#OMGOSH #NobodyKnows the struggle of being #TheSmartOne around here!!! Sometimes all I can do is shake my head and thank #God that I am not her!!! I thought that us #nonhuman #primates were not as #SMART as the #HumanPrimate’s????? Not around here!!! I have watched her walk around here in a circle lookin for the same phone that she is talking on!!! #SERIOUSLY!!! You can’t make this crap up!!! Then last night she and I were hanging fresh beddin for us #capuchin’s when she couldn’t find the clips that she was JUST HOLDING!!! She searched the floor, the swing, the ladder, and all her pants pockets.. I watched her go in circles saying “WHERE IN THE HECK DID I SIT THEM DOWN AT??” The entire time I was thinking “YOU MISSED A POCKET” and it was almost as though she could hear what I was thinking because she kept checking her pants pockets getting more and more uptight… She is always saying that we have a spook that lives here because she is ALWAYS loosing stuff!! Finally she remembered that she had a HOODIE on!! Yep 5 minutes later she realized that it was hanging on her shirt pocket the entire time!!! I won’t fill your entire screen with blank black pictures and videos taken by the #SnazzyJazzy BUT I COULD!!! Everyone is always like I can never get ahold of you!!! I will tell you why you can’t BECAUSE I LIVE WITH A THIEF who watches me 24/7 just waiting for me to make a mistake!!! If I forget and take my phone out with me the second I get distracted ITS GONE!!!! She calls my friends AND ANSWERS WHEN THEY CALL HER BACK!! The one day she made 25 calls and LEFT 2 messages for my friend who also has capuchin monkeys and when she played the message #Jazzy left her monkeys started answering to her… They were planning something together photo credit minus the first 3 goes to Snazzy Jazzy

I wish I knew more about #ThisGirl!!! #SnazzyJazzy is one of the SMARTEST #MonkKidz around!!! SSSSHHHH DONT TELL THE OTHERS I SAID THAT!!!! I am telling you #MyJazzy is a tech geek to say the least!!! They have TONZZZ of cellphones laying around here BUT OF COURSE GETTING MINE IS THE MAIN GOAL AT ALL COSTS!!!Dont get me wrong they ALWAYS WANT WHAT IS YOURS!!!! Even if they have the identical thing you have YOURS IS ALWAYS BETTER.. I think every monkey here has made a couple few phone calls here and there BUT WHEN JAZZY DOES IT SHE MEANS TO!! She had stolen my phone and when I finally found it I had calls from Kathy Day so I called her to see what is up.. She is the lady who had #LouieRay and now his sister #BabyBee is fighting #BreastCancer so I worry about her a LOT!! When I called her back she said she had only called to RETURN MY CALLS!!!! She said she would answer and hear something but never could make it out.. Turns out our SUPER INTELLIGENT Jazzy was calling her.. Yeah that’s cute BUT KINDA NORMAL for a monkey.. The extremely impressive part is the fact that she KNOWS HOW TO ANSWER AND EVEN MAKES CHATTER LIKE TALKING… I thought WOW what an impressive move.. What a coincidence?!!!! THENN about a week later I get a call from my friend Alison who lives on the other side of town and don’t know Kathy AT ALL told me almost word for word the same story Kathy had told me almost word for word!!! I thought WOW!! She really is answering the phone!!! Hummmmm THEN A COUPLE DAYS AFTER THAT I was cleaning and making good timing when suddenly my phone was GONE!!! Gone GONE GONEEEE!!! Just like THAT!! I went and got Ronnie’s phone and called my number THEN SUDDENLY SOMEONE ANSWERED IT!!!! I thought I KNEW IT!! You little ***ch GIVE ME MY PHONE and went to get my ladder to retrieve it from the roof !!! I am tell you it that little girl is OFF THE HOOK INCREDIBLE!! Gosh I love this brilliant little punk monkey #SheOwnsMe #LifeIsTooShortToIn

