GOOD NEWS!! #Buvs is feeling better!!! Didn't lock his cage when I went to the barn and TADA he was out when I came back!! OHHHHHH I AM GLAD HE FEELS GOOD ENOUGH TO ESCAPE!! Just wish he would low me to pick him up.. Getting him locked up will be a trick BUT something that I am glad I have to deal with

PATHOLOGY REPORTS ARE BACK!! THE MASSES ARE NOT CANCER!! They have sent the test results out and looking for a human doctor to read them.. He has a hardening of the liver for some reason.. That is why it is not functioning properly and I reckon what made the masses?? I don't want to tell you wrong so I'm not going to go into great detail in fear of getting confused.. I asked the doctor to send me the reports so I don't get it confused as I repeat it to you.. He is mailing it with some of the medicine that Bugs is going to start on.. The medicine is very expensive almost $80 but that's ok if it works.. HE IS ACTING MUCH BETTER TODAY!! He has escaped his squeeze cage!! I AM SO HAPPY HE FEELS GOOD ENOUGH TO WALK!! I never thought I would ever be happy to have Bugs loose in the house again He is being VERY good and enjoying the inside life.. He hasn't torn up anything but of course he can barely move. . Gonna move him to a cage where he can move more but gonna let him enjoy the couch for a little longer.. THANK YOU FOR THE PRAYERS!! I AM SO THANKFUL THAT ISN'T A BUNCH OF CANCER GROWING IN THERE!! Now we wait for more answers BUT MORE TIME WITH BUGS IS WHAT I WANTED MOST FOR CHRISTMAS!! THANK YOU GOD FOR ANSWERING OUR PRAYERS!!!

LOOK even #Bugs lovez the bugs from the bug barn!! He has one that #PennyRose gave him tucked tight in his lil hand under his chin.. He's watching Rosanne very closely today.. It's cracking me up.. He shoved Penny out of his way to see the TV.. He is a TVaholic!! I have had to turn the TV off in the barn in the past to make him go outside to play.. That was back when he had total freedom to the unroofed pen. He used to hunt all morning, rest/play all afternoon, then hunt again in the evenings.. He truly enjoyed life before the state of Ohio made him be under roof.. Still fighting to change that part of the law!!!

Bugs sharing my cereal
#BugsBullock is enjoying my corn flakes with me..I think he likes the flavored milk best of all.. I just love the fact that he is drinking something!! Hydration is a KEY factor for his liver function.. Today the drink I ordered that Andrea Fritz told me about came.. They say it's like a IV in a bottle!! HE LIKES IT!!!! THANK GOD!!! Now if we can only keep him drinking it on a regular basis!! That's the goal

#Bugs is still super sore and not able to do much.. He didn't even want #PennyRose in there with him.. It was like he was worried she was going to touch his belly.. I am sure that's what it was actually.. I made her get out and closed his door.. I don't want him stressed or hurting any worse from her poking around.. Doc called him in more medicine that #GunnerBoeh and I went and picked up.. We also went to #BethelFeed and picked up the BAGS of pig food, chicken food, and parrot food from Leigh Doll!! IT'S THE GOOD STUFF TOO!! They are gonna be munching down DELUXE!! It's a PERFECT Christmas gift for their little/large bellies THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOOO MUCH LEIGH DOLL

OMG OMG OMG LOOK WHAT CAME IN THE MAIL #Bugs helped me open the AMAZING gifts that are not only for the monkeys but for me too!! My rubber boots fits perfectly and is exactly what I needed for cleaning cages!!! Got some warm socks too!!! The boxes didn't say who they was from for the babies but EVERYTHING in them was PERFECT!! Diapers, nuts, shampoo, drinks, this is stuff we use up each day.. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for making their life cleaner and healthier

Here's #Bugs.. He is sitting up and talking to me for the first time since we left Doc's.. Looking for information as to how to improve liver function??? His isn't working properly.. We are waiting for results from the biopsy to know what to do from here.. He is on pain meds and antibiotics..

