#PennyRose tending to her #RalphieD.. He was SOOOOOOOOOOO RELAXED laying here.. He stays so paranoid and skitzie all the time it's good when I feel his little body go limp and know he feels safe.. He and #Penny came from the same home when I got them... As a matter of fact the only reason I got them was they were SO bonded together Craig and Nancy Kluin-Ski didn't want them separated.. They was young enough they could have gotten most if not all of their money back for them but no one wanted both.. THEY LOVED THEM MORE THAN THEY LOVE MONEY!! Their concern was that the 2 be kept together forever so they sent them to #Misfitland to live their lives out.. Up until a few months ago they were totally kept together all the time.. However #Ralphie kept doing this thing where he would cough sometimes till he would puke.. We done the normal fecal and blood work but everything showed fine.. Finally it was determined that he was suffering from acid reflux!! Ralphie D has always been a submissive monkey but I didn't realize how much he was getting picked on because of it until I started trying to figure out WTH could be stressing the little guy enough to cause such a health problem.. SOOOOOO now they do spend their days in separate pens MOST of the time but can always see, hear, and usually touch each other when I am not with them.. I don't want him stressed OR picked on.. Problem is he often starts the playing with Penny but just isn't big enough to finish it .. Don't misunderstand me Penny Rose LOVEZ her Ralphie D and is willing to protect him at any cost!! She is just to rough sometimes and it's don't realize when to stop..

It's Monday morning here at Misfitland Monkey Rescue.. The sunshine is blasting through the window and breakfast is in the oven.. Time to check social media and get some monkey lovins before taken everyone out to the barn yard to play for the day.. Penny Rose and Ralphie D LOVE to sit in front of the window in the sun and groom each other.. It cracks me up to watch them yet breaks my heart when the groomer don't get the equal grooming that should rightfully be returned.. Princess Penny keeps all these monk boyz in check around here constantly reminding them that SHE is top of the totem pole and they are to serve her.. I must admit she's got it going on from a woman's perspective!! She sure knows how to train a man.. LOL!! The greatest part for me is when their grooming splashes over on to me!! I LOVE THEIR LITTLE TOUCHES!! There is nothing as sweet as a tight Penny Rose hugg across the face or the AMAZING feeling of those tiny little Ralphie D fingers touching my skin!! THIS KINDA LOVE is the absolute BEST part of my day!! God I LOVE them!! They own me.. Life is too short to fit in!!

Notice how Penny Rose a 3.5 year old Java Macaque monkey don't hear/listen to me UNTIL I use the MEAN voice!! Why is that?? I just don't understand how little Ralphie D is SOOOOO submissive and yet Penny Rose is SOOOOOO THICK HEADED!! I was trying to open the box of delicious goodies that Joanne Pardini sent for them.. OMGosh she hooked them up DELUXE!! Not sure WHERE she got those green beans from but they are a HIT!!! They loved the entire box though!! Gunner Boeh packed a bunch of yogurt covered raisins with him for his road trip to Alabama along with some green beans and carrots!! That is what green beans Bugs Bullock left for him to have!! Needless to say THEY LOVED OPENING AND TRYING IT ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!! We are so THANKFUL for Joanne and others like her that take such great care of the monkeys and keep them occupied with interesting and different things.. I must be the most blessed person on Earth!! Times like THIS right here allow me to know that!! Look at TINY little Ralphie D, age 3, grooming big brother Bugs Bullock, age 21.. Both monkeys are rescues here at Misfitland Monkey Rescue.. In the USA there are monkey breeders just like there is dog breeders and they are in MANY homes.. Often people get them, just like they do dogs, without doing the homework of the habits, strength, needs, the size and expense of the habitat they will need and have to give the monkey up.. In Bugs case he was 14 months old when he came here.. The lady who brought him had gotten him after her husband passed away as a friend for herself.. Within the first year due to financial reasons she was forced to move in with her daughter and her family.. Her daughter had younger kids and as we all know monkeys and kids do not mix and MUST be watched closely at ALL times.. Needless to say there was conflict with the kids and Bugs Humom felt like the father taken up for the kids was being too rough with Bugs and wanted him out of that situation.. Ralphie D was only 8 months old when he came to Misfitland.. His Humom suffers from MS and was having to spend to much time in the hospital and tending to Ralphie D and Penny Rose was too much for them to handle right then so they allowed them to come here vs selling them to get their money back.. At the age they were they would have sold.. I really respect the fact that they wanted them to have a life TOGETHER with both the inside life they was use too ALONG with the freedom to be a monkey having access to the outside as well.. Now they live their lives out grooming, hunting, swinging, swimming, playing, and just doing whatever a monkey wants do.. The fact that a LOT of the time I get to personally spend with them has their hairy little bodies crushed tight against my face getting as close to me as they can possbly get let's me know they LOVE me but no way could it be as much as I LOVE THEM!! They own me!! Life is too short to fit in!!

