out a way to make a pen for me in her room to tunnel me over to be in the same room as her as she slept but God's plans are ALWAYS BIGGER than ours!! She never dreamed she would ever get to hold me every night tucked in just like when I was a wee little monk again and now we have been doing it for over a year.. FOR THAT WE ARE BOTH SOOOOOOOOOOO THANKFUL!!
Tomorrow morning we have to be there when the doors open to see Doc.. She did see me dribble a few drops of pee out today and got EXTREMELY EXCITED ABOUT IT but it wasn't nearly what it should have been.. Doc says MAYBE it is kidney stones.. That's bad but not as bad as my organs/kidneys shutting down which of course is #MyHumans biggest fear.. PRAY FOR ME PLEASE!! I HAVE TO HAVE RELIEF!! Pray God gives Doc the ability and resources to fix me once again!! I still have TONZZZZZ of work left to do here on the farm and SOOOOOOOOOOO much I still have to teach those young #MonkKidz and that isn't even mentioning the fact that #MyHumom #NeedsMe

OMGOSH I didn't even know they had sour cream and onion crickets!! He ate EVERY BOX you sent!! I guess the others will get the toys I have a long video uploading to YouTube.. 21.5 years old and still gets excited about mail call.. Java Macaque Bugs Bullock is a tad bit spoiled.. His friend and long time follower Debbie Scott takes GREAT care of him.. She sent treats for all the monks but BUGS got first pick of everything as per her letter.. Notice the only thing he wanted was the delicious baked crickets!! SOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH HAPPENING AND SOOOOOOOOOOO LITTLE TIME TO UPDATE!!
BugsBullock #EscapeArtist I am!! WELLLL technically I didn't have to do anything except check the door after she left.. #TheHuman has been running CRAZY trying to help my GRANDpaps keep cows in the fence and trying to get enough hay cut and off the field before the rain along with helping Sonya get ready and tear down for her daughter's wedding.. On the morning of my great escape she was rushing to feed all the animals including the new chicken she rescued the other day.. She kept reminding herself as she rushed LOCK THE DOOR!! LOCK THE DOOR!! because she has gotten in a rush similar to today and has forgotten to lock it before.. WELLLLLLLLLL it worked.. She put the lock on BUT FORGOT TO PUT THE BAR ACROSS IT FIRST so it was the same as not putting the lock on.. All I had to do was give it one of my mighty shakes and presto I was out!! I didn't realize after going to the other barn she went to the hogs lot or I would have waited before heading out to see #RalphieD in the outside pen.. I was sitting on top of the tunnel grooming Ralphie when she walked around the corner and spotted me!! I gave her my HEY WHAT'S UP look but could tell by the look on her face she wasn't ready to party with Ralphie and I so when she took one step towards me I darted to the roof.. I wasn't trying to be bad or anything but OMGOSH it's been a LONG TIME since I had this kinda freedom and I just wanted to enjoy it for a minute.. She wouldn't take her eyes off me and was begging me to come down to her.. I thought about it REALLY HARD!! I almost did a couple times.. At one point I even reached down and touched her hand but not enough to let her grab me..Then I walked across the top of the pen that was originally built for me but we all take turns sharing nowadays.. When I cut across the top she ran around the bottom trying to keep up..I sat at the edge and chatted with her for a minute.. She finally got the message that I wasn't coming down right now and decided to come up to the roof with me.. She climbed right up the side of the pen just like us monks!! We have trained her well.. After she got all the way up there I walked further away from her.. I knew what she was up to!! Then she got on to the red roof and laid down!! I stood away from her watching her close for a minute!! I mean she did look tired and as usual needed my attention but could I trust her?? Slowly I made my way over to her watching for any sketchy movements!! I made my way to her head and started working on her hair.. 2 or 3 times she tried to sneak her hand up next to me.. I QUICKLY BACKED UP EACH TIME!! but then she just left her arm laying above her head.. I tried to wait for her to move it but before long I went ahead and scooted back down there and went back to grooming her head.. She slowly and softly started rubbing my leg. I was reluctant at first but soon just let her rub it. THEN SHE GRABBED MY LEG HARD!! This move would have gotten her SERIOUSLY BITTEN a couple years ago but now I have a bit of self control and I didn't. She got me pinned down and called my GRANDmammy to ask her to bring us a ladder so she could hold on to me and get down.. That's when she saw what a STUPID thing she had done to the door latch and took full blame for my adventure and how late everyone now was getting to the field..HAST MAKES WASTE!! She knows that yet still don't live it.. No worries though God took care of her once again and held the rain off till after they finished rolling the hay.. They got about half the field done.. They needed it all but is SO THANKFUL to have anything!! They got 38 rolls so that is close to a month worth of hay in winter.. Tomorrow #MyHuman and #GunnerBoeh are pulling out early to get a surprise for all us monkz!!! Can't wait to see what it is