#Bugs just got his x-ray.. I AM SO SCARED AND CAN'T HARDLY SEE TO WRITE THIS!! #Bugs has a mass in his colon!! It all depends on how close it is to the small intestine if it can be removed and put back together or if he has to put him back together and let him live his life out as long as he can.. Either that or put him down today AND I AM JUST NIT READY FOR THAT... OMG MY HEART IS BREAKING!! He has quit eating for the most part and certainly isn't passing stool correctly.. OMG ALL I WANT FIR CHRISTMAS IS HIM TO BE BETTER!!! HE IS SUCH A GOOD BOY!!! PLEASE GOD PRAY FOR HIM!! HE IS GOING BACK TO SURGERY NOW.. I can't quit shaking and crying.. I LOVE HIM SO MUCH!! My dad went through colon cancer so I understand what he is saying about this.. IT'S NOT GOOD!!! PLEASE GOD LET HIM BE OK!!!

#Bugs is in the kitchen shaking his cage THAT'S A GREAT SIGN even though there is still NO poop he goes back tomorrow to see the dye they put in him.. I am praying he don't need surgery.. He isn't a easy patient to tend to BUT will do whatever we need to do to get past this.. KEEP PRAYING!!! We are getting smelly like farts or something.. This is gonna be a REAL MESS whenever it breaks loose but that's ok too..

We are home.. Doc thinks from today's exam that the way his hole gets so small shortly inside of him, birth defect, that the poop just won't go through it because of how dehydrated he is and how hard it has gotten... He did go ahead and put the dye stuff in him and I will take him back Friday to get a x-ray of what's in there.. He had another enema and cold laser treatment today along with more laxative and barium stuff for the x-ray Friday.. He got blood work done that said he was dehydrated and a sample of his stool was checked but appears to be what poop should be.. The small hole would explain why we have fought constipation on and off forever.. This is the worst it's ever been though.. Keep praying for him.. He has a hard core serious belly ache because he can't get rid of the poo

No Poop!!! We are back at the vet's now.. They are doing more x-rays to see if anything has moved.. They are also drawing blood work to check everything in there.. I am asking them to put this dye into him that the nurse/tech told me about.. It will allow us to see down in there and if there is anything that doesn't belong that could block it from coming out.. I just want to be sure!! Cancers scare me!! My Dad had Colon cancer that about killed him.. I just want to be sure nothing like that is happening!! DOC JUST CAME BACK AS I WAS TYPING.. He said #Bugs rectum starts out normal but then shrinks down to nothing.. He said this didn't just start.. He said he has been like this his whole life probably.. I don't understand why it has gotten that much worse now?? He is still putting the stuff in him to be able to see/make sure SOMETHING isn't in there that don't belong.. It will take time for this glow stuff to work so we have to come back on Friday for another x-ray that will show anything that doesn't belong as glowing!! They are also trying to flush him out from the bottom again.. DOC JUST CAME BACK AGAIN!!! He said he IS getting a little bit of slimey poop out THANK GOD!!! If it comes out we may not need to do the other.. OHH THIS IS A ROLLERCOASTER!! He said he is making progress and to calm down then went back to work on Bug!! SOOOOOOOOOOO I honestly don't know what to tell you other than I will update you as I know something.. PRAY FOR HIM, me, and Doc if you don't mind. He has often had a problem with hard stool, so I thought, but lots of fruits and some juice usually takes care of it.. It makes sense now that I know he has that small passage.. Will update you as I know more!!

Didn't get home from the vet's with Bugs till after 8 p.m. then had to feed everyone that didn't understand why dinner was so late.. Dad came over and helped carry #Bugs inside from the car and get him set up on a rolling scaffold so I can move him about easily.. He is in a LOT of pain it seems.. I was right.. The reason that he hasn't been eating right is he isn't pooping right... The reason he has this projectile vomit is he is constipated.. He took an x-ray and it did show he was compacted.. He gave him an enema, lots and lots of fluids, and a laxative.. He also got a cold laser treatment and a back adjustment.. He was also sent home with more laxative and I bought him some miralax on the way home.. Now he will sit up for a while and then all the sudden lay down and kind of roll around.. When he lays down and rolls around is what makes me think he is in pain.. I have had those kind of pains before and they are no fun.. I am supposed to give the doctor a report tomorrow at noon.. Everybody pray I have a great big stinky mess to tell him about!!

