The #MightyMaurice was very excited to try out the freeze dried grasshoppers Barbara Fenwick sent for the #MonkKidz!!! I was trying to video the MAURICE BOUNCE of HAPPINESS that he was doing as I opened them up out of the box… I can’t believe how much #ILoveThisGuy and how HAPPY he makes my heart!!!! When I say WHERES MY MIGHTY MAURICEEEEEE in a type of excited high pitched voice HE TOO STARTS SCREAMING BACK AT ME AND BOUNCING TO MAKE SURE I SEE HIM!!!! The #MightyMaurice #IAm!!! Sure I am tiny as can be and cuter than you can possibly imagine but #OMGOSH you would not believe how SMART I am!!!!! #MyHuman says I am a little wizard that understands EVERYTHING about ANYTHING!!!! I am her #LittleHelper who LOVEZ to hang out with her learning how to do everything she does… I am strong she says as I carry around my stuffed elephant that is twice the size I am!!! My favorite stuffy is my owl that my daddy brought with me when I moved in here and I WILL dig it out of the center of my all my stuffy’s on laundry day… She thinks she is being funny I guess as she thinks she is hiding it in the middle but she isn’t!!! The only thing she is doing is making a mess for her to pick up after I sling the others out to find my lucky owl but I don’t think she minds because she laughs so hard while I do it… She thinks I might be a little spoiled but I feel like it’s more so that I know my worth and so does she!!!! I am LOVED #DELUXE and #IKnowIt!!! #LifeIsTooShortToFitIn #TheGoodStuff

Have you ever noticed how someone who has money seems to feel the need to say that they don’t have any money??? I mean seriously I remember years of hot dogs and macaroni… I never had the urge to say how “I don’t have any money”… CLEARLY anyone who viewed my life could SEE what was happening.. Now that I’m blessed enough to buy a steak I would not want to be hidden behind a façade that made me look as though I’m still stuck back in the past starving on hotdog’s .. I thank God for the good things that have happened vs HIDINGS MY BLESSINGS !!!! I will never be #Wealthy but I KNOW I am #RICH beyond compensation to the average person and I LOVE showing off my blessings !!! BE PROUD OF WHAT GOD HAS PROVIDED YOU WITH !!!! LET THAT LIGHT SHINE !!! GIVE THANKZ FOR THE SMALL THINGS AND YOU WILL FIND YOU HAVE WAYYYYYY MORE THAN YOU EVEN NEED

God knows I LOVE this diaper ditching little #PunkMonkey known around here as THE #MightyMaurice #KING of mischief!!! I have #NoDoubt as to why they are called #SquirrelMonkey!!! When he climbs up and literally FLIES through air to land on my head I can SEE the squirrel in his body!!! Across those shoulders and the way he holds his tail is extremely squirrel like.. THEN the way he can jump sideways from a dead still is very squirrel like in action..The slender waist (that is so hard to keep a diaper on) along with broad shoulders even gives him a squirrel look from a distance.. His HYPERACTIVE ENERGY LEVEL is very squirrel like as well.. I THOUGHT my other #MonkKidz was #Hyper but it turns out I didn’t even know what hyper was lmao… #ThisGuy goes 150 mph from the time his eyes open until they close again AND THEN within 5 to 10 minutes it’s like he had a full nights sleep and he is ready to go again!!! He’s my little #tazmaniandevil and #OMGOSH #ILoveHim #LifeIsTooShortToFitIn #TheGoodStuff

The #MightyMaurice #IAm!!! #MyHuman brought each of us #MonkKidz something special from #AthensGreece to make up for leaving us behind!!! Most of us got metal bells to ring including the bird.. #ReesieCup likes his bell BESTEST of all… I am about to go take the ringer out of it but that’s another story!! I was given a special bell that would fit well in my hand so she said BUT THAT ISNT WHAT I WANTED!!! Whyyyyyyy would #AbbyLouise get the special #SnowGlobe to keep all to herself??? Apparently I brought him back the WRONG souvenir!! I had bought him a cute little bell that I originally thought he would absolutely LOVE however I was WRONG AGAIN!!! Turns out the Mighty Maurice wanted a snow globe of his own.. OOOPS!!!! I guess he and Abby Louise, Java macaque, will have to share weather she likes it or not.. Maurice can be VERY PRESCIENT TRUSE ME!! You just never know what is going to tickle their fancies.. He owns me!! Life is too short to fit in!!