The #SnazzyJazzy reporter #IAm!! #TheHuman and I have been working on the cricket boxes we are preparing to try and raise crickets seeing how we are spending well over $500.00 per month on them!! We have 3 boxes and we have been trying to paint the insides before the next 10,000of them arrive!! SOOOO we were out in the walkway area working with my pen door open and a flipping CHICKEN went inside to roost on MYYYYYY swing!!! Needless to say I was #NotHappy with Butters perched up in #MySpace!!! WTHECK??? #MyHuman had gone to get the shop vac something about cleaning out the sunflower seeds that had accidentally on purpose been dropped down inside the freshly painted inners of the cricket box.. I knew nothing about that nor how it happened!! js… When she came back out I was telling her about that stupid chicken in my pen!!! She was certain that I was trying to tell her something and literally walked in my pen looking towards the ground asking me if one of the dogs went in there but then she turned around and came back out as though I didn’t know what I was talking about!! I kept telling her that THERE IS A FREAKING CHICKEN IN THERE WOMAN!! I was VERY CLEAR about what I was saying yet it probably took her 3 to 5 minutes to REALIZE what my real message was!! When she figured it out she says OOOOOO IS BUTTERS ON YOUR SWING #JAZZY??? My mouth had dropped open with disbelief of what was happening!! #SERIOUSLY???? Whyyyy are you standing there like this isn’t happening??? DO SOMETHING WOMAN!!! THERE IS A CHICKEN ON MY SWING!!! She poops on there and we are going to have chicken and dumplings for dinner!!! I AINT PLAYING!!!! Where are you going???? Don’t worry about the stupid camera!!! THE CHICKEN!! CONFESSION TIME!!! I must admit I hated being forced to lie to YOU in the first place and even though it just took calling the sheriffs office and a couple peace officers in order to be able to SPEAK THE WHOLE TRUTH OUT LOUD I am SO GLAD to be getting this off my chest!! At the time of me writing this post #Jazlyn aka #Jazzi had been on the farm for 4 to 6 weeks.. Records will show exact date.. The problem with announcing her arrival was the owner who surrendered her made it 199% #CrystalClear that I was NOT to use her ACTUAL NAME because she didn’t want the person who gave Jazzi to her to see her on our post but she was having MAJOR ISSUES with Jazzi acting out towards her and could no longer handle her.. She stated how she was getting weaker each day and how sick she is.. She said Jazzi has figured out that she can over power her when her mate is gone which is often due to work and such.. She stated how she just couldn’t keep getting bitten up like that all the time trying to change her diaper.. Where they live and have 4 other capuchin monkeys the monkeys wear diapers 24/7 so changing her was a MUST but had become a nightmare with her degrading health issues.. She wanted Jazzi to come to Misfitland Monkey Rescue because she would always be able to visit her and that way remain a part of her life in some way since we have always encouraged the interaction of the surrendered animals and the ones who raised them.. I believe it’s good for the #MonkKidz mental wellbeing.. No different than when we leave home we still wanna visit our family… Monkeys are EXTREMELY SOCIABLE ANIMALS and certainly know their troop!! Just like us!! Just like us moving to a new place is a MAJOR MENTAL ADJUSTMENT that takes time to process but once we get the new environment processed we find ourselves INVOLVED in the new environment.. New friends, favorites, habits, and often even a new love.. In this case LOVE is certainly a MAJOR FACTOR!! See the monkey has fallen DEEPLY IN LOVE WITH THE #GUNNERBOEH but that’s another story for another time.. I was INSTRUCTED BY THE PEOPLE SURRENDERING HER THAT I WAS TO CALL HER WAS #Josie!! I tagged her a few different ways such as #NosieJosie #NoseyJosie and #NoiseJosie IT NEVER FELT RIGHT TRYING TO CALL HER JOSIE AND I HONESTLY FELT LIKE SHE HATED IT!! See the other monkey that she was in with was named Josie and I just felt like she thought Ronald Bullock and I didn’t know her name making her feel uncomfortable.. I tried to tell the previous owners that I felt that she needed to be called Jazzi due to emotional stress it appeared to be causing to her.. The previous owner got VERY UPSET ABOUT THIS IDEA!! I asked what about if I called her Jazzi Jo and she said ABSOLUTELY NOT IT COULD NOT HAVE JAZZI OR TAZZI BECAUSE ITS TO CLOSE TO HER REAL NAME.. Trying to keep the peace I have worked hard trying to train myself when typing to YOU online to respect the previous owners wishes and type her name as Josie BUT FOR HER MENTAL WELLNESS #RonnieBullock and I have called her Jazzi every since we realized THAT IS WHAT IS BEST FOR HER!! All of the