My 2 #OldLadies #AbbyLouise who is 24.5 years old and for a #JavaMacaque that’s getting up there… #MsMolly who is a 39 year old #Weeper #CapuchinMonkey is getting up there too!!! #Molly looks up to #MsAbby for guidance and structure while the Abby Louise looks to Molly as the little sister (even though Molly is older Abby has been here longer so she thinks that gives her more entitlement) that is always trying to act like her or steal her snack!!! Abby runs her mouth a LOT but Molly totally ignores her (mainly because she is deaf) and I think that’s what makes their relationship work!!! Abby thinks she is a gorilla when it comes to running her mouth but doesn’t back it up if the one she is picking on isn’t scared.. Molly isn’t scared because she doesn’t understand what Abby is saying SO IT WORKS #LMAO!!! #TheseGirls make my heart swell with LAUGHTER and JOY every time I look their way!!! MISFITLAND MONKEY RESCUE
A few minutes into the world that I LOVE so much!!! A verity of the monk KIDZ that makes my heart beat!!! I can’t even begin to explain how much work goes into to tending to these babies but they are worth every second of my time!!! You honestly wouldn’t believe how much crap I deal with from these small creatures… LOL!!! The fences I fix, the laundry I do, the dishes I wash, the grass I cut, the trees I trim, the meals I make, the broken I fix, the money that I spend is nothing compared to the LOVE I am filled with with just one glimpse of them being HAPPY and CONTENT!!! Monkeys are my passion ALWAYS HAS BEEN!!!! I will spend the rest of my life making sure THEY have a way to support themselves after I expire!!! That’s my MAIN GOAL IN LIFE!!!! Otherwise I am not rescuing anyone… The first monkey biodome must be up and running before I can go because these are NOT DISPLAY ANIMALS!!!! They deserve the absolute BEST but they have to make money at the same time… This has been a difficult task for me to figure out because over 29 years ago when I got my first monkey, Angel Bullock, I never even considered a way for a monkey to make money!!! I was always gonna be the supporter no different than any other pet… HOWEVER every single monkey here is a rescue and there are many more out there that needs and deserves a HOME that they will NEVER leave… The ONLY issue with this is that they are expensive in EVERY way.. Therefore they will need an income of their own to survive long term!!! The biodome will provide a way to make that happen so the can and WILL THRIVE for the rest of their life COMFORTABLY!!! They will have all the nature God intended for them to have along with the luxuries man taught them to enjoy as well.. The BEST OF BOTH WORLDS fixed (so life beyond their own will not be happening!!! I don’t sell monkeys!!! If I did money would NEVER be an issue trust me!!!) and living as large as possible with a top row view for people to view them being THEMSELVES in real life form as stress free as possible!!!! OHHHH I WISH YOU COULD SEE WHAT I SEE FOR THEIR FUTURE!!!! I have a vision that I can’t wait to SEE in real life!!!! Baby steps BUT STEPPING TOWARDS THEIR FUTURE and that my friend is MY WHY!!!!  Life is too short to fit in!!!

SO MUCH TO DO!!!! I worked hard to get ALL THE GARBAGE (where does the zillion pieces of paper come from???? This is why most places don’t give enrichment items!!!! Monkeys have ALL DAY EVERY DAY to break/tear things up and nobody wants to bend over and pick stuff up…) I got the grass mowed AND TOOK THE FENCE DOWN along with put it back up to be able to roll the #NewPool into the #PlayYard for the #MonkKidz!!! I am #SoImpressed with how level it turned out to be without effort!!! I think God knew how #EXHUSTED I was and said He would just give me a bonus for the effort… #LMAO!! Either way I am #SoThankful it worked out that way!!! Worked till way after dark and just woke up to pouring rain!!! Heck I might not even have to hook up the water tank to fill it up at this rate!!! #LOL!!! I think they are going to LOVE it ESPECIALLY if I can get the ledgers to work out like I have pictured in my head!!! The 2 oldest and most privileged monk kidz residing at Misfitland Monkey Rescue in Moscow Ohio… Abby Louise is a 24.5 year old Java Macaque monkey who spent 2 FULL YEARS BEING LEGALLY PASSED AWAY per court records in the state of Ohio!!! No worries she is BACK TO LIFE PER ALL RECORDS NOW AND THRIVING!!! Ms Molly Iis a 39 year old weeper capuchin monkey born 11-18-1986 and purchased from Gator World in Florida in March of 1987 by a couple who has now passed away so she is living out her days here with us as a Misfit where she fit right in with the other… I wasn’t sure how she would adapt with all these other monkeys and animals in general because she was never exposed to them growing up… SO HAPPY TO ANNOUNCE THAT SHE LOVEZ EVERYONE and basically accepts everyone even better than some who have been raised with others!!! She LOVEZ Abby and looks so her for guidance!!! Molly can’t hear hardly anything.. I have noticed that she watches to see how Abby is going to respond to things and follows her as though she is a leader and she is a follower.. I think it BOOSTS Abby ego!! At first Abby would almost roll her eyes as though to say SHES DOING IT AGAIN but now she will turn to look to make sure Mollify is doing what she should be.. I dont care what anyone says THEY COMMUNICATE and UNDERSTAND each other even though they speak differently!!!  They own me!!! Life is too short to fit in!!!!