Lisa Newby came to visit the monks.. She is a very important part of Misfitland Monkey Rescue.. She not only participates in the fundraising and general care of the rescued monkeys but she also makes sure they have plenty of toys!! This time she brought 2 big baskets loaded with miscellaneous toys she had gathered for them.. Upon dumping them out Penny Rose discovered 2 small plastic snakes she was playing with.. I couldn't help but think that Ralphie D would flip out over them.. He is SUPER FUNNY when it comes to stuff like that and I expected a big reaction from him.. To my surprise Ralphie D paid no real attention to it.. HOWEVER Bugs Bullock thought it was real.. HE GOT ME LAUGHING OVER AND OVER as he would react to it.. I guess Bugs has spent so much time outside he knows snakes can be that small and still be alive.. He keeps trying to warn everyone but no one is listening to him.. He cracks me up DELUXE!! These tubs are a lot deeper and obviously gonna give the kidz HOURS of enjoyment per day!! In the pictures you can see Penny Rose swimming under the water with her eyes open.. That's a normal Macaque move!! They even do it in salt water.. That's impressive if you ask me.. Salt water REALLY gets to my eyes and I keep them closed!! WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE PICTURE???

#PennyRose the slightly rambunctious I am!! I was born to be an acrobat!! I can fly through the air with the greatest of ease!! I have the grace of a ballerina and the body strength of he-man!! I have unmatchable skill when it comes to speed, balance, and will.. I am driven by forces inside me to be the best and I won't settle for less!! I practice twirling each night on the hanging bag from the ceiling.. Not just twirling but back flipping and head stands as well!! There's NOTHING I can't do!! The Java Macaques have been exploring the new pen recently.. They are enjoying the change of scenery being over here.. I was out picking their pen up getting ready to put fresh water in the pool when I caught this video.. I had both pens open so they could go in between them as they wanted.. Look at Penny's little twinkle toes poolside.. DANG SHE'S CUTE!! Then watch how quickly a Macaque attitude can take place!! All Bugs Bullock done was tell Penny Rose to not shut the door.. SUDDENLY she is mad as a wet hen and getting Ralphie D to back up her up!!! This is NORMAL Macaque behavior.. When dealing with monkeys you must be prepared for the situation to change in a heartbeat!! They can me more moody than me.. lol.. They own me.. Life is too short to fit in!!

#PennyRose the ADORABLE I am!! I scrubbed the window my self!! I was helping out in the kitchen while she was putting laundry in the machine..I decided to scrub the kitchen window using the BIG bowl of water in the sink and a few dish towels from the drawer.. I didn't stop there!! I went ahead and washed the counter top, stove top, and started scrubbing the top of the time out cage in the living room when I heard PENNY ROSE WHERE DID ALL THIS WATER COME FROM?? I looked at her like HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW??? I'VE BEEN WORKING!! Then she saw me scrubbing hard and fast with my little hands.. She giggled and said YOU ARE MOMMY'S BEST LITTLE HELPER AREN'T YA?? I knew she was proud of me so I screamed back at her at the top of my little lungs in my HAPPY voice agreeing with her comment before jumping to her head and giving her a BIG HUGG and MANY KISSES!! Then I helped her wash her face and get ready for the day.. She let me wear her purple head band but it didn't go well with my hair do and I didn't like it around my waist as a belt so I threw it down to the floor.. When we headed back out to the kitchen she stops dead in her tracks and says HOW DID THAT HAPPEN?? She was looking under the kitchen table at the broken pieces of her eye shadow container thing.. I didn't say a word!! I knew she knew we just used it and I was afraid she was gonna put 2 and 2 together and figure it out.. I started smacking my lips at her blowing kisses letting her know no matter what her makeup looks like I still love her and to not worry about it... She gave me a few kisses before picking it and lecturing me all the way to the barn.. She apologized before putting me up for the day saying MOMMY WILL COME GET YOU EARLY I PROMISE.. She just can't stay away from me.. It's my cuteness that keeps her coming back!! #SheLovesMe