#Bugs isn't feeling well.. He has gotten sick on me and isn't eating right.. He has a doctor's appointment at 3:40 today.. Say a healing prayer for him and another one for me and doc!! I sure hope and pray that it goes smoothly as possible.. He is a hard one to handle and he won't use the outside tunnel/trap because it's so cold.. This will be interesting!!

My name is #BugsBullock!! I am the FIRST monkey ever rescued at Misfitland.. I was 14 months old when my other mother found #MyHuman through a place called monkey matters. She was on a list to adopt a monkey that they had and gave out contact information.. I had already been to monkey jail and everything!! My other mother loved me enough she paid my fines and bailed me out . That's when she went to work to find me a FOREVER home!! She had already given me to the lady that I ran away from.. That's how I ended up in jail after a LONG police chase into the traffic with animal control and everyone else after me!! I was on the news.. The HEADLINE of the news and they followed my court case!! They was all up in my business.. My new human was scared my original human wasn't going to like the size of her home when she saw it . There was no internet back then so things wasn't as public.. When we pulled in the driveway all I could see was trees!! I couldn't wait to climb them!! I wasn't sure what my mother meant when she said THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT HE NEEDS!! I figured it out after she got back in the truck without me and pulled away.. I CRIED DESPERATELY FOR HER!! I couldn't believe she was gone AGAIN!! My new human went and got me snacks and a bottle.. She held me and groomed me a LOT.. I also had a big sister #AngelBullock and brother #JuniorG.. We bonded FAST!! They made things entertaining!! We played EVERYDAY in those big trees I saw pulling in!! We wasn't in cages at all except in the living room if it was night and we was acting up.. I will be 21 January 5, 2021 hard to believe it's been that long ago since that green truck pulled out without me in it.. While I do love my first human and wish she would come back to see me I also understand why I couldn't live with her anymore.. I have a Kingdom of my own here that she just couldn't give me where we lived and with her age/health.. She did make a mistake choosing the first home I went to BUT MADE SURE I GOT EVERYTHING I NEEDED FOR A HAPPY LIFE AT THE SECOND ONE!!
My favorite toy is my personal cell phone in the pictures!! I carry it all over my pin with me.. It got dirty so I am cleaning it in my swimming pool!! It needed to soak.. IF YOU HAVE ANY OLD UNWANTED CELLPHONES I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE IT!! MAIL THEM TO MEE PLEASE

Bugs Bullock is a 20.5 year old Java Macaque who is VERY set in his ways and stronger than the average woman!! Most of the time he is a gentle giant grooming and tendin to everyone around him.. There are times though that he will put his foot down and let ya know he is willing to fight over what he believes in!! At the moment he took my glasses that was hanging on my shirt and he now believes they are his.. I reached to grab them back and he quickly turned slapped, grunted then grabbed my hand and put his teeth down on it.. He wasn't bitting me but was letting me know he could and possibly would if I pushed it any further!! I know how strong headed he is so I didn't push my luck.. I did the only thing I knew to do at that point.. I waited him out!! I wasn't sure if they would be broken, scratched, or stretched when I got them back but I was sure sooner or later he would tire from them and drop them.. It happened rather quickly.. Soon he dropped them to the ground and kept walking.. I wasn't sure if he was really gonna let me have them or if he was gonna come charging back at me telling me NO as I bent down to get them.. Turns out he really didn't want them and allowed me to have them without further conflict.. Thank God because I need the glasses and hate the conflict..I have learned with monkeys you gotta pick your battles.. Not every conflict is worth a fight.. Even if it means replacing some things.. He owns me.. Life is too short to fit in..

