Sonya Roberts is a VERY IMPORTANT pet Human here at Misfitland Monkey Rescue!!! She not only holds a big part in being a board member but she is also a HANDS ON employee here!! This girl will jump in and help me get done any off the hook idea I have for these little darlings AND COMES UP WITH A LOAD OF FRESH IDEAS HERSELF!!! Her real job often involves cleaning up for people and God Bless her she is ALWAYS THINKING OF THE THINGS THAT THE BABIES MIGHT BE ABLE TO USE OR LIKE!! From toys to food to monkey sitting Sonya is on top of it for the monk children!!! We LOVE her here ❤️  Sonya how much you appreciate what she does for these rescued babies!! They own me!! Life is too short to fit in!!

SOOOOOO the other night was extremely hot and I slept out on the trampoline with the capuchins.. Poor #GypsySue and #DaisyMae felt extremely left out so I promised them I would sleep with them soon… SOOOOOOOO LAST NIGHT I DID JUST THAT!!! We had SO MUCH FUN!!! They thought it was #ToughStuff having #TheHuman up high in their pen to cuddle with and I thought it was pretty cool myself!!! We looked at the stars.. Listened to all the coyotes and swatted the mosquitos together… They were SO GOOD and SO LOVING it was very hard to walk away from them this morning… #LifeIsTooShortToFitIn

OMGOSH I AM FINALLY STARTING TO FEEL BETTER AND TRYING TO CATCH UP ON SOME THINGS… I uploaded this video 8 months ago and JUST NOW seeing that it needs to be posted yet… WOW!!! SORRY!!!! THANK YOU ❤️❤️❤️ I tell ya sometimes you realize you don’t feel good but you have felt so bad for so long you don’t even realize just how BAD your actually feeling until you start getting better!!! That’s where I was after YEARS of “PRACTICING MEDICINE” was about to just let me pass on.. I promise you one thing right now IF IT WASNT FOR THESE MONK KIDZ OF MINE NEEDING ME I WOULD HAVE GIVEN UP A LONGGGGGG TIME AGO!!! My reasons for hanging on is sitting right here in front of you in this video!!! By the time I pass away I must finish the monkey biodome for them to have a way of making money to be able to play their humans in cash vs grooming favors… While I think THIS is more than enough incentive for me to scrub poop, clean pens, do their laundry, buy and prepare their food, pay their utilities and maintain their barns but other people are going to want cash for the same job and that’s where their perfect biodome comes in to play!!! THANK YOU GOD FOR HEALING ME IN ORDER TO STRENGTHEN ME FOR THE MISSION YOU DESIGNED ME TO DO!!!! NOW PLEASE USE ME TO GET-ER-DONE!!!! They own me.. Life is too short to fit in!!!

SO I decided to camp out with my precious Daisy Mae and perfect little Gypsy Sue 2 of the sweetest Rhesus Macaque monkeys on earth!!! Go ahead and try to tell me that there could possibly be a better way to wake up???? Even though I must admit that wire was AWFUL to sleep on and I even doubled my blanket!! UGH!!! I must admit it was totally worth it getting to wake up to THIS!!!! If the feeling of THIS could be bottled and sold I would never have to worry about money again!!! They own me.. Life is too short to fit in!!

The LOVE shared between Java Macaques Ralphie D and Abby Louise is so heartwarming!!! I am a far cry from wealthy but let me explain to you how RICH I am!!!! Just LOOK at what is happening in this video!!! I can be rolling through my day STRESSED TO THE MAXIMUM and then look over to see something like THIS happening… HOW COULD ANYONE REMAIN UPSET LOOKING AT THIS??? They are so loving and kind tending to each other with such attention to all the details of each and every hair on their little bodies.. Does your social group tend to you like this??? Human primates seem to only LOVE you when all the conditions are right… Non human primates seem to love you enough to make the conditions right… We could learn SO MUCH from them.. They own me!! Life is too short to fit in..

Ever just wanted that back rub to last FOREVER???? I couldn’t help but feel sad inside for poor little Miss Abby Louise as I could see her tiny little heart break as Ralphie D left her feeling used and left totally alone… After ALLLLLLLL the hours she spends grooming Ralphie and a little over 3 minutes is all he can afford to invest in her??? I understand her frustration but little I can do to help.. I of course offer to groom her constantly but she knows she can have me anytime!! It’s the affection for HIM that hurts her feelings the mostest and grooming from someone else can’t replace that.. God Bless her little heart!!! Come here my baby girl!! Your Human will make you a bottle and you can forget all about his disrespect!!! Life is too short to fit in!! They own me!