#BugsBullock the feeling bad I am!! Don't get me wrong!! I chased #PennyRose a couple laps around the bedroom this morning and God knows I am still keeping #RalphieD in line and teaching him how to be a ALPHA MONK but I have vomited a few times and that has #TheHuman concerned enough she called Doc!! He too showed concern and thinks we should run another round of that MIRACLE DRUG through me!! He called it in to the compound pharmacy who is getting it ready for me now!! The miracle drug has to be special made just for me!! The guy mixing it puts a LOT of flavor in it to cover up the nasty taste!! He puts in so much flavor that I forget it's medicine and don't even give #MyHuman a hard time when she gives it to me.. Well at least not too hard of a time!! Anyway just say a healing prayer for me!! God seems to hear it when you lift me up to him!! Let's face it NO ONE thought I would be here and doing as good as I am by now.. THAT MY FRIEND IS THE POWER OF PRAYER!! I have LOTZ of stuff yet to do here at #Misfitland!! No way am I given up easily!! #BugPower

#BugsBullock in command I am!! I am the head of this household!! I am #TheMan!! When I speak everyone listens!! One grunt from me and everyone knows to pay attention!! #PennyRose and #RalphieD look at me for guidance.. They wait for my approval before approaching certain situations but they aren't always smart enough to listen to my wisdom long term!! They are young and have to make some mistakes on their own I reckon. Since deciding to stay in the house AND I DO MEAN DECIDING EACH DAY TO BE GOOD and keep the privilege ongoing.. I mean I could go back to my thick headed youthful self but that got me many years behind bars and I didn't like it.. There has been a few times that I have started to make a bad decision and be mean to #MyHuman but quickly changed my mind each time before doing anything more than grabbing her tight with a stern grunt but I quickly let go and loose my attitude after she says ATTT YOU KNOW BETTER in that MEAN voice she's got!! She can be SCARY let me tell ya!! She is borderline syco but that's another story!! She tells me each time how smart I am and thanks me for making good decisions and not being mean to her.. I do enjoy getting my ego rubbed!! It always feels nice.. Nighttime is hard!! I want to sleep right on the humans chest just like the good ol days but Penny Rose and Ralphie D are ALWAYS jumping under/around her neck and up the side of her head leaving no room for MY head to rest on her shoulder from the position I want to be in.. SOOOOOO often I just put my cute lil butt beside her head on the pillow she is resting on and bend over with my head landing on her empty shoulder that can't be reached from her chest.. IT'S A BRILLIANT MOVE and quite comfy if I do say so myself.. Those two maybe young, fast, and bendy but I am wise, imaginative, and can't be stopped!! #WhatsMyName

Talk about hard to get out of bed!! Ralphie D, Penny Rose, and Bugs Bullock make it next to impossible!! The warmth of their little hairy java macaque bodies wrapped around my face is like a warm towel during a facial but more energizing.. Getting up in a hurry don't happen much because I don't want to make them move!! Even when I have to pee I wait till I can't hold it any longer before making a move!! WHY DOES SHE SET THAT STUPID ALARM THEN HIT THE SNOOZE BUTTON FOR IT TO GO OFF AGAIN!! #BugsBullock reporting here because I am tired of it!! I can't be expected to fall back to sleep over and over 10 minutes at a time!! WHO DOES THAT??? I just sit here and stare at the wall thinking how nice it would have been if that stupid buzzer hadn't gone off and woke me up!! I would get up and play got your leg with #Eli but that seems to make her get out on the wrong side of the bed so I didn't.. I sometimes start grooming #MyHuman in-between the buzzing but that often gets #RalphieD and #PennyRose wanting to take my spot then push comes to shove and again #TheHuman steps out on the wrong side of the bed so I didn't.. No instead I just laid here this morning like the perfect gentleman I have become.. OK OKAY ALMOST PERFECT Gentlemen that I have become trying to figure out how I am going to disable that loud alarm for tomorrow!! I just want some SLEEP!! Is that to much to ask?? I need #MonkeyJustice