Nothing's ever easy!! Made a major mistake and left my glasses hanging on my shirt color when I went in with Bugs!! BIG MISTAKE!! I was planning to make this super cool video showing you his new trampoline that Holly sent him.. instead I ended up being threatened by him if I wanted to pursue getting my glasses back anymore.. of course they're not worth the fight that it would have taken to get them back.. so I let him have them.. the good news is he has a brand new trampoline that is actually bigger than I expected it to be.. when Holly told me to measure it and see what size I needed I didn't realize I was only supposed to measure the mat.. I measured the entire trampoline.. that means the net of this one is as big as the one we was trying to mimic.. no worries it's still fits just fine and gives a bigger landing pad When jumping off the ropes.. #Bugs got a new rope but there was no name so we don't know who to thank 🤔 SO THANK YOU WHOEVER YOU ARE 😁 it's gonna work perfectly at his favorite sitting spot 😎 he was quite stubborn at first!! I guess because it's so cold out.. He wasn't gonna come all the way out to the sunshine pen at first 🤨 he was totally uncooperative when it came to removing the rope at but did help after gettin his hidden snack 😅 when I went out to the play yard he quickly came running behind me and showed me where he wanted his new surprise hung!! He climbed straight up and over to his new thrown.. Good enough and quick enough I almost hung it somewhere else.. Then I saw him climb down and instantly saw where it needed to go in order to suite him best 😎 he was VERY THANKFUL and groomed me to show his appreciation 😁 I LOVE his THANK YOU's 😊

Found a old movie of Bugs from back when he first come to live at Misfitland.. He arrived at age 14 months and I am guessing he is about 16 to 18 months here.. He is strongly attached to my daughter Rosa Bullock.. You can see their bond started upon his arrival and just got tighter.. This video is made mid 2001 so that would make her 12 almost 13 years old.. Watch their famous rope move that use to scare me to death.. I was always afraid one of them was gonna get hurt.. It was all fun and games with Rosa and Bugs until she would need to act as a authority figure and correct him.. You will notice when she tries to stop him from getting into her candy his attitude towards her changes.. That's what got him rehomed to our rescue. Bugs to this day has a food aggressive personality and that was the issue here.. It wasn't a big deal at this age but is a big deal now and is why he has become a barn monkey in his own kingdom.. He still loves to watch TV.. He has his own 32"flat screen and can go in and out as he wants.. On this video he keeps going to Junior G's cage bouncing it and playing with him.. At nights when they came in we feed them in their cages before bath.. That's when these films was made.. This film explains why Bugs misses Rosa so much!! She was certainly his best friend growing up.. They own me.. Life is too short to fit in..

Been talking to #RalphieAndPenny about the new renovations taken place over the next couple months 😁😊 they too are excited about the new pen and water fountain to play in 😊😁 this will be SO good to keep their high strung bodies active and give us some options when it comes to separating them and keeping them SAFE while meeting all of Ohios requirements 😎😎 the picture that was posted to start the campaign has been totally reworked to be LARGER and more SUNLIGHT for their health and bones 😊😁😎
#Bugs is having a rough day 😫I can tell his back is hurting because of how he is moving 😪 just stuck him a pain med in a frozen cherry and brought it to him 😉 he swallowed the whole thing so relief is on the way I hope 😉 pray for him and send him some good vibes 😊☺️ even with a hurting back he is the BEST groomer 😊😍🤗

#MyBugs is VERY ill 😫😪😥 he has thrown a disk in his back that has made him basically paralyzed from the waist down 😫😪😥 Doc says he has a 50/50 chance of getting his feeling back 😭😢😰 PLEASE PRAY FOR HIM it has me worried to death 😖😧😓 he will be making trips to Troy all week for Lazer treatments along with the steroid injections and pills he is taking 😉 he has had a spinal adjustment along with the alignment thing done but his feet and legs still feel cold and basically just dangle from him 😫😓😭 VERY WORRIED ABOUT HIS WELL BEIN