I like to think that I, Teresa Bullock, am the most bonded with the monk kidz at Misfitland Monkey Rescue in Moscow Ohio HOWEVER I WOULD BE LYING TO SAY THAT ABOUT THE MIGHTY MAURICE!! There is NO DOUBT that when it comes to Maurice he thinks Ronnie is the greatest thing since sliced bread!!! Oh sure I come in second place (I think) but in the Mighty Maurice’s eyes RONNIE BULLOCK POOPS GOLD!!! He ranks High above ALL others including ME!! Punk monkey!! LOL.. jk I absolutely LOVE the way they have bonded!! They are both struggling with something and NEEDED each other… It’s a beautiful bond that I honestly Thank God For..  🙉🙈🙊Life is too short to fit in..

#FunFact I read that I thought I would share with you.. I have had #JavaMacaque #Monkeys for over 27 years now and I still learn about them each day but I have just now started #SquirrelMonkey schooling.. I must admit it is MUCH EASIER HAVING A WORLD WIDE WEB OF INFORMATION AT MY FINGERTIPS!!!
Of course there is the facts that #MightyMaurice is a new world monkey just like the #Capuchins..
The capuchin and squirrel monkeys are often friends and usually hang out together in the wild..
HERES THE PART THAT I JUST READ THAT I DIDNT KNOW AND REALLY IMPRESSED ME!!!
As far as body size to brain size THE SQUIRREL MONKEY HAS THE LARGEST BRAIN OF ALL MONKEYS!!
I have always heard that the capuchin monkeys are the #SMARTEST of all monkeys but I don’t think I agree with that!!! I WILL AGREE THAT THEY ARE THE MOST COOPERATIVE MONKEYS but I would have to disagree with the OVERALL statement that ALL capuchins are the smartest of all monkeys.. They are ALL brilliant and expressive with communication skills that have to be developed between us and them in order to understand them.. JUST BECAUSE THE HUMANS THAT FORMS THAT OPINION OF THE ONE SPECIES DIDNT UNDERSTAND THE COMMUNICATION OF THE OTHER SPECIES DOES NOT MAKE THAT SPECIES DUMB!!! Just like in regular school basing a child’s ability to be an A student in a certain subject in a way that the rest of their life is going to be is SILLY!! Not everyone is going to NEED that particular skill to succeed in life .. GOD BUILT US ALL FOR DIFFERENT MISSIONS and we are each equipped with the abilities we need for our mission!! Each animal is as different as each human.. To stereotype the entire breed into one category is NOT accurate but easier for an overall understanding I reckon..
Either way THIS IS BRAIN SIZE Measurements… The OVERALL SIZE is not far at all from the #HumanBrain!!!

#MightyMaurice #IAm!! I am like a permanent growth on the top/side of Ronald Bullock’s head.. If #MyRonnie is going SO AM I!!! #RonnieBullock often wears a hoodie and that works as my coat.. We have been working super duper hard around the farm helping #TheHuman fix up some of winter damage around the pens.. We have burned some of the fallen tree limbs and picked up a bunch of the blown around rubbish.. We worked so hard that we deserved a #SpecialTreat!!
Our bellybuttons was rubbing our backbones so we had to get something GOOD to fill us up!! I was hoping for one of those big ok yogurt cups that I love so much.. That stuff is one of the world’s greatest wonders I think!!! Instead of going to the refrigerator we put air in the tire and headed down the road.. I thought perhaps we were heading to the yogurt store but then we pulled over to the other side of the road and got out of the car..
#MyMommy and #MyBubby was talking about #Mexican as we walked in.. I kept looking across the street to the yogurt buying store wondering if we were lost or what was happening?? I will admit when the door opened the overwhelming smell of DELICIOUS shot straight up my nose!! I was like OOOOOOOOO WHAT IS THAT??? Then we went and sit down in a BIG chair and they brought us a basket of these chips.. Suddenly every thought that I had about yogurt was GONE!! I REALLY liked the chips but I DONT want them dipped in the sauce!! I hid those dipped ones down the back of Bubby’s hoodie.. I was saving them for #AbbyLouise but Bubby threw them away before I could get them to her.. #MEANIE!!
#Anyhoo it turns out I LOVE this avocado stuff as much as yogurt IF NOT MORE!! #MyHuman says it is the same thing as she slices up in my dish but imma telling you her stuff doesn’t taste like theirs!!! She burns water!! js.. I tried EVERYTHING on the plate and I officially admit #ILoveMexicanFood!! ALL OF IT!! I was very well behaved and left there with a very full belly and told them we will be back soon.. I don’t know why we can’t just stay in the parking lot and go back 50 or 60 times per day?? I mean ITS THAT GOOD!!! #LifeIsTooShortToFitIn