Bugs Bullock has a LOT to say tonight!! He gets a bit jealous of Ralphie and Penny and is trying to explain himself after trying to keep them away from me.. He sure has humbled himself in his old age!! Back in his younger days he would have told them to BACK OFF once!! After that he would have taken issue with them personally and taught them a lesson for ignoring him!! There has been a few times he has taken after them recently, means he's feeling better, but does listen to me when I raise my voice and stomp my foot/chasing after him.. He knows I will take him straight out to the barn for getting to rough with Penny Rose and Ralphie D and tries to maintain himself the best he can.. He also knows how to kiss up to me.. Watch him groom me as though he is saying SORRY MOM!! THE DEVIL MADE ME DO IT!! He does let Penny groom me for a spell but keeps a close eye on her at all times.. In his mind I am HIS human even though I do stress to him that I love ALL of them with ALLLLLLL my heart and need to love on everybody.. I will admit it makes me feel all warm and tingly inside knowing how he feels.. He is MY BUGS in my mind as well!! He owns me.. Life is too short to fit in!!

Was trying to catch #Bugs interacting with the TV but instead caught my rotten #PennyRose pulling his tail trying to get him to chase her.. I HATE to be chased!! I feel like I am running for my life EVERY time!! Even if it was freeze tag as a kid I HATED the feeling of being chased!! Not a monkey!! Monkeys LOVE to be chased!! I think that's why they grab your favorite stuff and RUN!! It's so you'll chase them.. They aren't trying to make you mad.. To them it's a game

Penny Rose got her feelings hurt
#PennyRose the heartbroken I am!! This morning was the worst day of my life so far!! I woke up spunky!! I started a wrestling match with #Bugs.. #RalphieD started a game of got your tail with me and then we really played HARD!! We/I knocked the DirecTV box off the dresser, we/he knocked the jackets off the back of the door, we emptied/unfolded one entire drawer of sleep shirts, and a few other miscellaneous incidents that kept making #TheHuman yell/stomp her foot at us.. Then she sat down on the toilet. I looked her straight in the eye.. She said Penny don't!! Just be good!! I thought about it and then jumped up on the counter.. I looked at her one more time and she says PENNY I MEAN IT DON'T!! I thought about it again then made my move!! I slung open the medicine cabinet and grabbed her deodorant and making a run for it I was inviting her for yet another game of chase!! We play it ALLLLL the time with the deodorant!! Suddenly her voice came closer and it was the MEAN voice!! The one that happens when she is about to blow a gasket!! She snatched me up very upset that I took a bite out of the top of it!! Yelling at me the ENTIRE time but THEN THE DAY GOT BAD!! SHE BUSTED MY BUTT WITH THE DEODORANT IT LIKE A PADDLE!! Something about me pushing her over the edge and totally taken advantage of her!! She said I was going to make myself sick and all kinds of mean things!! I WAS JUST PLAYING!! Geeze what happened to having a good time with your family?? I was so broken I just sat on her sat on her shoulder and pouted until I was taken to the barn.. OOOOOOOOOOOO she felt the guilt the more she realized she had broken my little spirit.. She apologized and I gave her some kisses but continued to pout on her shoulder!! She is going to have to work for it to make up for this one!! #MeanHuman