The Easter Bunny left behind bananas, grapes, eggs, PRIZE EGGS filled with dry fruits, oranges and some apples strung all around the pin to be found by the amazing monk kidz here at Misfitland Monkey Rescue in Moscow Ohio… They thoroughly enjoyed every bite as you can tell!! The new toothbrushes was almost as big of a hit as the food!! LOL!!! We are BLESSED by God to be the Pet Humans of these special beings!!!! NO WE DONT SELL or “REHOME” so please don’t ask!!!! We provide a FOREVER HOME for the rest of their life!!! PLEASE RESPECT THAT!!! We spend our days making sure that their days are filled with bonding, hunting, sunshine, and peace of mind knowing they don’t have to fear being subjected to a different troops of humans buying or selling them ever again and that brings comfort to my heart!!! My phone rings EVERY DAY wanting to buy a monkey BUT THERE IS NO AMOUNT OF MONEY THAT COULD JUSTIFY A PRICE TAG ON ANY ONE OF THEIR LITTE HEADS!!!! They are PRICELESS so please don’t even waste my time with the question!!! The answer will ALWAYS BE THEY ARE NOT FOR SALE!!!! They own me!! Life is too short to fit in!!!

Ms Molly is a 39 year old capuchin monkey who has lost both of her owners and is now living out the rest of her days here at Misfitland Monkey Rescue.. She has become good friends with the adorable Gunner Boeh.. Gunner Boeh moved here years ago when his pet humans became ill and fighting sickness… Ms Molly had NEVER been exposed to other monkeys in all of her 39 years so I wasn’t sure how she would respond to life here at the rescue… EVERYONE HERE IS FIXED and just living the best life possible for the rest of their life so she doesn’t have to worry about being used in that type of way by the others so that has to be a relief for her and make her more confident about interacting with them.. I can honestly say that Molly has taken to others of her kind QUICKLY!!!! Gunner has been here for years and still acts like I am mistreating him when I force him to be with the others vs with me… I guess the difference is Gunner had humans 24/7 and Molly spent a lot of time alone.. Not sure at all but what I am sure of is Gunner and Molly are bonding and I LOVE THAT!!!! Look at them just being monkeys!!!! Isn’t it adorable!!!! I think he likes older women and she obviously likes her men young!!! What can I say???? My Molly is a cougar… lol… They own me!!! Life is too short to fit in!!!

Had some help hanging the monkey climber by Ms #AbbyLouise and Good Golly #MsMolly!!! We got it up there after 25 trips up and down the ladder… Too bad my main help won’t even hand me hold me stuff!!! WELLLLLLLL OKAY!!!! I stand corrected!!!! They WILL do the #HoldMe stuff BUT I AM NOT GETTING IT BACK ANYTIME SOON!!!! #LMAO!!! Ms Molly is getting some much needed fresh air on her little bottom!!! She even went to meet #ZanderMan and #MyLevi ON HER OWN!!! I turned around she was UP THERE!!! She had climbed up to the top of their entry door and was chatting with #Zander!!! I was up in the air when this happened.. After I realized what she had done I tried to just watch out of my peripheral vision!!! One thing that I KNOW 110% is that MY reaction (or lack there of) to a situation has a PROFOUND EFFECT on how the situation is going to ultimately unfold… Next thing I know here comes #MrLevi to check out the majestic Molly!!! Gosh my butt was puckered!!!! The thing that had me worried was how high Molly was!!! She can be wobbly and I feared that she would fall and that would be like a 6foot drop with large items around that I didn’t want her to hit!!! On the other hand IF I moved towards her or spoke to her I could have caused Zander and Levi to think she was in trouble OR that they were in trouble (getting inside their little heads can be a job) and lash out at her!!! The fence between them usually keeps me at rest but the HEIGHT of her fall and her ability to CATCH herself had me stressed #DELUXE!!! No worries though!!!! They actually groomed a bit then they all went their separate ways!!! #ThankYouGod!!!! Molly climbed down and life went on!!! Think I will screw a board up there for them to sit near each other in the future!!! That way they will have a wide piece to sit on and won’t have to hold on to the cage wall for stability… #LiveAndLearn #TheyOwnMe!!! #LifeIsTooShortToFitIn

The wrestlers #MightyMaurice vs #GunnerBoeh!!! They get me laughing SO HARD sometimes!!!! My friend gave me her couch so I put my old one out in the #MonkKidz inside area so THIS can happen out there as well… THEY SEEM TO LOVE IT and I catch them doing THIS out there on it often… The only problem is #IDC how many fresh blankets I put out there for them to have on it #SnazzyJazzy steals them ALL!! I swear the other day she had them so piled up on the ledge (her favorite hang out) that she was overworking herself trying to keep them from falling!!!! Sucks that never get to film these moments because when they see me watching them they quickly become nervous as though they are in trouble for whatever it is they are doing and quit doing it… I had taken the hose to the couch a few times since the move and it’s honestly holding up WAYYYY BETTER than I ever dreamed it would… Honestly wish I had realized that I could have hosed it when it was inside lmao!!! #DontJudgeMe #LMAO #LifeIsTooShortToFitIn #TheGoodStuff

#MyGirls #AbbyLouise and #OpieRae helped make some #HomeMade #MonkeyChow for the #Troop!!! They LOVE to bake!!! #SnazzyJazzy and little #DramaQueen #Sky (she thought I wanted her handfuls of ingredients back) was helping until paranoia took over and they made a run for the porch with stolen items Sky SCREAMING and #Jazzy running behind her just because she DONT KNOW WHY SHE IS SCREAMING!!! The drama around here is #HYSTERICAL #ISwear!!! I live with a group of paranoid schizophrenics imma tellin ya!!! Truth is they usually are #GUILTY of SOMETHING so it’s not completely without warrant… lol.. #CRAZY PART IS I looked over and thought SOMETHING HAPPENED TO OPIES TONGUE (recently Penny Rose bit her tongue pretty bad so now I am paranoid I guess) and rushed closer to SEE what I am seeing!!! Probably part of why Sky thought something was wrong and freaked rushing out the door… I swear these #MonkKidz are going to be the death of me!!!