officers here do our absolute BEST to be respectful of each human that we have the pleasure of interacting with HOWEVER WE ARE IN THE BUSINESS OF RESCUING MONKEYS NOT PEOPLE!!! I feel free to tell you this now due to the fact that SUDDENLY THE PREVIOUS OWER SHOWED UP AFTER BEING TOLD WE ARE A RESCUE.. WE DONT “RETURN” SURRENDERED MONKEYS!!! If this had been a “BABYSITTING” situation from day one this would be a different conversation BUT IT WASNT!! SORRY BUT YOU CAN ONLY VISIT HER AT THIS POINT!! Not another word was said until the 2 of them showed up to steal her today!! The poor baby was shaking and came running inside to hide IT WAS CRAZY ODD ACTING OF HER AS SHE SCREAMED BLOODY MURDER!! She was loose hunting after the light rain kinda waiting on them thinking it might be good for all of them to see each other.. I was told by the other officer that was here that they had texted her saying that they MIGHT be coming by and when I ask her WHY THEY WERE COMING BY UNANNOUNCED SHE SAID THEY WERE JUST WANTING TO SEE JAZZI.. LIED LIED LIED TO HER LONG STORY SHORT #THISGIRL DESERVES FOR THE WHOLE WORLD TO KNOW HER REAL NAME!!! NO ONE SHOULD USE OTHERS TO COVER UP THE LIES THAT THEY CHOSE TO LIVE LIVE BUT SOME HAVE ZERO MORALS ITS OBVIOUS!!! I am soooooooooooo glad this LIE is over for me!! I am NOT a good liar!! Sorry I mislead yall.. JUST SO YOU KNOW I NEVER WANTED TO!!!!

#NosieJosie #IAm!! I am a tad bit nervous about EVERYTHING so #MyHuman tries to spend #QualityTime with just ME allowing me to be QUEEN of the moment!! She thinks that I am a little bit scared of #OpieRae.. I don’t want to admit it out loud but she can be a bit rowdy to say the least!! Don’t get me wrong I do LOVE the #MizzOpie Rae.. We sleep together sometimes and everything.. HOWEVER Opie also makes it clear that Ronald Bullock and Teresa Bullock belong to HER and that she doesn’t want any other troop members trying to steal her thunder by being close to them.. Therefore I stay away to avoid conflict.. #TheHuman disagrees with her opinion and wants ME near her too!! That’s how come I end up with PERSONAL TIME.. She thinks that once I have the confidence in knowing that she LOVEZ me too that I won’t be so intimidated by the #OpieGirl.. Time will tell but in the meantime I am enjoying the #SPECIAL treatment #LifeIsTooShortToFitIn

#NosieJosie #IAm!! Since moving in here at Misfitland Monkey Rescue I have had a LOT of emotions running up and down!! I mean upon arrival there were ALL THESE NEW #MonkKidz that I didn’t know nor did I know how they were going to like or treat me.. I didn’t know if I was allowed to play with their toys or to lay in their beds.. I certainly didn’t know how they were going to react to me eating dinner with them or getting in their monkey chow.. #MyHuman keeps saying ITS OKAY!!! It’s Josie’s!!! You can have it!!! Seems she says this a LOT and it is kinda confusing to me because I was never turned loose like this before.. I always drop it or run away from it when I see her looking at me.. She calls me a little paranoid schizophrenic but the truth is I am just trying to be good!! I do enjoy being out of the pen 95% of the time.. I didn’t get to do that before.. As a matter of fact I don’t even HAVE to wear a diaper here!! I have a problem with giving in to allow her to place a diaper on my buttocks.. ITS MINE!!! DONT TOUCH IT!!! However what she has made me do is stay out on the porch because apparently she doesn’t want naked monkey butt sitting on the counter tops.. I have spent a lot of time watching through the window wanting to be in there with them and often she would open the door and offer me to come and get a diaper but it seemed if I just give in and allow her to do it that she may start to believe that she is in control and God knows we can’t have that!!! But after quite some time of protesting I have decided that just because I allow her the privilege of wiping my bottom once that it won’t mean I have to give in every time!! I REALLY REALLY REALLY wanted to play with the toys in the toy box and the cover over my butt was the only way it could happen so I caved in and allowed her to put it on #DramaFree.. She thought she won but it was actually me that won.. I mean seriously I LOVE THE TOY BOX!!! Greatest invention EVER!!