HEY YALL!!! How goes it??? It’s me #Maurice stopping by to tell you about the #MauryShow that you have been missing out on!!! Since moving in here at Misfitland Monkey Rescue I have had minimal problems.. Of course it has been made clear to the #NewHuman’s that #IMissMyDaddy and I must admit that they have gone WAY OVER AND BEYOND to let me know that they do LOVE me and that I am going to be OKAY and that I WILL get to not only see Daddy again BUT the rest of the family as well… It was very clear the day that I arrived that my ENTIRE HUMAN FAMILY was hurting inside knowing I wasn’t going to be there anymore.. Love is NOT something that I am lacking!!! The only other thing that has been a “ISSUE” is that fact that I am not a fan of wearing a diaper!! I mean I am REALLLLLLY not a fan of wearing diapers!!! HOWEVER #MyHuman says I am doing WAYYYYYYYYYY better since Debra Ann Weiss sent me the bigger Preemie diapers that I have improved GREATLY!! She has these great big clumsy farm hands and they just don’t work well with the arthritis anymore so the itty bitty velcro staps was an issue and they are just WAYYYY more comfortable!! Through my missing Daddy process of being spoiled to distract me from dwelling on his absence I have gotten EXTREMELY ATTACHED and I do mean EXTREMELY ATTACHED to my bubby Ronald Bullock!!! As a matter of fact I cried and I cried and I cried that first day he went to school… I was on #MyHuman playing in her hair and hanging on her glasses but kept having MOMENTS all day UNTIL HE GOT HOME!! Geeezzzzzz #WhatARelief!!! I suppose I thought he ran away with Daddy and was only going to visit!!! #ScaryStuff #NoDoubt!!! It’s OKAY now!! We have talked about things and he says he will always return to play xbox with me and share his food with me!! I was so relieved!! SOOOOO today has been my BESTEST day so far!! Even down to the diaper thing!! Seems like if I don’t have a SPAZ OUT FIT that it is over quicker.. HUMMMMMMM I might just have to try it out but only time will tell.. What can I say???? I am young so self control isnt my strong point.. js

#ItsABoy!!!! Welcoming #Maurice to #OurTroop!! He is a 7 month old #SquirrelMonkey!! He is SOOOOOO SWEET!!!! You can tell that he has been cuddled a lot!!! He REFUSED to get off his Daddy head trying to stop him from leaving him!! His Daddy WILL be back to see him!!! I do have confidence in that!!! I could tell how much he LOVEZ the little guy and how hard today was for him.. He had a job offer that was too good to pass up but it is in New York where monkeys are not allowed.. He said that he really should have been there a month ago but just struggled with TODAY!!! Funny how something that only weighs a few ounces can dominate your entire life.. I am SO THANKFUL that he is trusting me with the one thing that he LOVEZ most in the entire world.. #IAmBlessed #JesusLovesMe #TheGoodStuff #LifeIsTooShortToFitIn #ILoveHimSoMuch

ITS A BOY YALL!!!! Meet little #Maurice!! ISNT HE #PERFECT???? He is a 7 month old #SquirrelMonkey!! OUR FIRST SQUIRREL!!! Gosh he is PRECIOUS DELUXE!!! He is EXTREMELY BONDED to his Daddy and his Daddy is EXTREMELY bonded to him.. Today was a very hard day for them both!! Maurice KNEW something was up and totally refused to get off his head come time for him to leave.. He WILL be back to see him again I have no doubt along with his entire family!!! They ALL LOVE Maurice and has shown great concern for his future!! It was extremely SPECIAL the way that they all LOVE and support him with a pure heart!!! Meant a LOT to me!! It really did!! They are good people and the disposition of Maurice shows it!!!