What a clumsy monkey she is.. I can't imagine any better way to make my heart smile than hanging with this crew!! I am OWNED by monkeys!! All day everyday I have one or more close by me!! I am their caregiver and overseer!! I fetch their meals, wash their beds, pick up their toys, take then to the doctor, whatever it is they need done I am the one who they depend on to do it!! I have no problem admitting I LIVE FOR THESE LITTLE HAIRY BEINS!! What do I get out of it?? A good grooming and LOTZ of monkey Lovins!! Penny Rose was in a LOVEABLE mood flipping for cuddles stealing my heart!! Watch her dig her sweet tiny head into mine after flipping into place.. It was a LONG day and everyone appeared tired.. The monk kidz seemed to be winding down and ready to cuddle.. THEN it's like Ralphie D and Penny Rose gets a second wind.. They start playing and pulling tails.. They are hanging from the ceiling and flipping chairs onto the floor!! The horse play is so fun to watch.. I would give anything for them to be able to speak and say what's going on in those little heads of theirs.. You can tell their wheels are always turning!! I wanted to show you how #BugsBullock guzzles his #Boost!! He waited patiently this morning.. Usually he jerks my hand over and over while I am trying to open it.. I can't even put it in a bottle because he has to have it NOW!!! This stuff is EXCELLENT for him given him MUCH NEEDED nutrition that Doc says is good to help his body rebuild.. Sorry you didn't get the real effect. #RalphieD LOVEZ it too and has a real problem with waiting his turn.. He is the one who knocks the camera down of course

Each of these unique individual Java Macaque monkeys have their own personalities and I LOVE everything about them!! There is one who makes me feel like he needs me to protect him on a different level though Little Ralphie D!! This boy just don't grow BUT his attitude does!! He wants to play with #PennyRose​ and #BugsBullock​ and starts a LOT of crap with them.. He is known for sneak attack tail pulling, hair pulling, and even biting!! This is NORMAL monkey play BUT often he can't handle the ending consequence and screams and runs for me to take his side.. He will grab me SO TIGHT with so much confidence that I can save him it kind of worries me.. When Bugs was healthy and was VERY SERIOUS he would easily go through me to get to him..Bugs was VERY BUFF in his prime and only tolerates me bossing him around now because he doesn't feel well enough to argue.. His faulty liver has him in a much weaker frame of mind.. That's the ONLY reason he is staying out of things when I get on him, leaving the dog alone after I get on him, getting out if the shampoo when yelled at.. the list goes on BUT only happens because he knows he is no longer as/more powerful as me.. We have we MANY ROUNDS in our time and I always wondered but by win I mean get him into the pen!! I was often injured lasting for days or weeks . I LOVE that Ralphie D knows I got his back but also wish he understood I am only so tough.. I also worry that Ralphie will start to bully Bugs thinking I bully Bugs.. Truth is he is going to bully Bugs regardless.. He is a young Macaque lookin to be alpha one day.. He was fixed at age 8 months.. I am praying that keeps him from getting TOOOOO BOSSY as he grows!! Bugs wasn't fixed till about 18 months and was already becoming a bossy brat lookin for love.. I LOVE HIM REGARDLESS but did have to build him a special kingdom where I could go inside to visit him but no longer get him out in any way.. I hated that but was the only way I could avoid his bad behavior after age 6/7.. He had 3/4 acres with a pond and trees along with Angel Bullock and Junior G.. They could go from there barn to the outside pen any time they wanted.. It was sad but he had a TV and all his belongings out there and he was content.. Even back then I gotta say HE OWNS ME!! #BugsBullock the slowly getting better I am!! I was really put through the ringer last year with this hard core serious fungal infection that took over my body and caused my liver to quit working properly.. My future looked DIM and my chances look dimmer.. It's hard to believe how far I have come since figuring out what was CAUSING the liver failure and getting the proper antibiotic to stop it!! I AM A LIVING MIRACLE!! First they thought I was ate up with cancer.. Then came the impossible mission of figuring out what was causing the Harding of the liver that thankfully was NOT cancer.. If #TheHuman hadn't taken me back for a back adjustment and the conversation come up that did they probably still would not know what was causing the problem and I may not be here today!! I WAS THAT SICK!! I get a little better each day!! Oh some days I am slower than others but at least I am getting around and enjoying life!! THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS AND SUPPORT!! YOU SAVED MY LIFE!!