The #NosyJosie hear me scream!!! Why YES!! YES I DO HAVE A SUCKER!!! Whyyyy you ask??? WELLLLLLLLLL I have gotten kinda tight with #GunnerBoeh and he seems to know all the ins and outs around the place… He has what some of you #Human’s refer to as clout!! He has been here the longest out of all the capuchins and they all respect him.. Well except #OpieRae!! She doesn’t respect ANYONE except #PennyRose!! Penny has even MORE CLOUT than Gunner but that’s another story… ANYHOOOOO #TheHuman was moving the outside pen around passing in and out of the pen frequently.. She rehung my slide from where #Raymond the bull had torn it down rubbing on it.. She also moved in the metal climbing boxes and put it near the door we use to pass in and out of.. This is going to be real nice for entry and exit because I can sit on it, stand on it, and even hid things inside the holes of it!! SCORE!!! She had successfully done that when she remembered that she had found some pieces of metal that she could hang up near our new xylophone!! She went back out to get the metel pieces and some rope and rushed back in without clipping down the hasp.. She was up on the ladder trying to hang the rope when Gunner realized that he could help me escape!! I wasn’t going to go at first because I thought he was setting me up!! Then he came in to the pen with me and I followed him back to the porch… #MyHuman didn’t care that we were on the porch eating crickets so I thought that was kinda tough and that I was getting by with something.. So she continued hanging the banger things and then putting a piece of wire through the broken pieces on the xylophone.. We are ready to ROCK now!!! Either that or we have the worlds largest windchime.. Gunner had opened the porch door back up so we could get some fresh air and I wanted to go over to see my friend #AbbyLouise who was in the monkey barn but in the outside lot.. SOOOOOOO I headed that way.. Suddenly the new Human says OOOOOOHHHH NOOOO LITTLE LADY!!! WE ARENT READY FOR THAT!!! Not sure what she was speaking about because I AM READY!!! BRING IT!!! What is it btw?? Then she disappeared to the porch.. I went to the cat door that I found not but a few feet from where she saw me.. She came back out and began YELLING my name almost in a panic.. I was beginning to sort some of her tools out for her but all the yelling got to me so I finally stuck my head back out the cat door and looked at her with my WHAT face??? She was like oh there’s my princess Josie!! Do you want this and flashes a beautiful blue sucker at me!!! WHAT?? YES HELLO!!!!! IS A DUCKS BUTT WATER TIGHT??? OF COURSE I DO!!!! So I followed her back and CHA-CHING I GOT A SUCKER!!!! I am such a #GoodGirl and I know this because my Human tells me so!!! #LifeIsTooShortToFitIn

Hello my name is #NoseyJosie WELL it’s really just #Josie but my #NewHuman calls me #Nosey!!! There is more to that story but we won’t get into that right now!!! I am 11 years old and I am kinda shy although I do seem to like this little #MonkeyGirl the call #OpieRae.. She is kinda obnoxious and persistent but cute with a kind heart.. She is good about grooming me and I REALLY REALLY REALLY like that!! I am going to live here with her now and we are going take great care of each other forever because we are sisters from another mister!!! We are not just simple blood relative’s.. We are much better than that!!!! WE ARE A BONDED FAMILY NOW!! Not birth family but a CHOSEN WANTED LOVED BONDED TROOP FAMILY that will love me forever and ever!! WOW!!! It feels GOOD to be ME
